    Giant macaron

This little hole in the wall has some of the best pastries I've ever had. You may have to wait a minute for parking but it is well worth it. The iced chai is great but the cold brew wasn't great. I wouldn't go there for coffee. They don't have any flavor choices nor do they have lattes but that doesn't matter because ...the food is why you should go. We got a savory scone. It was so light and flavorful. A meat hand pie that has the best pastry dough. These guys really know their craft. We got a macaron which was huge. It was soft and chewy. Next we tried the raspberry cream croissant stick. It was great. Crispy pastry with sweet cream but the best thing of the day...the thing that should keep you going back was the savory tomato croissant. Oh my goodness we have been talking about this all day. Flaky pastry with a fresh tomato, thyme, olive oil and flaky salt!! It was outstanding. This is a must try place!

I came here with a friend for lunch and it was overall an enjoyable experience. The food was good but took a while to make and was a bit overpriced for what you got (in my opinion). The seating was also extremely limited and not well designed; we were lucky to be able to get seats when we got there but saw many people enter and then leave without ordering anything because the tables were full.

Such an adorable place with an amazing variety of sweet and savory options! I got the focaccia pizza and blueberry muffin, both of which were delish. I will definitely be back to try their wide variety of lunch sandwiches. Just a note that there is limited seating here (4-5 bar seats) so definitely plan ahead!

Absolutely delicious cinnamon rolls. Have had several good cookies too. Cute little place. Very friendly staff

Really good! We visited this weekend and had a peach ginger iced tea, cold brew, and two sandwiches- a breakfast sandwich and a caprese sandwich for around $35. The pastries looked great I would love to come back and try those, as well as the matcha and Thai tea :) The employees were very nice as well.

Amazing!!! Stopped in here to grab coffee and breakfast and everything was delicious! Had the iced chai- highly recommend and the oat raspberry muffin and daughter had peanut butter overnight oats. So many delicious options. Staff was so nice, atmosphere was adorable- 5 stars!!

My favorite favorite cafe to visit when I am in MA. Like I mentioned in my previous review this place is a hidden gem in Bedford and probably the only place worthy in whole town of Bedford to be called quality food. 95 percent of their food is . After reading a little article on them I finally understand why everything tastes so great. Didn't realize the main chef worked under a Michelin star chef. I also wasn't surprised they are expanding. I know in my heart their business will continue to thrive. You can tell their pasty's are made with love. Chicken sandwich is just excellent. Their roast beef sandwich was definitely one of the best I've had. Only thing that felt a little short for me was the bahnmi. Personally just little too creamy I think jalapeño would be a good addition to the sandwich. I will definitely return here every time I'm visiting Bedford. Just hoping next time I visit here they don't take all the talents to the new location.

Sublime pastries of all kinds! Cupcakes and fancy dessert pastries are delicious. Sampled their breakfast selection for the first time on a rainy Sunday morning, and was similarly impressed. Staff is always cheerful and friendly, service is quick. Pretty expensive, but well worth the price. This is the kind of amazing bakery every town needs!

Pleasant service but the food is too savory and over spiced. It is very pricey but they try to be too fancy.

The shop has a cozy, intimate feel, and one of my favorite details was the large window into the kitchen, where you can watch the bakers preparing dough and pulling fresh pastries straight from the oven. It operates primarily as a grab-and-go bakery with only limited seating, but the steady stream of customers gives it the lively atmosphere of a neighborhood favorite. The pain au chocolat was one of the standout pastries from my visit. The laminated layers were beautifully defined, creating a crisp, flaky exterior that shattered with each bite while revealing a light, airy honeycomb interior. Inside, the dark chocolate was rich and evenly distributed, adding just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the buttery pastry. It's an excellent example of a classic done well, with careful attention to both texture and balance. The classic croissant was equally impressive. It had a rich buttery aroma the moment I opened the bag, with a crisp, golden shell that gave way to a soft, pull-apart interior. The pastry felt light despite its richness, striking the balance that makes a truly great croissant. Every layer was distinct, and it never felt greasy or overly heavy. Since everything is baked fresh in relatively small batches, timing your visit makes a difference. Many of the most popular pastries sell out well before noon, so arriving earlier gives you the best selection. Even during the morning rush, the staff kept the line moving efficiently, making it easy to grab a box of pastries without a long wait. Nouvé Bakery is a fantastic addition to Lexington's bakery scene. The quality of the lamination, the careful execution of the classics, and the fresh-baked experience make it well worth the trip. Whether you're stopping by for a simple butter croissant or the excellent pain au chocolat, it's the kind of bakery that's easy to revisit whenever you're craving authentic French pastries made with care.

So I get a large Chip's Tip sub and a few pastries for snacks. The bill was steep for what I got but I thought it would be worth it for my son to try the sub. After getting it, we split the sub and ate it in the car. Let me tell you that this was not the same steak tip I remembered. It was so bad, we tossed it in the garbage at the gas station next door. The steak was very tough and hard to chew - almost like the tips had been cooked earlier and then reheated for my order. Everything just seemed greasy. We also did not enjoy the raspberry turnover or yellow cream cannoli's we got for dessert. Maybe it was us or maybe it was the food but I will never go there again. We are not food snobs by any stretch of the imagination, and I rarely will say anything bad about a restaurant experience but we ended up going to Augusta's which is just a little bit down the road, for chicken just to erase this experience from our mouths. I know a lot of people will swear by their steak tip subs and that is great but it's just not for me anymore.

I got inspired by watching youtube to make a jambon buerre sandwich - supposedly a popular quick sandwich for Parisians. The sandwich is half a baguette with butter and French bistro ham. I tried searching all over for the French bistro ham with no luck. The only options were online sources with expensive shipping and/or expensive minimum order sizes. Somehow I stumbled upon MA-France nearby in Arlington and they sell jambon-buerre sandwiches. It's a small shop that sells sandwiches, pastries, and a small offering of French food products. Lots of pastries and baked goods like quiche, tarts, cookies, croissants, etc. The cheese offerings were very limited and basic. I can imagine that the cheeses that they sell are the same types and brands that they use for making sandwiches. For example, they sell President brand Brie - that you can also buy at Costco and market basket. Disappointing, but understandable because they can't afford to buy more variety and more expensive offerings without a big enough client base to buy those cheeses before they go bad. Getting back to the sandwich - it was half a baguette with some thick slices of butter and two pieces of French bistro ham. The bread was kind of dense and the crust was more chewy than crispy. I was disappointed that they didn't bother to spread the butter, but if they're not selling enough sandwiches then they're probably keeping the butter in the refrigerator - making it too difficult to spread. When I got home I fixed up the sandwich to my liking. Overall, the sandwich was okay, but not good enough to make me want to go back. At least I was able to solve my hunger for the jambon buerre sandwich.
