I went to Dr. Partrick a few months ago when my former dentist charged me $285 for x-rays he never took. (In fact, he had never once taken x-rays since I'd started seeing him in 2018.) Dr. Partrick was extremely thorough, spent time explaining what my x-rays were telling me, and overall was very informative. And his charge for the x-rays was 1/3 less than what the former dentist charged. Needless to say, I've reported the former dentist to the state's Health Professional Licensing Board, now have a good baseline set of x-rays and look forward to the excellent care I will receive under Dr. Partrick's care. read more

Dr. Partrick is amazing at what he does. I had a tooth that was chipped and caused pain periodically. I thought for sure I would have to get a cap, but he did a filling instead. You wouldn't never know the tooth was chipped by looking at it and it's incredibly smooth. My boyfriend went to another dentist in the building for fillings and within a week, he was feeling pain again. The filling itself was rough and unfinished. I would like to commend Dr. Jeremiah Partrick, DDS for the wonderful and painstakingly effort he put forth to give me the perfect fit for my partial dentures. After a couple months of teeth pulling because of the neglect of a prior dentist, he did several impressions to get it just right and I would recommend him as a skilled and careful dentist. Ok apparently I got filtered -but Dr. Partrick is great. He has personally done cleanings-with comments on my gum health, replaced fillings, and has made and inserted a crown that perfectly matches my teeth in color and function- (I can't tell it's there, and neither can anyone else.) I have recommended him to my wife and kids who were previously terrified of dentisits; several close friends with families, and even to my bosses and work colleagues. Great guy. The singing is quaint and he takes a serious interest in your teeth and never even attempts work that he thinks should be done by a specialist. His i put and advice have kept my teeth in great shape. His staff is excellent too and he does the cleaning and checkups himself too. Highly recommend. I have seen this dr several times. He sings, which is not annoying, it's its its rather amusing and takes my mind off the procedure. He makes jokes- so be prepared. Some are funny and thenSometimes I didnt know if he was kidding. He may seem rude to some. Or you might like him. My last visit I didn't. I think Dr. Partrick is great. I've been going to him for a year, and it's usually a pleasant experience. Dr. Partrick is a very friendly guy who will make conversation while working in your mouth, anything from sports talk to what books he's reading. He sometimes sings along to the music. He really is pleasant and has gotten me to start flossing daily--he used the "gingivitis" tactic too. :) The only reason I don't give him 5 stars is because the office receptionist is somewhat rude. She doesn't have a friendly demeanor at all. Once I made an appointment with her over the phone, and then when I went in, she told me she had no record of the appointment and made me reschedule. From now on, I call to confirm the appointment. However, dealing with the one unfriendly staff member is a small price to pay to have a great dentist. read more

I wasn't a fan of his singing while drilling in to my mouth. It was rather irritating to me. His staff and equipment was nice,I had a good talk with one of his assistants while waiting for Dr.Patrick to come in. Also, each visit is painful and very long about an hour to three hours. Overall, I think Dr. Patrick is decent dentist for this area. I am changing him simply because I can't listen anyone to sing in my ear , while i am experiencing pain in my mouth. read more

I had to get some fillings. Dr. Patrick said it would originally be 3 appointments, which turned into 4. He said that the last appointment would be 30 minutes. I was there over an hour and they wanted to keep me longer, but I left. I don't have all day to sit at the dentist. He also told me my final appointment was all about gum work, but before I knew it, he was putting in a filling, which I feel like is something you should tell someone before you go in there. Honestly, I felt like the multiple appointments and onerous stuff was a ploy to bill my insurance as much as possible. I left my last appointment upset, and he called to apologize, but I'm stilled tiffed. I also never saw anyone else during my four appointments, making me think I was their only patient, which weirds me out. Suffice it to say, I'm looking for a new dentist. read more

