This is a very busy station due to Amazon traffic. I took my wife's car there for a fill up and car wash. The station is on a very busy corner and the lady in front of me was looking for a free car wash. It's a scam they sit at the kiosk and wait for someone to pull behind them then drive in without paying and wait to see if the next car puts a code in for the wash while waiting. I opened the door to get out and she peeled out. Be careful when using these car washes as it's a new scam to steal your code for a free $10, $12 or $15 wash. It takes all kinds. The station is conveniently located and I know the scammers and can easily spot riff raff. read more

Literally one of the most annoying gas stations I've ever been to. Been coming here for years and the last couple times have been awful. Every time I need to deal with the staff for any reasons just ends up pissing me off. They're so rude and unhelpful. Nothing ever works there- car wash is buggy, bathroom not available. If I could leave zero stars I would. There's no surprise that this place has a 1.8 rating on Yelp. I've had several issues at this car wash where I put my money in and it doesn't work and I've gotta drive through it with nothing happening and then go back inside to get another code. However, today the dryer failed to go off after the wash completed. When I went into address this while I was pumping gas, the attendant Yuri looked at the camera and saw that a car was going through the dryer at the same time as if that makes any difference to me. I said well I can't explain it, but if you want to review the tape, you'll see that it didn't go off for me. She immediately had an attitude and kept repeating it's working, it's working. There were already several people in line before I could even speak to her the first time. Then she proceeds to help three or four other people before calling her manager. This whole process is almost 30 minutes. That she wants to give me a code to run it through, but it has to be done today. As if I've got time for that. I didn't care about the refund since I work close but a code for a later date would've been sufficient. They just wanted to be difficult. This is not the end of this. After I waited 30 minutes behind several other vehicles for the carwash, it stopped working once driver in front of me entered. He had waited a long time and didn't want to lose his place, so he left his car in the wash while he went to get assistance only to return saying that the attendant wouldn't help him. I had already completed payment on the kiosk, but the ca wash didn't start for me when I entered either. By that time, someone had already pulled up behind me to the kiosk. I pulled around to the front of the gas station to speak to the attendant (also losing my place) and he simply said that it doesn't work if you use the kiosk while the car wash is being operated. I told him it wasn't working for the driver in front of me either, but he pointed to the CCTV system and said it was working now. He also pointed out that it wouldn't work for the next driver because he could see that she was using the kiosk while the wash was in use for the driver in front of her. All he could offer me was a replacement ticket for the carwash, but I told him I couldn't wait in line again for another 30 minutes with two kids in the car at dinner time. He said he didn't make the rules, and he already spoke to the manager regarding this issue but then wouldn't give me any contact information. He said he couldn't give out information and I'd have to come back in the morning. I gave him my credit card info to look up the transaction, but he couldn't offer a refund. Even if I didn't have to work in the morning, I don't know that coming back to speak to a manager would be of much use, since there are already several reviews listed on Yelp of customers having the same issue. If the management or owner is already aware of the operational failure of this carwash and haven't resolved it by fixing the problem or updated instructions, then it will be easier for me to simply dispute the charge with my CC company than spend the time driving back to a business that is indifferent to the community it serves. My time is too valuable, and it is a shame that this business will knowingly continue a practice that they KNOW will waste their customers' time. Walked out and went to Arco down the street who took care of me immediately with a smile. Could be the cashier at Shell was standing around for some reason related to guy in front of me, but was not interested in checking with other customers to see if he could do something for anyone. I was looking for a gas station with a car wash attached, and fortunately this one does. The access to the station is pretty decent, but can be tricky getting into the car Waac with the incoming traffic. The front door of the interior access lobby does scrape the concrete, which means you have to push the door with more force and they should fix. I will save this location for future washes. One recommendation is if they could provide a monthly member car wash with a free code for the vacuum/air service, that would encourage people to use it more...kind of like Martin Car wash. read more

I'm not going to pile on here too much, but... My main gripe about this place is there's always an insanely long line for the car wash and it ends up snaking into the street. The full service car wash is only nine dollars and offers the works; tire cleaning, power wash, and rinse n' wax. The wash is ok, but it still tends to leave soap on the windows and the air dryer just pushes it around. Bring a towel for quick spot drying after the wash. If you need a quick wash on the go this place might not be the spot. Long lines and slow washes. Only come here if you've got some time to kill. read more

