I ordered a single-stem orchid for my daughter. However, Peter delivered a much larger, much more valuable double-stem orchid that was fabulous. They had run out of the less expensive option, but instead of calling back to sell me a pricier option, they just treated me to better arrangement. The piece was gorgeous and they were lovely to work with. I will make them my florist as long as my daughter is in their neighborhood. EXCELLENT! read more

Incredibly gorgeous arrangement with pale colors and beautifully put together. The recipients were overwhelmed and thrilled with the arrangement. read more

Beautiful flowers, but delivered very late after several phone calls. They had wrong adress, wrong account number. They eventually got the flowers for my wife's birthday but was aggravation and hassles to get delivery straight. read more

Flowers were arranged with such care and elegance. It made my anniversary so much more special.

Ordered over the phone from CA. Total cost 234. Agree with others it's hard to order without visiting the store, but out of all the shops nearby, this was the only one with photos of flowers I'd like to receive myself. And out of all the orders I have done over the phone/online with many different companies, this is one of the few times I have thought they turned out better than expected. From the recipient: " ... What a lovely surprise from you!!! Thank you for such beautiful flowers!" read more

I ordered roses, and they did not open. I paid for top quality. When I called to complain, I was told that the pink roses the person recommended are not roses that open. Why was I not told that when I ordered them? I will not order again from this florist. read more

I received an orchid as a gift from here. While I've never visited the shop myself, I can tell how much care they put in their plants with their packaging. The orchid was huge and difficult to carry by hand, but they wrapped it in such a way that it wouldn't damage the flowers. They used plastic film, a cardboard box to support the pot base, and some insulation inside to keep the plant warm. As a plant owner, the insulation was a huge plus for me especially since the temperature outside was below freezing. I carried the orchid out on an hour long commute and it wasn't damaged at all! I'm hoping to visit the shop once I have time. Just by the way I received the plant, I can tell the staff is well-versed in plant care! read more

I asked for something neutral, and they created a bouquet that was minimal yet expressive. It said exactly what I couldn't put into words.

This was my third visit to Jerome. They always produce beautiful arrangements. Personable and professional. read more

It's always nerve wracking to order flowers online. But Jerome's did an amazing job! They were simply stunning. And the way they wrapped the box for delivery really completed the look. I ordered the Eliana in the small size and it was the perfect size to celebrate a friend's birthday. I highly recommend this shop! I feel like I won the flower lottery. Too bad they aren't local in Boston. A+ all the way read more

What a spectacular place, I rushed in late as usual in need of a gorgeous bouquet, that had to be tasteful and brilliant and express all the gratitude I felt toward the recipient at the same time, AND I needed it Yesterday and all I had was 60$$$ that's it. They didn't even blink an eye, ma'am what colors would prefer was the only question, and the tan out for a desperately needed cup of coffee, I came back to an exquisite, bouquet? No, arrangement , worthy of praise -on line, which is something new to me. I feel in this post COVID world, businesses need all the recognition they can get, especially if the experience was as as thoughtful an and satisfying as this was. Praises and a big heartfelt thank you, the recipient, by the way will show case them at their place of business as well. read more

Beautiful florist that has been In this location as long as I can remember. I go back twenty years in this neighborhood. Fast friendly service. Airy spacious store. Beautiful arrangements and knowledgeable employees. My questions for today were answered. I wanted to know about Peonies. I was told they will be coming in fresh tomorrow. They are from New Zealand. I was inquiring for a friend. I was not hassled. I thanked the man and exited. My kind of shopping experience short and sweet! There you go Nathalie! Give them a call for prices! read more

Jerome Florist did an amazing job on our wedding on 11/16/19 at the Inn at New Hyde Park. Everything from the centerpieces, bouquets, and chuppah (wedding altar) were so beautiful. Lou was so easy to work with and was a true professional throughout the entire process. We were beyond thrilled with their service! Everything was BEAUTIFUL. 100% recommend them! read more

I can't say enough good things about this florist shop! I've ordered from them a few times both personally and professionally, not only do they create beautiful arrangements but their customer service is great as well. I recently sent birthday flowers to my boss' daughter, and was blown away at how beautiful they were! I will continue using your services in the future and will also recommend you to my friends. A million thanks! read more

Terrible customer service. The employees of this store left my 14-year old, 5'10 child in tears due to aggressive behavior. During the pandemic, she is 100% remote and she has filled her corner of the room with plants. She was looking for a new philodendron and, after window shopping at this store, she got up enough nerve to go inside. A man, who seemed to be the owner, was having a tense conversation on the phone. He noticed my daughter to have made her way to a corner of the shop where she had spotted a small plant that she thought was affordable. He started yelling at her for being in that corner and at his staff for not assisting her. The staff then confronted her in an unnerving manner. At that point, she could only ask for a "green plant" under the pressure of justifying her presence. The staff replied, "We only have color here." Mortified, she ran out of the store and cried in embarrassment the rest of the night. Considering there are many other florists in the city, please give your business to kind humans. This shop is devoid of them choosing instead to berate and bully kids who find respite in greenery. read more

Choosing Jerome Florists was one of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning process. The owner, Peter, and his team are uniquely professional, honest, and creative, and they executed all of my requests/design dreams with precision. I worked with Jerome for well over 6 months to brainstorm final floral choices, arrangement sizes, and to design the most incredible structure for my ceremony. Needless to say, everything turned out absolutely beautifully, without a single flower out of place. The lead designer, Marta, is talented beyond measure and I received what felt like endless compliments on the florals at our wedding. Our NYC venue also complimented Jerome's efficiency and professionalism. If you're looking for unparalleled service and gorgeous flowers, I cannot recommend Jerome Florists highly enough. read more

I went to school in the neighborhood and have walked past Jerome Florists on the way to my bus stop headed to the West Side a million times. Fast forward 20 years and the shop is still there, same owners, surely, but this time I stopped in to buy my mother flowers. Very sweet owner who whipped together a beautiful bouquet worthy of a bride and specific to just giving him her colours of white anfd pink. I had mentioned she loves carnations (and I don't know why fellow New Yorkers hate them - they smell and look lovely) and he said he had none, of course. Missed a star because I just wish there was a bit more selection and the begonias were $30.00 more than just across the park on Amsterdam. He gave me his card and I will call him every time mother gets flowers from me :) read more

I couldn't be happier with this place! I came there one day prior to my boss's birthday with high demands to a bouquet. I needed the bouquet to be simply gorgeous since my boss is a picky lady. This florist is a true gem on the UES. Yes, it can be on the pricier end but, it comes with a guarantee that your recipient will have their breath taken away by the sheer beauty of their flower arrangements. I frequent this florist because I work at Mount Sinai (which is just stone's throw from there) and live nearby. I won't go anywhere else! Everything that comes out of that flower shop has just the right touch of elegance. And the folks who run it are honest too-- I called today to ask for a topiary, they were sold out.. I asked if there were other green plants in the store- and he said "yes, an ivy but it's been here a while and it probably wouldn't be my first choice." The people who work the flowers here are very creative and offer exceptional arrangements for the price. High quality, fresh, and long lasting flowers. Reliable delivery. World class service. Quite simply - The Best. read more
