I stopped in Sunday night with a few friends to grab some dinner to-go. My friend pointed out that the beach canvas art is actually hung on fold-up chairs which is kinda cool. I ordered Mike's Famous Philly Cheesesteak. The staff were pretty slow in making the sandwiches and ringing us up. One in particular looked extremely confused. The sandwich was ok, nothing amazing but it filled my belly. read more

My mom and I came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, and right after we placed our order, we definitely avoided the lunch, rush! I let the guy who was cutting the meats know that I had some food restrictions, and he was very accommodating, although he did not change the blade or cut my meat separately, so that was kind of unfortunate. Thankfully, it's just a food restriction and not an allergy, but I would be concerned for anybody who wanted to eat here that has allergies. We also thought it was very weird that when they print the order receipt, they put it on top of the sandwich, bread or order that they are preparing. That is extremely unsanitary! Overall, we both really enjoyed our orders. I love the bowl option and it was definitely piled high today . read more

No acknowledgement from staff upon entrance. Music very loud and staff was talking so loud with each other they could not hear when I was asking a question. Poor service. read more

This is by far the worst Jersey Mike's I've been to. The service is consistently slow, and online pickup orders are almost never ready when they say they will be. Every visit seems to come with an issue, whether it's the wait time or an incorrect order. It's the closest location to my house, so I've kept giving it chances, but I'm done. It's disappointing because I love Jersey Mike's, but this location has been consistently frustrating. read more

I've been to this location a few times now and find myself walking out the door frustrated each time. The first thing I notice each time is that it's pretty dead inside, not many people inside and presumably no online orders either (no tickets hung, nobody working on prepping sandwiches, etc). Despite it being very slow, it takes an egregiously long time to make it through the line of 2 people (myself included). Each time I have had a part of my order forgotten or messed up. If you've ever been to a Jersey Mikes, you know that they write everything down on a piece of transfer paper and make a sandwich afterwards, not at this location. Nothing is being written down and orders are being made incorrectly. The dining room is a little messy and back line/where food is being prepared looks a little gross. read more

Rolls are not fresh .. sizes are smaller as are all portions; especially the tuna salad. All counter men looked unhappy and did not engage with customers. One girl working . A deer lost in the headlights.. she could not ring up the order right .. asked if I wanted a bag .. the order was big, 3 large plus a size of bacon... I said yes. She dropped a bag in front of me and walked away. Close this store... it's an embarrassment read more

Service was fine, place was clean. Food sucked. Ordered a roast beef sandwich for approx $11.00, I had less than 1.5 oz of meat and 3slices of see thru provolone cheese. There are too many other sub shops in this area. Find another shop. They are making a killing on you if you buy there. Be informed stay away. I will not return. read more

My partner and I got one regular sized #8 he made the order at 11:51. We just sat down in the car and it is now 12:30. The time it said it would be finished was 12:02. I understand wait time and understaffed but this is ridiculous. There were 4 people behind the counter and they were so slow. read more

How hard is it to read a food ticket?? "No peppers" and the whole sandwich is covered in them?! Ridiculous. What about people with allergies?? Literally couldn't see any peppers til I took a bite, that could be devastating for someone. Do better! read more

What's the point of ordering ahead if the foods going to be 20 minutes late? I asked for my sub to be made Mikes way but it didn't have oil and vinegar, nor the pepper relish I requested. I also noticed when a customer has questions at the register and the cashier doesn't know, the other two employees stop what they're doing and they all go to the register. read more

Showed up an hour before close and they were out of bread! They didnt let me know until 10 minutes after I stood there waiting to order! How do you manage to run out of bread at a sandwich shop!!??? read more

I ordered a tuna sandwich and it had practically no to tuna. Waisted my money. Out of all the jerseys mikes I've been to this is the worst.

Ordered online on Halloween night, came in 10 minutes after my pickup time and still had to wait another 10 minutes inside for them to even start making my sandwiches which I don't mind but they never spoke a word to me or even acknowledged my existence the whole time I waited when the entire restaurant was empty, not even a hello. read more

Clean restaurant. Very pleasant staff. We had some customers ahead of us who were difficult and the staff handled it very well!