Your store representative inside the gas station named "Nicholas" was extremely rude to me today and denied assistance in helping me or refunding me for the car wash which did not work. Two cars ahead of me it broke down for a previous customer. Nicholas helped him and the car wash operated per usual. When I entered my information and pulled up, I waited for the car ahead of me like I always do and the machine wouldn't work. I went into the store on foot and asked Nicholas to help. He said it was my fault and refused to help. I went back outside and tried again and it didn't work. I went back inside and he refused to help me or tell me a manager name. He interrupted me and laughed at me. You should strongly consider removing this person from this job position. He has zero customer service and I found his behavior to be discriminating to me as a woman when he gave a man complete service. Got gas and selected option for gold car wash with fill up from pump. Receipt printed with 6 digit code for car wash. Waited 20 minutes in a line to use car wash. Cars continued to file in behind me while waiting for my turn in the car wash. Got up to the terminal for entering code or payment. Vehicle ahead of me had started their wash and was stopped with red lights. I entered my code; showed authorized. Waited until the vehicle in front of me completely exited before proceeding. No green lights, red lights or any lights showed for proceeding. Pulled in , pulled forward, pulled back; nothing. Lady behind me mentioned it doesn't work when code is put in before the car before you is done. Not listed directions on the wall before entering mentioned this. Only a Yellow sign with steps 1,2,3 on how to proceed in the wash. I went inside while my vehicle was inside the wash inoperable. Gas station attendant inside would not issue another code. I asked for refund, would not issue a refund. Just slid a piece of paper and a pen across the counter and told me to fill it out. Where is the convenience in using a car wash that does not give proper instructions, does not give intuitive operation, and gas station attendant punishes people with paperwork to fill out when their car wash operates in this fashion. read more

And he wouldn't give it to me, but he gave it to person behind me who also tried to go through the car wash, but not me. Be careful of the gas you're paying for. The last two times I went here I put 91 octane in my car and it wasn't 91. I have an onboard computer that monitors the octane and it dropped below 91 both times. I filled up at the Mobile off El Toro and Trabuco and the readings went back up to 91 like it's supposed to be. read more

I went to the drive through car wash at this gas station and a sign is posted that specifically says to pay when the car in front of you starts drying. That is what I did but had to wait a few seconds for my turn since the vehicle was a large truck and taking up a lot of room. I drove in and the car was did not turn on. I then had to go in to speak to the attendant and she said I was supposed to wait until the car in front of me was completely dry and out of the car wash. I let her know the signage did not say this and she said, "It's the same thing!" Clearly they have this problem often or they wouldn't have bothered to post a sign, but maybe they should try posting the correct instructions. read more

Terrible customer service and management. While my concern was to do with the connected car wash drive through machine, they were not willing to assist me like they did the 2 customers in front of me with the same problem. Those two customers received a working code to use and went through the car wash, while I was told to call the car wash membership number who could not help me to make it work. However the managers attitude towards it was very negative as if I was causing the problem. I was not and was very polite the 2 times I went in to speak with them after 4 attempts at trying the car wash machine. The manager spoke to the front desk person and said not to give out anymore car wash codes and then stormed out to his back office. I was left with a phone number and made the call but had no luck in getting a car wash today. As a result of both the managers attitude and the EverWash system not working several times this month, I will be cancelling the monthly membership and not visiting this location again. It is not close to any freeway, but this gas station is on the way home for me. Simple convenience keeps me coming to this gas station. The gas prices is on the medium to high range for the area, so you definitely have to do your homework on the gas prices. They take credit card at the pump and don't charge a fee for it, unlike an Arco station. The lanes between pumps are wide enough to maneuver comfortably. There are a lot of pumps which means this gas station is relatively easy and low-stress. But the BIG PLUS of why I frequently come to this station versus other lower price per gallon stations is the car wash. Granted it is an automated self serve car wash, but it is the only one in my area that is convenient. Three Yelp Stars Jeronimo Shell....I will be back! read more

