Stopped in today at Shell on Rockfield and Lake Forest for fuel and a car wash. The station is always clean and the car wash is newer and well maintained. The fuel prices are still relatively high at $5.39 a gallon plus and the car wash prices are $8, $10 & $12. The truck looks great and the tank if full. Highly recommended read more

Hello, this Shell gas station has a Royal Mart and the Gem Car Wash too. I believe the employees here are very nice, and the car wash works well. Sometimes I do buy lottery tickets here as well. This is also a nice place to visit the mini store and pick up a gallon of milk! read more

This is an ok gas station. I have not been inside the shop yet. I only go for gas because its location is very convenient for me. Exiting the gas station can be a little rough depending on the day and time you go get gas. The station sits on the corner of Trabuco Rd and Lake Forest Dr, so on a busy day, pulling out of it can be a little challenging. I have not used their car wash either, and probably never will, I rather wash it myself (Self-service car wash.) Another thing. If you are like me and you own a car that's on Coilovers or lowering springs or just a low sports car, this may NOT the gas station for you. The entrances and exits are steep, specially the on on Lake Forest Dr. You might be able to get away using the entrance on Trabuco Rd. But it just complicates things. I can only take my SUV here. My lowered car doesn't make it through the entrance lol. But normal high car are mostly fine. Even some normal factory compacts and sedans have to exit with an angle. The ones that don't care, you just hear them scraping as they come out. read more

If you like your clean car being sprayed with soap, AFTER it has been washed, AND you enjoy your vehicle having water spots due to the dryer NOT working...then this is the place for you!!! I went in to complain and the older gentleman inside did not believe me about what his carwash did and would not even go look at it. He instructed Delia to issue me a refund. She refused saying the receipt I was given at the machine was NOT mine. He again told her to issue me a refund. This time she did but she did so while talking about me in Spanish, thinking I didn't understand. She was sadly mistaken when I responded to her in Spanish asking her why she was making fun of me, calling me names AND accusing me of trying to cheat them... This gas station is a real joke!! I came here one early morning for some gas and since it was at the crack of dawn, I figured I go inside and get a protein bar. As I was paying for the protein bar, I wanted cash back, but apparently the cashier denied my cash back request because apparently he didn't have any cash in the register and he also told me that I have to ask for cash back. I don't have to do anything. It's the cashier's job to make sure there's cash available for customers who request cash back. I not only didn't get the cash I requested, I also got charged 20 bucks for a damn protein bar. If you want my honest opinion, Shell should go out of business!! read more

I go here regularly to utilize my Ralph's Rewards which I absolutely LOVE! By shopping at Ralph's and using your club card to get discounts you also earn points to save money on gas at Shell. Today I got 20 cents off per gallon and when using premium in an SVU that's a deal! This place is located directly on the corner of Trabuco and Lake Forest (across the street from Ralph's!). I needed some gas so I decided to go here quickly. Their pumps only use swiping and not RFID, so I cleaned my card after I was done with it. The price was more or less the same as general gas stations in the area so I didn't get much and looked for another gas station. Getting out of the gas station to go in the direction I wanted required going around the back of the building. I had to interact with no humans in this manner. read more

I'm going through chemo therapy and needed gum. I asked my daughter to run in and buy one for me. All I had was a $50 and the cashier told her he didn't have change. Then said are you getting gas? She said no so then he said ya I have no change. So I went in and tried to buy gum and put $3 in gas. He was about to do the transaction and then said wait, are you with that girl? I said yes she is my daughter. He then said oh no change. I asked for manager and he said he is at home on his couch. I said what is your name so I can call? He said he didn't have a name. I took his picture so I would know who to tell the manager he was. He was so unnecessarily rude. read more

If you happen to hit this gas station on a day where the pumps work normally, you should also go buy a lotto ticket inside-- because you are quite lucky. I've come here multiple times because of proximity to home and school as well as Ralphs points. I have brought different vehicles here (both my car and my wife's). On more than one occasion, with each vehicle, the pump just stops after a few gallons (just over 4 today). No matter how much you adjust the nozzle, on a day the pump decides to quit then you may as well leave with your half-full gas tank. By the way, you like that? Notice I said half-FULL gas tank. Even though this Shell station basically bites, I'm still able to keep an optimistic outlook. read more

The gas station is a little nicer than most, definitely nicer than the Mobil station across the street, but it doesn't give free coffee like the Mobil station across the street. Prices here are the same as that Mobil and cheaper than most other gas stations in Lake Forest. read more

On Friday 12/14/2020, after work, I went to the Shell Station located on 21762 Lake Forest Drive Lake Forest Ca 92630, for a car wash. I paid for a deluxe and drove my truck in for the wash. When the wash started it wasn't working properly and it basically sprayed a small spurt of soap and then stopped. I pulled through and went into the Station to tell the woman behind the counter that the car wash was not working. She rolled her eyes at me and said that there were no issues with the car wash. I was immediately taken aback by the horrible display of customer service and asked her why she was rolling her eyes at me. I then repeated that the car wash was not working and asked her to look at my vehicle, at which point she stated that I had driven my truck through the wash too quickly. I told her that wasn't true, both because you don't drive a Dodge Ram truck quickly through anything and because I've been utilizing drive-through car washes for decades and it's not a complicated task. She continued to roll her eyes, tell me I was wrong, and generally escalate the situation, at which point I removed myself from the ridiculous conflict. I have been in the customer service industry for 30 years, many of them in management, and was appalled at how your employee so rudely mishandled and aggravated what should have been a simple, easily handled situation. I've been a Shell customer for many years and cannot believe this behavior would be condoned. read more

I just left this station today (April 6, 2017) after filling up and trying to use the car wash. I have been going to this shell station for over 20 years. I bought a car wash on March 20, 2017 but I didn't wash the car that day. I didn't worry because it says that the code is good for 90 days. Well the code didn't work so I went in to get a new code. The clerk was very rude to me saying that he only believe me 50%. So I asked if he was calling me a liar. He said no but he only believed me 50%.... whatever. So he asks me why I didn't wash the car on March 20th.... I just calmly waited for a new code. He said a couple of other rude things but again I just wanted a new code. He finally gave it to me and I left. Years ago the code didn't work and that clerk just said sorry and gave me a new code. What a jerk! read more

PLEASE avoid this gas station at all costs. There is no service, the cashier's are not helpful and the management is not customer oriented. It has been under construction multiple times and is improperly coned off to accomodate simple gas usage traffic. The general attitude at this station is who needs customer's... seriously???? Went in to get change for the car wash. The jerk behind the counter wouldn't help me out to pay for their car wash because he only had six $5 bills. That why the money is in the register, to give change. Completely ignored me and pretended like I wasn't there. Worst customer service ever.
