Jerry & Sal's are no longer located in the mall as the mall is condemned. They are now located where Schultz's Deli used to be on the corner across from the Utz Outlet. You can't miss their location with plenty of parking and their digital sign. When you walk in the entrance of the restaurant on the right hand side is a table with a bunch of different photos over the years that almost pay a tribute to the owner and co-owner and family and it really gives you a good perspective as to how they started in business. On the left side of the wall, there is a copy of an old newspaper article which was very interesting to read and a few other photos. 5-Stars is given for how well maintained & clean the inside of the restaurant is and the abundant seating for guests. 5-Stars is also given for presentation of the various pizza they offer in the glass cases as well as a few other items and they also have a glass case featuring what looks to be different types of dinners. Now onto the customer service experience, if I could give 10-Stars instead of 5-Stars I would in a second. When I went up to the counter, there was a young lady who cheerfully greeted me and asked if I had any questions and what I would like to order, I did have a few questions and she was able to give me an answer immediately, and that was extremely helpful and as I sat waiting for my pizza to be finished, I've seen other staff members interact with customers in a very friendly, welcoming and professional manner and let's just say you don't see that too often these days so whatever they're doing there for customer service they're doing it the right way and I applaud them for that. Now let's visit the pizza..... I ordered a large square pizza with extra cheese, pepperoni and mushroom and also one slice of their normal round pizza without any toppings. I am really trying to find a silver lining in the square pizza, but I'm having a hard time and the reason why is the pizza seemed somewhat undercooked regarding the crust in the dough, when we took a few slices out and started to eat them. The base of the dough was finished. It had a real slight browning to it, which is a good sign, and the dough had somewhat of arise in it, but there was a layer in there that it just did not look cooked, and the toppings were on the money and the crust had a crunch to it, which is nice. The sauce or the marinated mushrooms something had somewhat of a spicy bite to it, and I understand that every pizza shop makes their sauce differently and that could be attributed to the past on recipe for many many years ago. But each slice felt sloppy it felt weak and soggy. If that's the words to use for it it wasn't a piece that you would pick up and it would be solid. These pieces drooped over immediately. So this is where I have to give it 3.5-Stars. And onto the slice of pizza, which was plain cheese pizza it seemed OK but it just was not there. Would we go back and try some other food there? Definitely, we will definitely go back and try one of their subs and possibly one of their specialty salads and as far as the pizza goes unfortunately I'm not a fan. read more

Do you want good bread for your sandwiches or pizzas? 100% need to come here. The owner gets the flower from Europe, so it's the best quality flower that's not going to hurt your gut. And then in time and age where people are putting all kinds of random things in your food I fully trust this place to not only give me something delicious, but also give me something that's not going to make me regret it later. We got two different kinds of pizzas, mozzarella sticks and wings. Everything was delicious and hot and the people serving it at the counter was friendly and fast. I didn't get any desserts this time, but the dessert case look like they had some pretty tasty desserts. I have heard that their cannolis are to die for! Also, there was seating inside, so if you wanted to get a pizza and eat inside, this is a place to go. read more

Got to cheese steaks today and I have to say pretty skimpy on the meat. Other than that they we delicious.

Jackie G- I am not sure about these bad reviews I am seeing, every time I go into Jerry and Sal's it is nothing but excellent people and excellent food. Hats off to the ownership for always providing great customer service, tasty food, and overall welcoming experience. I recommend Jerry and Sals to anyone looking for a great place to go eat. read more

Having just been in Manhattan and having several late night and pre-show pizzas it probably taints my review. The pizza by the slice was fairly tasteless. No garlic or onion powder, and the sauce was forgettable. Crust needed more char. And maybe it was slow that day and the pizza sat in the display for 3 hrs untouched until I asked for a slice. If they added some garlic and hint of onion, got some pepperoni with some zing, offered some hot honey drizzle, it might make it to 4 stars read more

