We just moved to north dallas over a year and we have been through two dentists already. Based on this statement alone you might think that I'm very picky and hard to please but we just had an amazing dentist in Austin who took great care of our entire family. Honest, caring and professional. Never ever did I doubt our previous dentist diagnosis or recommendation. And I just wanted to find a dentist like the one we had in Austin but so far they just fell short on so many levels. Either professionalism and courtesy or they are just straight out giving you false diagnosis and wanting to make claims that's outrages. Out of despair I was looking up a local dentist to seek a second opinion as it just didn't feel right. Dr kim looked over the previous dentist recommendation. She throughly checked those teeth and made her own recommendation but to be sure. She asked me to come back to take images of my teeth to start a claim to my insurance. Not pushy at all, no creating fears and bad case scenarios just honest and straightforward diagnosis and recommendation what would be best for the health of my teeth. That's what I was looking for. Someone with experience, knowledge, skills, professionalism and someone who cares. I just can't recommend this office. The Dr makes backhanded comments that I don't appreciate. Cleanings were just eh. Never walked out going wow my teeth feels clean. She's a bit sloppy tbh. Just doesn't take the care needed when performing procedures etc. read more

I love coming here! The staff is amazing and super friendly. The office itself is very clean, modern and updated. After moving to Dallas, I visited other dental clinics that I will not be returning to. I love the service here at Dedicated Dental! Jimmy, at the front desk is very kind and quick to assist with any questions I had. I was referred out for a wisdom tooth and Jimmy was kind enough to give me a website that compares prices at different oral surgeons since I was paying out of pocket for the procedure. Jennifer has to be one of the best hygenists that I've had! She is so gentle and so thorough!!! She takes her time and ensures that she doesn't miss anything. I've had 2 cleanings from Jennifer and both times have been great!! Dr. Kim is super sweet! She takes her time and doesn't make you feel as if she is in a rush. I've had a fantastic experience with Dr. Kim and her team at Dedicated Dental. From the front desk, to the hygienist, dental assistant and dentist, everyone is extremely friendly, competent and professional. The facility is comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated. I've had 4 one hour appointments in the last month, because in addition to x rays and a check up, I was in bad need of a five years overdue cleaning, and had about 9 cavities to fill. Dr. Kim and her hygienist were both very sensitive to my painful gums and teeth as they did their work. I require more local anesthetic than most patients, and Dr. Kim made sure I was sufficiently numbed before beginning work on my cavities. Dr. Kim and her hygienist are also really great about explaining procedures and taking time to answer any questions. They both have a fantastic bedside (chair side?) manner. My husband has some anxiety and fear of dentists, and the whole staff was completely ok with me sitting next to him in the exam room throughout his exam, cleaning, and upcoming root canals. Despite my husband's dentist's office anxiety, he really likes the staff as well, and that's saying something. He's mostly dealt with the hygienist (Jennifer) so far, and he told me he thinks she's an incredibly nice and genuine person (and I completely agree). Having a hygienist who sets my husband at ease makes it about 1000x more likely I'll get him in for regular appointments from here on out. read more

Dr. Kim has been my family's dentist since we moved to Texas 15 years ago. She has been excellent at dealing with all my family's needs through the years, broken teeth from sports injuries, caps, veneers, and all the visits in between. I also have a child that is on the autism spectrum and she has been so patient. He came to her as a fourth grader very apprehensive but she made him feel at ease. He now has no trouble going to the dentist and taking care of his teeth as an adult. We have only experienced the best dental care. I would recommend her without hesitation. read more

Really bad dentist, with bad practices. I was late for my appointment due to busy schedule, so I called them. They said they could only accommodate one of us (had an o=appt for me and my son) and threatened to charge me $75 each for not keeping the appointment. Stay away from this one. I love Dedicated Dental. My daughter, who has weak teeth, has been seeing Dr. Kim for about 3 years now. Dr. Kim is always very compassionate and encouraging towards my daughter. Despite having to have a lot of dental work, my daughter does not complain about seeing the dentist, and looks forward to seeing Dr. Kim and her staff. They are very accommodating when filing insurance claims - making it easy for the patient. I was so excited when Dedicated Dental opened in Allen, and the 40-minute drive is well worth it. The office is modern with a very upbeat staff. "Dedicated Thugs" is a more appropriate name for this practice which does its best to bilk customers out of as much money as possible. I needed work done on few of my teeth which included some fillings, a root canal, and a crown; I discussed these in detail and charges for each with Dr. Susan Kim and her staff during my initial visit since I was paying it all out of pocket and wanted to ensure I have enough money before I start procedures. To my surprise, I was charged nearly double the originally quoted price and was told that it is standard that the quoted prices did not include several things which are needed for the procedures. Since the procedures were already in-progress and I had paid several hundred dollars, I paid the rest to get the work completed. What struck me most was that when I questioned them, I found that all of the things they additionally charged for were something they should have known before they started the work but did not mention. The quality of their work was not the worst or the best I have seen among Dentists. But be aware that Dedicated Dental practice is deceptive and once they have started the procedures, they will continue to raise their prices to bilk as much money as possible from their customers. And customer service seem pretty decent until you have paid some money and started work with them; if afterwards they double their prices and you question them, customer service is non-existent. read more

Be carefuly receiving services at Dedicated Dental at 1212 W Mcdermott Dr, Allen, TX. In my experience, they magically continue to raise the price of services once the work has been started. Despite receiving a quote before the work was started, the price continued to go up even though it was based on existing x-rays which were available at the time of the quote. It is my understanding that it is their regular practice to start the work and then continue to raise the price / add additional work which may easily double / triple the origianl quoted price. read more
