So, I had my bridgwork done here a few months ago. While my dentist & the staff were great & the…read morebridge came out nice, things began going down hill after those initial visits. I also wanted to point out that my first impression of the actual office, itself,, was not great. The walls were dingy, with bad cartoonish drawings. I'm going to assume that it may have been a children's dentistry, at some point. They also had quite a few pleather chairs that appeared dirty because of a significant amount of peeling. Oddly the worst, from what I saw, was in the actual room I was in. Gross stuff! Sorry, but it made me question the quality & cleanliness of the entire office. The next thing is that, or I assume, they use a call center to book their appointments, Which wouldn't have been a bad thing, if they had access to their actual availability or which dentist & location existing patients, would need to be scheduled at. As I've been booked for a certain time slot, only for it to be canceled the next day because of overbooking. The worst of it, was having to drive all the way there for a scheduled appointment to glue my bridge back on, only to be told that my dentist is no longer there. Then being told I needed to make an appointment at her new office, since she did my bridgework. I mean, they wanted to make sure that everything was good with it. Although no offer was made to go ahead and let them do it. Especially because of the mixup. They need to up their game with communication, transparency & clarification between offices and bookings. It shouldn't be this difficult. Super frustrating, gas isn't exactly cheap over here! Nor is wasting your valued customer's time & money. Do better please!

I received no phone call, no text askng me to reschedule. Really piss poor management and customer service. Requesting reimbursement fee of $100.00 for my time and trouble. Will not accept credit towards services. I want a check, money order, or prepaid VISA credit card.

Many dental offices boast large waiting spaces because many times seeing the dentist feels transactional. Not this place! As someone who has had HIGH DENTAL ANXIETY, I'm super elated that Dr. Ahmed was able to keep me at ease. His bed side manners as well as his charismatic personality are definitely two of the reasons I will keep him as a dentist for as long as he practices. Dr. Ahmed prides himself on being able to do a multitude of dental procedures as well as cosmetic dentistry. Many dentists may send you off to a dental hygienist to get a cleaning, but not this doc. The office staff, both Karen & Edgar are also phenomenal! Let's be real. Outside of how the office looks, customer service matters. Friendly, smiling faces are what you'll find at Gloss Dental when you enter. As someone who has worked in a similar field, I appreciate when it's not just the patients that the front office is friendly with. Both times that I've been to Gloss, I've noticed Karen AND Edgar give the delivery men and ANYONE who walks in to this office 100% respect.

I've had 3 appointments with this dentist out of those 3 they have only seen us once. Why you May…read moreask ? Because the first appointment we show up and there is only one staff member. That member acts very surprised to see us there, she informs us that the whole office is on a lunch break and that she's really not even in charge of the front desk, they just asked her to stay while everyone was on break. Okay odd. She asks if I received a confirmation text or call ? In where I say no. So then after some going back and forth she schedules me for another day, we come back that day and everything goes smooth for the most part. Then I schedule for my next appointment that happens to be on a Tuesday at 11:00am. When I didn't receive a confirmation call i figured I'd call since I didn't want to make the long drive again for them to tell me that the appointment got cancelled. So I call and immediately I could tell something was off. The lady on the phone says "oh that's weird that you would Have an appointment on Tuesday when Tuesday's are just surgery days" I then proceeded to tell her that yea weird because why do I have it on my calendar and why had no one called to cancel my appointment. She just kept saying "that's weird" okay. At the end of the phone call she says that they are actually not taking Medicaid right now because they just got a new provider and they need her to get approved for Medicaid and that it was going to take a very long time. Yea after that I just hung up on her. Not only was my time wasted as I'm a professional who needed to take the time off to take my daughter to the dentist I feel very disrespected. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Unless you're okay with them cancelling your appointments and then gaslighting you

Absolutely do not recommend. While I had no issues with my hygienist (the main reason I kept going-…read morethat now has left), the overall customer service needs serious improvement. On multiple occasions, they used my old insurance despite several conversations confirming my updated information. Scheduling was also frustrating--appointments were frequently double-booked, leading to wait times of over an hour, even when I had the first appointment of the day. The final straw was being told my appointment wasn't confirmed, even though I had received a call and confirmed it. I was told, "We have a virtual assistant and a customer service person, so I'm not sure who you spoke to--they must not have communicated." That level of disorganization is unacceptable. Additionally, the office itself did not appear as clean as it should be and could benefit from a thorough deep cleaning. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Absolutely Unprofessional and Completely Unacceptable…read more Where do I even begin with this place? My first visit was just for a simple cleaning for my child -- nothing special, nothing terrible -- but seeing dead crickets by the front desk should've been the first red flag. I brushed it off as an isolated incident. Big mistake. Next came the orthodontics appointment. I wasn't told until later that their orthodontist travels between locations -- something that would've been helpful to know before scheduling. We arrived 15 minutes early for a 2:30 p.m. appointment, checked in, and then sat. And sat. And sat. We weren't called back until 3:20 p.m. -- nearly an hour later -- because they apparently "skipped us." Not once, but twice. After finally being seen, we discussed the plan, signed the paperwork, and were told we'd need a few extractions before braces could be completed. The orthodontist placed a few brackets that day "to get things started." Now I realize that was probably just to lock us into the payment plan. Fast forward to extraction day -- the day before the appointment, at 3 p.m., the front desk calls to say there's an "insurance issue" and we'd have to reschedule. Are you kidding me? I had spoken with the front desk multiple times in the weeks leading up to this -- including a week and a half prior -- and not once did anyone mention a problem. My daughter is covered under two employer-based dental plans. There is no excuse for this kind of incompetence. Because of their failure to verify insurance properly, we now have to wait another month or more -- because, remember, their orthodontist only comes to this office once a month. That means I'm now paying for two full months of orthodontic treatment when absolutely nothing has been done. And no, four brackets on her front teeth that aren't even connected to anything don't count as "treatment." To make matters worse, when I expressed frustration, the front desk clerk actually said, "Well, at least I called you today and you didn't find out tomorrow morning." As if that somehow makes it acceptable. The total lack of accountability here is astounding. Bottom line: this office is disorganized, unprofessional, and completely careless with both patients and their time. I would never recommend this place for any dental or orthodontic care. Save yourself the frustration -- go somewhere that actually values their patients and knows how to run a practice. Update: now my daughter has been fired as a patient because they completely dropped the ball and had total lack of accountability. But they said it was because of our call with front desk. Ridiculous how we have been treated. This is what you would expect at a place like this but I gave it benefit of the doubt. Steer clear of this place.