I have been here but have never left a review. Today I got an Italian sub. The bread is made in house. The place is a little dated and darker the average. Service was quick to take my order. And prices were within reason for the most part. They do have lunch specials Monday through Friday. Quality of the sub was better than average. At least enough I will come back here for this particular sub. They also have some pasta dishes including lasagna. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Back in the day, this was a great place to get pizza and subs etc. Stopped in today at their new location on Carlisle st. My disappointments were such : Kid behind counter, certainly nice enough but clearly didn't pay attention. I asked for a slice of Sicilian with sausage and a small coke. Paid Colby for my order and he gave me a number for me to take back to a table of my choice and handed me a really long receipt. Admittingly I didn't read the receipt. I mean do read you receipts? I digress. I figured as long as it was, it listed my entire order. Well I only got a slice of just cheese pizza when he brought it to my table. Which brings me to the pizza. Clearly this pizza was not even close to fresh. It was literally tasteless. And no sausage. Being in the pizza business inthe past,i know that if pizza sits out longer that an half hour and gets to ambient temp, you loose all flavorand the crust gets hard. So tasteless, inept employee etc I rate this place a 1. Do better. read more

Saw the new location pop up. I had never been. Said I wanted to try something new.. day before Memorial Day big mistake. Ordered whole gardenia add pepperoni and a half supreme half pepperoni. So $50 for two pizzas after tipping $5. Get home looking forward to it grabbed first slice. Soggy floppy bland tasting. Kids and wife refused to eat it terrible choice. Will not be wasting my money again. read more

Stopped in for a large pizza, half cheese/half bacon. The crust was PERFECT. it had a nice crisp and chew. The cheese, sauce, and bacon had great flavor. The bacon was smoky and enhanced each bite. The employees were friendly and quick to take our order. We chose to dine in and the table was clean. We had a variety of toppings available (garlic, pepper flakes, etc.). read more

Haven't been here for years. Place was clean, service was fast, staff was friendly. Disappointed by the antipasto salad I ordered. It was all iceberg lettuce with the usual cold cuts and four small cherry tomatoes. Although fresh, the iceberg lettuce was only the yellow core of the lettuce head. When I order a salad, I want to see green, preferably romaine lettuce. Very expensive at $10.00. read more

My son and I stopped in after a basketball game. My son had eaten there before and was dying for me to try it. He was right. The pizza was sensational. The service was quick and very friendly. We were able to watch the football game which was a huge bonus. We will definitely return when we are in the area. read more

Loved it. Difficult location but the food was very tasty. Would recommend highly. Cheesesteak was delicious

Pretty good food for the cost. Great subs and pizza! We've eaten there several times now and always good food and good friendly service!

Triple check your order. I told them I ordered the Stromboli and they told me the calzone and Stromboli were the same. Well, I got the ham calzone instead of the cheesesteak Stromboli. Very frustrating. Their food is delicious but they don't get orders correct. read more

Best pizza in the world! Love this place! Wish they had one where I live. I stop here anytime I'm visiting

Best pizza I had in a while. This is a hidden gem that beats and pizza in NY or Chicago. Perfect crust, quality cheese and generous amount in serving. The owner is a nice guy, he gave me a free drink and ranch. I still can't believe how cheap it's chia place with amount of food and quality. read more

Super friendly service, food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. Get the turkey/provolone sub.

Amazing pizza! I've wanted to try this place for YEARS after seeing the retro logo. Finally got to try it. Got a personal pan pizza w/ 1 topping w/ a drink for $7. It was so yummie. Cooked too perfection. read more

Jerry & Sal's Pizza - Personal lunch pizza w/ 1 topping - Pizza Near Me - Hanover, Pennsylvania

Pizza is usually decent but only when asked well done, have had too many times when this place is busy that dough is undercooked. Here is picture of cheesesteak with extra cheese; such a joke, cheese isn't even throughout the sub and barely any. Fries were inedible, wrapped in foil, and beyond soggy. When you eat there they bring fries out after a few minutes then pizza about 15 minutes later. Such a joke you can't get stuff at the same time. read more

Currently our favorite pizza place! Always hot and crispy. They keep it clean and consistent on quality. I dislike that they had the NFL on. One star down! You were at 5 stars until now. read more

