I went to see Dr Hsu for a second opinion to confirm I needed major surgery on my gums. As soon as…read moreyou call to make the appointment I was treated like a client. Her front desk is very polite and helpful. When I went in, I was immediately acknowledged with a smile by Jackie at the front desk. The office is chick and modern. Jackie also handled the financial aspect and she is very insightful. Dr Hsu is patient and answered all my questions clearly. She provided important information about the recovery and the future follow ups, I hadn't even thought about asking. I had Dr Hsu do my surgery. She gave me a pain regime that ONLY involved ibuprofen. I was happy that strong pain killers were not provided. I didn't need ibuprofen by the 4th day. Dr Hsu called me the next day after surgery. I was well taken care during this procedure. I went for a follow up in 7 days. Dr Hsu removed the stitches that didn't naturally come out. She once again explained what the future plans were going to be andI was in and out in 30 minutes. All in all, this was a great experience. I highly recommend her.

I've been seeing Dr. Rishika for a few years now due to periodontal disease. She is awesome!! She…read morehas a great "bedside manner" and so does the entire office. My appointments have always been on time. Dr. Rishika cleans my teeth with care and makes sure I'm comfortable. When my gums "were lower", I had to had some shots for numbing to tolerate the teeth cleaning. My gums are better now and no shots are needed. Dr. Rishika also noticed a problem with an implant and advised me to go see my dentist. That was good advice as it needed an antibiotic treatment.

'm a firm believer that a quality practice not only starts with the quality of clinical care but…read morefirst and foremost with competent and quality office staff. What I'm seeing across multiple dental specialties is staff in place that are only task oriented -only there to fill a position and carry out a repetitive task- most times lacking the actual knowledge needed to effectively carryout the task at hand. Needless to say this office staff -at least in the Irving office- is less than competent at best. I won't even get into leading up to the appointment but at the first visit I was met by a young lady who appeared to have assisted with procedure in the back office and presented in the front office to check me in with a surgical mask in place--making it very difficult not only to hear her, but to even attempt to effectively engage in a conversation was difficult due to the mask. I provided my insurance information, primary dentist information, oral surgeons information, a week ahead of time by phone and in the new patient portal link , only for this information not to be reviewed prior to me visit and resulting in me-yes me, having to call the oral surgeons office at check in and have records sent as the insurance was being checked -all during check in. I won't get into that(the insurance) debacle but will caution all patients to know their insurance coverage as most DENTAL offices have attempted to adopt the "trend" of having patients pay services upfront and wait to be reimbursed once they run through insurance- which defeats the purpose of insurance all together. The most disappointing experience was the bed side manner of the Dr. The Dr. mannerisms were condescending and based on assumptions of bad dental compliance and failed to holistically consider other clinical history components..ie age, dental procedures/appliances that can contribute to the decline of oral health. Periodontal surgery can be extremely invasive, sometimes the most invasive surgery is the only appropriate plan of care, however the most invasive doesn't have to be the only plan of care if there are other possible appropriate alternatives. After I inquired about other possible alternatives, I felt dismissed and my concerns felt minimized -where the Dr. concluded my initial assessment by stating that a treatment plan would be developed and sent to insurance -and we go from there... that's it that's all- As I'm leaving normally there's someone at the desk to confirm the conclusion of the appointment so I was unsure whether I needed to stop by the front desk- where there was no one- and my only confirmation was the Dr. passing through the back hall way -where I confirmed that there was nothing additionally needed. I say all of this to say- first to Dental offices- Cheap , trainable office staff-unless properly and competently trained, is not always the best staff and could cost more in the long run. Secondly, to Dr.- respect all patients who voice concerns about their plan of care as its their right check and double check whether the plan of care is best possible plan for their unique situation

I wouldn't go here, came in for a consultation over my bottom right wisdom tooth being impacted…read more Doctor immediately tried to up sale laser plaque removal and suggested I get my other wisdom tooth removed. Didn't offer me a price for what I came in for. But definitely offered what he thought I needed done. If it was up to this office I'd get everything under the sun besides just needing 1 tooth pulled.

****DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS****…read more Firstly, made an appt here for a consultation. I texted AND called ahead to make sure they would transfer any photos and x-rays already taken by my dentist (so they wouldn't try to charge or anything). What happens? I get there and they throw me into the x-ray without informing me what I am doing. Secondly, this guy spends less than 10 minutes looking at my gums (doesn't even use/refer to those x-rays btw) all to give me about a $15k price tag after this brief consult. Next, as the technician who clearly didn't know what she was doing asks me what my budget is? Before any other conversation - what's your budget. THIS PLACE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE PATIENTS. IT IS A MONEY GRAB. Do not waste your gas or time coming here. I promise you will find cheaper options anywhere else. As the tech shows me the cost of everything needed, I literally start crying out of frustration - as I feel I am trying to be taken advantage of. I'm crying. In the office. And no one flinched. I repeat, this place doesn't care about you. Last thing I will say here is that when they gave me the pricing - they decided for me that I would pay for IV sedation (the expensive one) as opposed to a local anesthesia. So essentially me, the client, am the one who has to ASK about the other sedation options. They were not given to me or explained. Screw this place and I will never ever ever ever refer to anyone. I will however tell others to AVOID. 0 stars. Get lost.