I have mixed feelings about Dr. Partrick. I mean, this guy is crazy. But in a funny, smart way. He could be a bit gruff and no-nonsense, but it never rubbed me the wrong way. Also, he would often sing while working. My co-worker, however, had a very bad experience - apparently, he broke one of her teeth while filling a cavity and she had to go elsewhere to get it fixed (which required a false tooth and plenty of $$). I went to Dr Patrick for a few years. Skill wise, he is a good dentist. But his manner of speaking to me was so belittling and hurtful that I eventually went to another dentist. I also observed how sharp tongued he was with his assistant. My stomach was in knots every time I went to see him because I just didn't want to deal with him. He's very amiable (talkative but not obtrusive) , gives you the straight stuff on what he thinks about your dental status (in an easy-to-understand way), and has been the only dentist ever who's gotten me to floss regularly. I found Dr. Partrick on YELP, when I moved to this area and I had to have a root canal and crown. I had the root canal and had to go in search of a dentist to build a crown. Just like the other reviewers indicated- he was great, no pain, listened to my concerns, always sensitive to my schedule, easy to get along with-nice staff. So he finishes the crown, perfectly matched to my tooth color and I am pleased with everything. I promise to get in touch for normal check up- but I never did. Fast forward 3 months, I am at work, my seven year old snaps her tooth in half at 4:30 PM on a Friday afternoon. My wife calls me hysterically asking what to do. So I call Dr. Partrick's office in hopes for advice and to beg for a walk-in appointment, but Dr. Partrick has already left for the weekend. So I explain the problem to one of his nurses, and she takes the initiative to call the dentist. Dr. Partrick calls back immediately and tells me to meet him in his office. So basically he leaves his family, drives back though Friday rush hour traffic - just to fix my daughter's tooth! Super gracious and gentle the whole time- calms my kid and wife down. The process takes 2 hours, he just charges just the insurance co-pay. And requires me to make a follow-up appointment for my kid. Dr. Partrick is amazing. read more

My first dentist in the area was at the DC Dental Spa (you know, the place with all the billboards promising painless dentistry?). Well, that place left much to be desired (an unkempt waiting area that looked like an overstuffed closet, a dental tech who took my x-rays and proceeded to look at them upside down-I had to tell HIM they were upside down, based on where I knew my fillings were!). So, for my next checkup, I decided to look closer to home and I found Dr. Patrick. He is an excellent dentist and his facility is comfortable and professional. Everyone, from the woman at the window who calls to confirm appointments and verifies insurance, to the dental tech, and Dr. Patrick himself, was friendly, professional, and very thorough. Also -- no pain! I have extremely sensitive teeth - dentist appointments normally leave me drenched in sweat from nervousness and pain. Not this time. Everyone let me know exactly what was going on and everyone was responsive if/when they "hit a nerve" that caused pain. Dr. Patrick also was very easy to understand when he explained the status of my teeth (very healthy!!). And he was very patient in explaining to me how to not brush so aggressively (yes, I've been told this a million times, but his explanation, along with his flossing demonstration) may have made me a believer! He also showed me how to floss correctly. No dentist has ever shown me how to floss the way Dr. Patrick did. Great dentist, great staff, great facilities. As long as I'm in the area and he's here, he'll be my dentist! read more

Getting your teeth cleaned is probably never going to be a barrel of laughs, but I have to say that for the first time in my life, I don't dread going to the dentist. Dr. Partrick is awesome. I was referred to Dr. Partrick 4 years ago when I had the first painful symptoms of needing a root canal. He's a straight-shooter, which earned my trust right away. He fully disclosed what were the good and maybe not-so-good aspects about whatever dental procedure options I've had, BEFORE he performed them. I appreciate that characteristic immensely. I have a very sensitive bull "droppings" detector, and have never had a negative reading from Dr. Partrick. And, he's a good guy and a talented dentist. I don't like going to the dentist more than anyone else, but I do feel 100% confident in Dr. Partrick's abilities, and that means the world to me. That's why he's my dentist. read more