Extremely slow sandwich making at 3:20pm 02/08/2025 Sandwiches look great but it took 20 min to make 4 sandwiches. Not sure why the workers are moving like turtles. Some people have places to be. read more

First time using the app and they totally got my order wrong. Gave me 1 sandwich missing the cheese. Had another with only 3 pieces of cheese. They had no Parmesan bread and when I called to speak to a manager they had no manager there only a shift manager maybe 20 yrs old. Put me on hold and then hung up on me instead of talking to me. I've only had Jersey Mike's once before at another location and it was delicious. This location was horrible and it didn't taste as good. Probably better off going to another location read more

Horrible customer service! Everyone working was rude and seemed annoyed to be there. Got a hot sandwich and when I asked for lettuce and tomato on it, they made it a big deal. Never coming back to this location. read more

Ordered a giant size sub here, the Big Kahuna, and they only put the filling on one half of the sub, the other half was empty, just bread. Also seemed like they didn't put extra cheese as advertised. Waste of money. read more

Was looking for something quick and easy. It was a good choice as the food was good quality. I was a little leary as the reviews didn't seem positive. It was actually very good with a friendly staff. They had a lot of choices in the area, but I've always been a jersey mikes fan. read more

Take my advice or don't I don't care either way I'm never eating at this place again this is by far the worst location out of all the Jersey Mike locations that I've been to and I've been to some pretty bad ones I've been to a Jersey mike's where their lettuce looks worse than anything you'd find in the dumpster in the back of a restaurant after it's thrown out all its food. So I come in to this store and no one acknowledges my presence everybody's looking down and I'm standing there for 10 minutes waiting for somebody to ask if I wanted anything to order then as they start making my food I notice they're handling all of the ingredients the bread the lettuce the tomatoes the meat after handling receipts that they printed out to go with the sandwiches that they're making I dont know if you know but all that ink that's on those receipts it's very toxic and they're handling your sandwiches with the gloves after they've had their hands all over these receipts so my advice is stay as far away from this place as you can. read more

Hit the Spot As I was driving, heading home from work, I began thinking about what to have for dinner. All I knew is I had a hankering for a sub, so I decided to check out Jersey Mike's; it turned out to be an excellent decision. I ordered three Original Italian's and a roast beef and provolone. The bread at Jersey Mike's is perfectly, soft, fresh and tasty. The meats and cheese were definitely fresh and plentiful. I ordered my sub "Mike's Way" which meant it came with Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions, Vinegar, Oil and Spices. The sandwiches were delicious, reasonably priced, and great customer service. If your hungry for a sandwich give a Jersey Mike's A try, you won't be disappointed. read more

Ordered Portabello mushroom Swiss sandwich. The mushrooms were dried, rubbery and inedible. They must have pre cooked the mushrooms and just heated them up when I ordered them. This is the second time this sandwich turned out this way. Prior to these two orders the Portabello Mushroom Swiss sandwich was delicious with the mushrooms tender, juicy and tasty. I don't go to this sub place any more. read more

Horrible this is the second time I ordered a giant with extra meat and cheese and I get this sorry excuse of a sandwich I spent 30 bucks for nothing that's ridiculous I expect more meat and cheese this is a regular amount and if that's how u guys are making ur sandwiches now then u should let customers know read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Fast Food Near Me - Avondale, Arizona

employees were very quick and very nice. Didn't seem to mind my substitution on my sandwich. Price is reasonable and quality is 100x better than subway. Their counters were a little dirtier than I'd prefer, but they may have just gone through a busy time. read more

I've been to this location once or twice before & the service was fine, but lately it has gone downhill. I went on a Sunday to get some sandwiches & they had a note taped to the door that said "no bread." I thought it was weird because I went around 7pm, which is a little early considering they close at 9pm. So I thought I would just come back another day... Wednesday comes around & my family placed an online order so we could just pick it up after work. We arrived to the shop & waited about 20-25 mins after the scheduled time, the girl let my mom know they were short staffed, again we understood & gave them more time. Then we get home & none of our sandwiches are what we ordered. I ordered the "Big Kahuna" which has chicken & mushrooms (my sandwich was just bread & chicken, not even cheese). We called the store to let them know & they said "are you sure you requested those sandwiches, you have to make sure you hit edit or else they come regular." We found our online order, repeated it to the employee over the phone & she said "well we were running low on ingredients..." This was such a disappointment because this location is so close to our house, but it looks like we'll be going to the Dysart location from now on. read more

Worst Jersey Mike's. Slow ... disorganized... I like Jersey Mikes but I drive past this one and another 6 miles away.

I've been coming to this location since it opened. I want to say 70% of the time it's good there's, there's at least 10 flies flying everywhere inside but lately it seems like they're getting the subs wrong there forgetting ingredients or they're being skimpy. Just left Jersey Mike's 11/13/22 and when I got home, they forgot the bacon it wouldn't be a big deal if a few days ago and the week after that they really didn't put any meat in the sub. This is happening too often hopefully you'll fix this issue. read more

I wish there were no stars, this place needs to be HEALTH INSPECTED ASAP! First time ever in a Jersey Mike's, went to the bathroom before placing order and was absolutely shocked and grossed out. It was roughly 11:30, no way had they been open long enough to have the bathroom that destroyed - but they were certainly open long enough to have inspected the bathroom. It was pure filth - and in my book, if your bathrooms are that dirty, your kitchen can't be much better. Note to the OWNER of this business, you should be hands on and make corrections swiftly. No fun cleaning a public bathroom as an employee, but no excuse to allow this. Will be making a report to Maricopa County today. read more

