We were told the office staff called the designated office twice in one day but FAILED to follow up in subsequent days. Additionally, we were never notified that they failed to obtain the proper medical clearance for treatment. We found out AFTER we called the day before the procedure to ask a question. The failure of the office staff to perform their duties resulted in cancellation of my husband's procedure. My husband is experiencing dental pain and the failure of the office staff to fulfill their duties and obligations have resulted in extended pain and discomfort for my husband. We have since obtained an appointment with an alternative dental facility; however the lack of medical professionalism from Riverwalk Dental has resulted in unnecessary delay in my husbands treatment.

This place wants to make money so bad that they totally abused my insurance coverage! They knew clearly I had Tricare and they could not do any cleaning or needed treatment for me! I hope this doesn't turn into a novel but i cannot say enough good things about this office. I…read morerandomly woke up with bad tooth pain 2 weeks ago and immediately called my dentist, they got me in same day and i was referred out to Vaughn Endodontics since it is a recurring problem on a tooth I've already had a root canal on as well as a crown. I was told this office has newer and better technology to be able to see and get better images to make the call whether my actual tooth was salvageable with another root canal or if it would be best to extract. I called the office immediately leaving my dentist (still in excruciating pain!) and wasn't expecting them to be able to get me in at 9am the next morning. The front desk said they would need to work me in in between schedules which i had no problem with, i was so grateful they got me in so fast. I got put in a room pretty quickly for being an er case, i figured I'd be there all day. Chloe and Dr. Vaughan were so incredibly nice!!! Chloe and i chatted during my whole time there about books and it was like catching up with an old friend. Dr. V also keeps google on a great oldies station so we talked about the music too that was playing throughout the office. The kindness and friendliness was much appreciated to get my mind off this whole tooth ordeal. They explained the procedure and what was going to happen very thoroughly. They made sure i was comfortable the whole time with my pain and just made the whole visit a breeze. At the end i was given a pamphlet with information on what was done as well as after care and pain management and contact info. I was shocked to see that the doctors give out their personal numbers for emergencies but this turned out to be a blessing! A few days after the first procedure i was still in horrible pain so i reached out to Dr. V (it was a Friday and before a holiday weekend so i needed to try to figure something out with that pain) he was very nice about it and did not make me feel like a bother. He was able to prescribe me a stronger antibiotic and within hours i picked up from the pharmacy and by the next afternoon i could tell a huge difference. I went back today for the root canal itself and it was just as great of a visit. It was painless, i got to chat with another sweet assistant the whole time and it was a pretty quick visit once he got started. I was actually sad i was done after this! Lol i wish they could be my normal dentist office:( i am so grateful to this office for taking care of me in an emergency situation. I'm now 6ish hours after procedure and i have no pain whatsoever. If the need ever arises i will always return here for any further Endodontic care as well as referring anyone in need. Thank you Dr. Vaughn and staff!
