NEVER USE MORGAN STANLEY! This company is ridiculous, my grandmother passed away over 3 months ago…read more She has/had a substantial stock portfolio with Morgan Stanley. We have been trying to dissolve this account, as it was part of our trust for three months. Everyday we have to call and we're told that we need to sign a different form. They are made us jump through so many hoops! We are trying to grieve and they do not care! This company is stealing our money. And lying to us about what we need to do to clear this up. Never, if you have a choice use this company!!! They will screw over your loved ones at their time of need. They claim it's corporate policies, you can never speak to anyone. When you leave messages they call you back after the market closes, so they do not have to give you your money. You have a lot of choices when investing money, do not choose Morgan Stanley!! I will be (if they let me) closing any accounts with Morgan Stanley and if you are smart you will too! Who knows maybe in a few years they will give you your money back, but wait you have to sign one more form!

After many months of caring for our child we noticed Schwab was "borrowing us" the money and charging us interest. A lot of interest!!!! When we realized this we called and they told us we set the account that way. Why wouldn't they explain this to us. Why would we "borrow" money that is out there for the child's benefit. When we brought it to their attention they said, nothing they can do. We spoke to many people who never called back. Then wrote a letter, no resolution.

I was contacted and pressured into a meeting, during which I believe my personal and business information was used without my clear and informed consent. I was subsequently enrolled in services that I did not knowingly agree to or fully authorize. As a result of what occurred, I felt it was necessary to freeze my bank account, take steps to protect my identity, and file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to formally document my experience. Communication afterward was confusing and inconsistent. When I attempted to get clear answers or resolve the situation, I was passed between representatives and third-party companies without accountability or resolution. In my opinion, the conduct I experienced was deceptive and placed small business owners at significant risk. This situation was stressful, costly, and completely avoidable with honest and transparent business practices. I strongly encourage other small business owners to carefully review every document, ask detailed questions, and proceed with extreme caution before engaging with this company.