Several times I've come into this store an the teenagers behind the counter have claimed to not be making hot subs at the time.. i came in today the first thing they said is that they are serving hot subs but only have white bread lol.. okay.. So i ordered two subs one plain with just meat an cheese, an the other was #56 with Chipotle mayo. Both orders were incorrect and had to be remade. And the reason was due to the young girl behind the counter that didnt but our request on the order paper for the cook.. Im all for teenagers working as i was one at one point, but why is there no adult supervision present. Mistakes happen but allowing kids to run a store is unacceptable and the customer service is at a bare minimum.. read more

Just ordered three subs from this store. What a waste of money. Why are they still open? One of the subs I ordered was the Chipotle Philly STEAK. SLOPPY. Sauce just everywhere poured on it. Hardly no steak on the sandwich, ordered extra cheese, but no cheese at all. The bread old and falling apart on all three subs. Close this place. The other two subs where just as bad or worse. Straight to the trash. read more

They should not have a bunch of young teenagers running this place!! They need to have at least one damn adult with some common sense on the shift with these kids at all times! I had to bring my sandwich back in because the bread had avocado on it and I'm allergic! So then they made my sandwich again with no problem. I went to eat the second sandwich and that also had avocado on it! So either they are not wash/wiping off the utensils after each use or they are not changing their gloves either way they need some guidance! Also they sit and talk while they are making sandwiches but none of them have masks on! Smh read more

Worst experience, guy in front of me had complex order or staff just confused. My sandwich was complete and wrapped waiting at register. Staff would not allow me to pay for main and go about my night. Instead I had to continue to wait 5 more mins while they completed the other customers one sandwich order. read more

The employees here are really nice and their store is clean and well kept. I ordered the #26, bacon ranch chicken cheesesteak and it was delicious! It's definitely a sandwich you eat right away to avoid a soggy sandwich. My whole family loves eating here and we will definitely be coming back. read more

This is the absolute worst Jersey Mikes I have ever been to. The sandwich was awful. They tried to charge me extra to swap out cheese on a sandwich. I wanted American cheese instead of provolone and they told me it would be an up charge if they had to change the cheese. Freaking ridiculous. I don't understand why there is even a tip option at check out! I would never tip for this ridiculous service and location. Go elsewhere. Do not go to this location. read more

Came in hungry from a long trip from California. Meet three smiling faces who immediately welcomed me warmly into the establishment. First notice, everything was clean and well taken care of. A gentleman named Trey asked me for my order. I explained how much I was looking forward to a #43. Within 10 mins or less I wasn't paying attention to time. I was hand delivered to my seat a gorgeous philly cheese steak. I seriously couldn't stop eating it, Down to the last corner of bread. Horrible customer service all the workers were on they're phone taking pictures and socializing. My order was supposed to be ready at 7:39 got here at 7:40 and order wasn't even started waited 10 extra minutes for my sandwich to be made. Will be contacting they're manager for sure. read more

This guy is the only one here and taking his sweet time and I'm in a hurry. Get some hustle dude. Its lunch time! Oh wait a second guy here and things are still slow! Omg! The second guy is not helping the first and I think he is the manager. This dude has to wash his hands after taking payment each time. That's good but its causing this place to be slow!!!!!! Manager should be taking payment and letting the employee make the food! Thumbs down for SLOW SERVICE! read more

I have never left a Yelp review, but after leaving this establishment I couldn't believe the lack of basic sanitation and had to leave a review. We showed up at 10:30am, store opened at 10am so I was surprised to see how dirty the place looked. Upon entering I noticed the counters where food was prepared were dirty and looked like they had not been wiped down for days. Bread crumbs and food debris all over the counter. The meat slicers (not sure correct term) had meat and food build up and looked like it had not been cleaned properly in some time. I gave the girl my order. She proceeded to start on my order as I looked around. I noticed the glass case where meat and cheeses were refrigerated had old meat drippings and a large chunk of meat sitting in a tray with brown juices. Meat looked old. I observed her grab raw chicken with gloves and proceed to handle the bread with the same gloves. I could see the raw chicken juice on the bread. My husband went to wash his hands in the bathroom and came out with a look on his face. I told him let's go, I couldn't eat there. He agreed so we told the girl never mind. As we walked out my husband was telling me how disgusting the bathroom was. He said it smelled like a wet dog and the sink was black, as though they poured something in the sink like oil. I have never walked out of a restaurant or food establishment for lack of sanitation. But I could only imagine what else I couldn't see behind the counters and in the kitchen area. This place should be shut down and sanitized before serving the public. read more