For starters, it's the best ny style pizza you'll find in central PA, and I'm from North Jersey--home of the mafia and best pizza and American-Italian food. I've lived in culinary barrens, and that almost always includes pizza. Central PA is one of those barrens as far as pizza goes, but this place has very good pizza, best around. Their homemade bread is amazing, but their garlic bread is very herby but not garlicky. I didn't bother eating it. Alas, their pasta was found very lacking. The sauce tasted jarred, and the meatballs had that formerly frozen spongey texture. I did though enjoy my salad with the house dressing very much. I also tried my husband's cheesesteak which was amazing, although not a classic cheesesteak. Ok in brevity: 1. Definitely go here for pizza and subs--amazing! 2. They're not exactly a pasta place; so that's not worth the order. 3. Great customer service 4. My family has eaten here several times and will return. 5. I only held back a 4th star for the pasta let down and lack of eggplant on the menu. I only reserve 5 stars for my unquestionably top of the line experiences when combined with food and service. 6. Do NOT order the Tiramisu, sour tasting and not as creamy as it should be read more

Jerry & Sal's is a Hanover institution in the Hanover Pizza world. I grew up on this stuff and it has always been one of my favorite pizza's anywhere. I miss the days of seeing Jerry making pizza's and saying hi while I was hanging out at the mall (luckily I'm still not hanging out at the mall). Definitely worth stopping in if you are at the North Hanover Mall. There is also another location at the south end of town. read more

Take it from a lifetime native New Yorker, this is pretty good Pizza. Sicilians and other items were ok too. My only complaint is that the hot subs can get their bread soggy pretty quickly which turns the chicken parmesan sub into something like a wet diaper halfway through. Overall it's worth the trip unless you want to drive out to Antica Napoli Pizza in Gettysburg that's a tad better. read more

Hi! Just popping in to say thanks for letting us add a plain sub roll to our order today. I'm pregnant and most food makes me sick nowadays, but you guys make your sub rolls fresh with pizza dough just like how my late mom used to make them at her pizzeria. It hit the spot! read more

If you don't like this pizza there is something seriously wrong with you. If I'm eating lunch I go with two slices of cheese (gotta eat it while it's way hot for best taste). If I'm drunk or really hungry (wink, wink), I like the vegetable pizza with pepperoni added. Another great feature is their soda. The crushed ice and foam cups make the soda taste so much better. read more

My favorite pizza!!! Love the traditional and the sicilian! Wide menu to please the whole family. Reasonable prices.

Food was cold, nothing spectacular about any of the food.. Owner was rude to employee in front of us. Lack professionalism, treating staff that way will only lose help and customers. Learn to treat people the way they should be treated. read more

When delivering fried food, the fries, poke holes in the box so things don't get soggy, pizza good, I didn't ask for oregano on my cheesesteaks, did not say it had oregano in discription, no tomato when it did say it was included, NO ONE WANTS OREGANO ON ANYTHING THAT IS NOT AN ITALIAN SUB!!!! But thank you for sending ketchup that I asked for! read more

As far as Mall Pizza is concerned, Jerry & Sal's is one of my Favorites. It was our afterschool/afterwork hangout for years. I had alot of fun times there, in the booths and the bathroom, hehe. I am giving 2 stars just for service food is good . The last 2 times I have been here I walked out because I couldn't get waited on. There were 4 people behind the counter just walking around. Not really doing anything other than looking busy. I don't think ill go back st this time. read more

If you want great pizza and live in the Hanover area I would go to Jerry & Sal's. We needed some food after a long night of drinking our fair share of bucket drinks at Howl at the Moon. My roommate and I have eaten J&S many times but we let our out of town guest try it out. The pizza is simple. Its more like NY style, flat, greasy, and sliced big but good flavor. They have two locations with different owners but they both use the same recipes. This has to be one of Hanover's staples when it comes to restaurants. read more

What a great place to get pizza . The pepperoni bread bites were delicious. The pizza is top notch .

Not bad, dough wasn't cooked all the way but still great taste. Little pricey compared to the other top places in hanover. Good pizza
