I feel safe when I'm there and I know I'm not being taken advantage of. My only complaint would be the last time I was there, I had a dental hygienist I've never seen before. She was very friendly but very loud. She started yelling my medical history when going over everything and my normal hygienist (who had another patient) never did. I let it go, but then she started cleaning my teeth and OMG she was soooo rough. Again, I was like okay I can get through this but then it got worse. I told her it hurt and she just said it was almost done. I wanted to cry it hurt so bad and when I checked out I told the front ladies about what happened. They just laughed it off and said she was a temp. I'm sorry what?? I said why did I have a temp when my normal hygienist was there and I booked 6 months ago? They said I didn't have anything on my file requesting to "not have a temp". Well, I didn't know that was a thing! So, just make sure you request not to have a temp because they are not there everyday and I was humiliated by the one that helped me.

If I could give Dr. Sanders 10 stars I would. I had read the reviews on the website of Dental Arts…read moreof Frisco, as I was searching for a dentist in the Frisco area because I had broken a tooth, and the only time they had available was a week out. I received a call from her office to indicate they could fit me in the following day. That was a great first impression. During my initial visit I was greeted very professionally and courteous by Eddie along with TK. It just so happened to be my birthday that day and before I left the office, I was given a birthday gift. Great second impression. I came away from that visit feeling optimistic about the next visit for the two crowns that I needed. Now this is where the second set of 5 stars kicks in... I was shocked to learn that prior to the Dr. performing the procedure, that she had already applied the anesthesia to my gums. I even joked with the technician T "Doesn't she have to give me shots first?" She told me, "She did already." My reaction was "WHAT", no way. Dr. Sanders confirmed that she in fact did already administer the numbing agent. I knew right then and there this will be my dentist for life. I've already bragged to my family about her, and they are getting ready to schedule appointments with Dr. Sanders. I fully wholeheartedly recommend this AMAZING dentist for anyone who wants a positive, friendly, inviting, and pain free experience. At one point during the visit, all three (the technician, the Dr. and myself) were laughing. Thank you, Dr. Sanders, for your exceptional work on my teeth, for your professionalism, and for your caring heart. And thank you to your staff as well. I've never said this before with any dentist visit, but I can't wait to see you again real soon.

I am very happy that I found Dental Arts. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming and I was able to get into an appointment within days. They provide efficient state of the art service. My hygienist, Shivangi, was kind and thorough and walked me through everything she did. Dr. Jay took time explaining his assessment and all of my imaging. While making my follow up appointment for a crown, they told me they could get it done that day preventing me from having multiple visits. Dr. Jay was again very thorough and attentive making sure I was at ease throughout the procedure. I was very happy with my service and glad that I found a new dental provider for my family.

That was 10 years ago. Today, I barely remember that extraction, but I do remember that I was never in any pain, the implant procedure was easy and I have never had any problems with that tooth. A few years later our daughter had issues with her adult teeth coming in while wearing braces. I took her to Dr. Chang for advice. He gave us a few options and left it up to us to decide. We decided to wait, the tooth came in, and we didn't need the procedure. I appreciated that there was no pressure. Recently, one of my crowns cracked. Exposure caused the tooth to fracture and it became so painful that I was advised to have it extracted. Needless to say, I called Dr. Chang. Now that I'm re-living this experience, it makes it easier for me to write this review. If you're anything like me, your on the edge of your seat, worried about the process, the cost and the recovery. I hope my review helps you make a decision about Dr. Chang. Dr. Chang agreed that the tooth needed to be extracted AND he remembered me from 10 years ago! Dr. Chang really is knowledgeable, smart, and kind. He will evaluate you and offer options, with no pressure. Lindy sat with me and went over my dental benefits, patient consent forms, answered all my questions, and scheduled my surgery. She was so kind and helpful, even when I called back five times with more questions. I was scheduled in mid-January 2021 for surgery. Once I was sedated, I felt like I counted to ten and woke up. The surgery was that quick. Dr. Chang removed a large molar tooth and did a bone graph. Recovery for me was two days on pain meds/ Tylenol, ate soft food for three days, and then I was fine. My third appointment was in February to remove the stitches. A great big thank you to Kylie, who was very careful and patient in removing those stitches. My fourth appointment was in April, a scan to check the bone graph. Mid-May will be my fifth appointment, surgery for the titanium implant. This is where I am now in this process. The sixth appointment will be a follow-up to ensure that the implant is healing correctly. Then I will wait three months. This allows the implant post to remain firmly anchored in place, as the bone fuses to it over time. Essentially, a titanium implant mimics the function of a natural tooth root. My seventh appointment will be the final step towards getting a tooth. As you can see getting an implant takes time. I started in January and it will be August by the time I'm done. You can trust Dr. Chang and his trained clinicians to get you through this, procrastination isn't worth it. The only thing I can offer outside his office is peace of mind. I trust Dr. Chang and that's why I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Several years ago, I had gone to Dossett Dental in North Dallas for a routine checkup, and they lied to me, saying I had eight cavities. I was completely shocked and upset because I hadn't experienced any pain or problems. Also, I'm obsessive about oral hygiene - I brush my teeth after every meal (even on the go), own a Sonicare, and floss regularly. I had to save money to pay what they wanted to charge, and luckily, during that time I moved to Frisco. Needing a local dentist, I'm so grateful I found Dr. Lee. After examining my mouth, he told me I had ZERO cavities (not even potential ones) and told me my hygiene was spot-on. He even went over the X-rays to show me nothing was amiss. Now I was shocked I had been lied to by Dossett Dental to that extent! I have been with Dr. Lee for almost a decade now and, lo and behold - no problems, no cavities. He's happy to address your concerns but doesn't charge outrageously or try to sell you on anything. Also, the hygienist is very sweet and has a light touch. My mom went in for a deep cleaning and agreed they're true professionals here. Cannot thank or recommend Dr. Lee and his staff enough!

Dr Lee tried to force it in place and drilled what was left of my existing tooth down. Then Dr Lee used more force to place the crown. Finally, Dr Lee gave up and ordered another crown and on third re-order the crown fit. However, with all the force Dr Lee used I developed a very bad tooth ache for a few days. The tooth with the new crown and the tooth next it are still sore after a year. So am thinking this is a permanent problem for me. I cannot use that side of my mouth as before.