I've been going to Dr. Partrick for years and think he is an excellent doctor. I came to him after another dentist had prepared a plan for $5k of dental work for me. I told that to Dr. P and he laughed; my teeth were in great shape. Dr. Patrick always gives me a sense of what to expect down the line, e.g. this tooth is okay for now but don't be surprised if you come back in a year or two and we have to do a crown. He does that so the idea settles in and you're not shocked when it does happen. He is an amiable, honest guy. A doctor of the old world who isn't pushing anything (except maybe flossing!). I went to this guy about 4-5 months ago but forgot to leave a review. This dentist is good at his job but very RUDE! He's the type of guy that rubs you the wrong way. He demands that you not show respect to him by not calling him sir and is really rude about it. His singing was rather irritating to me and I'd rather the doc not ask me questions while they're working in my mouth since I obviously can't reply back. He tried to push other services on me such as getting my wisdom pulled because he felt like it would cause me major problems later on. My worst dental experience ever!! I went to see Dr Partrick for a routine cleaning without any issues, at the end of it he told me that it was time to replace a 4 tooth bridge that I had for long time. I immediately asked him if the teeth holding the bridge would be at risk, he said "NO". However, he broke the tooth! He offered a solution, to do a root canal in order to put a post that would hold the bridge again. When the root canal was done, I asked him how long he thought the post would last. He didn't like me asking questions and lost his temper. He yelled at me and said that "he was tired of putting up with me". He threw his gloves on the floor and left the room. When he came back he put the post and proceeded to prepare the other tooth. I felt a lot of pain, but he didn't believed me! He was stressed and kept adding anesthesia, I started to tear up. He left the room again leaving his assistant to take the temporary bridge mold. After two and a half hours, I was getting ready to leave and he was waiting me at the front desk. He wanted to tell me that we needed to get in an understanding, we both needed to be more patient. The reason being is because he needed to do the procedure all over again, because the new post FELL!!! I left his office crying, without believing what just happened. I was determined not to let him to see or go near my teeth again. I went to see another dentist, and a periodontist, both of them agreed that a post would not hold a bridge at all. Now I need to have very expensive implants. To make matters worse and to my big surprise, yesterday, I received the statement from my insurance company. Dr. Partrick claimed $1,473!! (for breaking my tooth and for an unnecessary root canal!!!) You can't have a conscience to take money from my limited annual dental coverage, and not to consider the huge amount of money that I need from my pocket now in order to restore my teeth like it was before I went to his office, so I can be able to eat normally again !!!!! read more

This is my first review and I thought to write one because Dr. Partrick is awesome. My temporary crown is loose so I have to go back and found the yelp reviews while searching on Google (the loose temp crown is my fault- I was eating everything they told me not to). He's a great guy and does a great job. I would recommend him to anyone- straight forward, small office, everyone knows/respects/remembers you, nice XM radio going on in the background that he does sing to as I saw in a previous post, and he does a great job. He hasn't mentioned gingivitis to me yet so either I have perfect teeth, or he isn't trying to scare everyone. I was disappointed with my appointment with Dr. Partrick. I made a very early morning appointment for a routine cleaning so that I could be into work on time. The appointment took over 2 hours and I was the only one in the office the whole time. As for the actual appointment, the dental hygienist did not seem to listen to my concerns or review my past history and spoke very broken English making for a very tough time communicating my concerns during the appointment. At the end of the appointment, Dr. Partirck just told me to make another appointment, failing to tell me what he found or why I needed another appointment and was very short when I asked for an explanation. Dr. Partrick was supposed to fill a cavity for me, and did, but told me he was finished when there was a huge chunk of filling protruding off of my tooth. He is very hands-on, doing most aspects of routine cleanings himself. When I needed a referral for a graft, he connected me to someone who was also exceptional and did great work. Like other reviewers said, he once showed me the proper way to floss (no use of "gingivitis" or other scare tactics though), and I've been doing so regularly ever since. I saw Dr. Partirick for a routine cleaning after getting new dental insurance. He was okay, though he did do the cleaning himself and was really pushing the xrays despite the fact that I had them 6 mos. prior and brought copies with me. He also was really pushing other services, specifically braces and a gum graft. I just got the feeling that he was really trying to sell me on additional work. I will be returning to my former provider despite the fact that she's out-of-network. read more

My husband and I have been his patients for at least 10 years and have always received excellent care. His early hours are very convenient, and the office has always been clean and nice but is recently upgraded so now it's even better. Dr. Partrick and his staff have always been very professional, knowledgeable and helpful when answering my 1000 and 1 questions. I have been seeing them for the past 5 years now and it's always a relief knowing that even if I don't take care of my teeth as I should (as I am always reminded by Dr. Partrick) they will. I honestly had a very bad experience with a dentist before seeing him and not only did he fix (as much as he could) but he improved my oral health and demonstrated dedication to my health not the insurance or form of payment. I moved out of Arlington 3 years ago and refuse to change dentists just because I trust him and his care. Can't recommend him enough! read more
