The true reason I cancelled my services is because i was lied to by the sales rep who i sat with an hour with an had down to earth conversation. Felt like disloyalty being lied to in my face. Makes you lose faith in people. To be honest this company is not even real. The support line is handled by someone who answers the phone like hes your homeboy or something. Sales rep Kenneth in Houston, TX is a liar. Tells you something in person and when contract arrives in the mail the agreement is completely different. Your bank info is already in the system so by the time you are able to "cancel" youll be getting a charge. When trying to cancel they will send you a cancellation form and tell you its processing. Whole time they are waiting until your bill due date to charge your account. My advice to this company would be if you were upfront from the jump maybe youd have more consumers of your service. When i met with them, my business was not doing well at all. I had recently invested in a new shop and was moving from mobile mechanics to a physical shop. I needed money and the bank wouldn't help me because of my time in business. The sales person told me that if they could get me approved they could do an advance loan against my processing. Based on how much i was doing he figured it to be able to get me $15-20k. I took a leap of faith and am glad i did. Once the processing was approved and i was set up and processing the rep came through and was able to get me the advance i needed. He also explained how the software and hardware subscription would be covered within how i was saving money. When pressed on that he explained where they make their money and how much they would be making on me and my company. I don't begrudge Synergy from making money as I have markup in my business. Synergy has been a great company to work with. Starting with my local rep who signed me up. He was very clear of everything I would be paying. We were previously paying far too much with square. chase set me up on a program where the customer pays the fees saving me over a thousand dollars a month. The mobile credit card machine and mobile app thats on a subscription is a drop in the bucket after all I am saving.