I wish a meteor would crash into this gas station and leave a smoking crater in its place. The pump I pulled up to had a hand-written sign on it saying that the No key was broken and to just wait through the car wash prompt. Ok. But when it prompted me for the zip code it didn't let me input it. I wound up going inside to pay for a fillup. However, it only dispenses $60 worth into my truck and then cut off. Finally I had to go back in to sign the slip. It took me 20 min to get out of there. Is it too much to ask for a gas station in a fancy neighborhood to fix its pumps? read more

I'll NEVER return to this Shell again and don't plan on going to any other She'll unless I had absolutely no choice AND that won't happen. The only reason I came by today was because I had Ralphs rewards points. Basically when you accumulate 200 points, you get $.20 off per gallon. (One less trip to Costco for gas is what I was thinking and saving a little money along the way.) Well that's great until the pump malfunctions and takes your points but doesn't pump gas. I attempted a second transaction and of course since it reduced my point the first time I got nothing. Went in to speak with the cashier Saida and that was a complete waste of breath. Maybe management will understand..NOT!!! Ricardo was worse than Saida. His suggestion were (1) offered a pamphlet about the program I know how it worked dipsh*t that's why I'm here (2) said I probably didn't insert the pump far enough. REALLY?!?! I'm done! This station is not by any major freeways, but that doesn't stop the people from coming. It is normally very crowded around rush hour, but if you can avoid that timing, it is pretty decent. The employees are usually very polite. Convenience gets you 4 stars from me Jeronimo Shell. read more

This is the gas station closest to my home, so i always go here for a fill up. The main complaint I have is the lines here can get extremely LONG! The place seems to always be a parking lot at the pumps. I also have had many instances of panhandlers coming up to me while pumping my gas, which is always a buzz kill. Just let me pump my gas after waiting a long time to get to the pump! It must be that this gas station is landlocked by itself not near any other gas stations or the freeway. Oh well, I will still go here, unless another station opens closer to me! read more

Horrible location. Always busy. The gas station and parking lot setup sucks. I almost get into an accident whenever pulling in or out of this gas station because of it. The pumps never have receipt paper in them, forcing you to go in and out of the store constantly. Not to mention their pumps take FOREVER to do credit and debit card transactions. The attendants are never friendly, and seem annoyed with doing their job. Their cigarettes are ridiculously expensive. Only decent thing is their car wash, but that's always packed too. I start my day with drinking a French vanilla cappuccino on this gas station. The cappuccino is delicious (even it could be cheaper). The store is clean and the atmosphere is very positive here. The manager Jose is very friendly towards the costumers as well his employees. The employees are always in a good mood, they always smile. My overall experience is great. read more

Just stopped by this shell station to run my grandma's car through the drive thru car wash. It's only 6 bucks for the basic wash and I've been here before so I wasn't expecting perfection. The rims look worse than they did when I brought it in. It's like all the dirt just migrated into the crevices. And the hood of the car didn't get that clean. Looks like it's still a bit dirty. (I'm a perfectionist when it comes to this stuff though). But for the most part, the car looks much cleaner than it originally did and it will last until we get a chance to really do a deep thorough cleaning. I'm not complaining for only paying 6 bucks. But beware the dryer time goes by really quick and it didn't fully dry the Toyota Camry (it's not like it's that huge of a car, but the dry time will only work completely on smaller cars). I had a towel in the car to dry those wet areas right after so I wouldn't have water spots. I would go back if I'm in a hurry or in a pinch but this is not going to become the regular car wash place for us. read more

My credit card has gotten hacked at least twice at this station. And, I now believe they are over-charging customers by not regulating their dispensers. I drive a Prius with an 11-gal gas tank. I have driven this car for a number of years and well know the limits of how far I can drive once that light goes on - typically 75-100 miles. And then, I would usually put in 10 to 10-1/2 gal to fill it. The other day, my gas light came on and since I was near this station, I pulled in to fill up. When the light first goes on and I've driven only a few miles, typically, I would put in 8 to 8-1/2 gal. To my surprise, their dispenser said my car took over 10.5 gal. There is no way this was possible. As a result of all the difficulties I've had here - the Ralphs rewards doesn't register, the pumps don't work or are working poorly, etc, etc, I need to stop coming here, even though it is a convenient place to stop.
