I'm very happy with the service I received from Scotts Garage Door Services. From the beginning,…read morethe experience was professional, straightforward, and stress-free. Scott arrived on time, took the time to carefully inspect each of my 3 garage doors, tracks, motors, etc. and explained what was causing the problems instead of just trying to do a quick fix. Scott repaired each set of garage door tracks and rollers, reinforced the tracks to make the system more secure and stable. All 3 of my doors are made out of thin sheet metal and were tearing at the top, one even had come completely off. He had the tools and supplies to add steel bracing along each of the tops, I am sure they will never tear again. He pointed out that the original installation was pretty shoddy, the things they skipped the way they cut corners, as an example they had installed 3 bolts on each track when there should've been 6. I mean Scott's attention to detail is second to none! He also fixed (programmed) all of my remotes everything is working properly again. I could immediately tell the difference after the repair--the door opens and closes much more smoothly, quietly, and reliably than it did before. What impressed me most was the pride Scott took in his work and made sure everything was functioning correctly before finishing the job. I never felt rushed or pressured, and he answered all of my questions and provided excellent suggestion for maintenance going forward. He is affordable and very trustworthy. I am extremely Happy to recommend Scott and his company, Scotts Garage Door Services! - Jim Washington, Christian Way, Redding, CA

Scott called me to share he had a sooner option than previously scheduled. Yes! After coming over and laying hands on opener (it was beyond repair, at 30 years old!) Scott offered me several options for replacement, including offering to have me buy an opener from a local vendor to save even more than his very reasonable prices, which I did. Scott installed quickly and efficiently. Done! Every thing was perfect, until it quit later that evening, UGH! I left a message with Scott he called me early 8:15am next day (weekday) came over and did troubleshooting for me even though he didn't sell me the opener ( Yes some people still do business like that!) The part had failed, wired garage controller. Scott hung around while I called manufacturer and requested a replacement. WOW is all I can say. If I Ever need garage door service or replacement in the future Scott will be the only call I will make. I cannot say anything about my experience that wasn't A+++

It's incredibly difficult to find someone in Redding who specializes in this type of door work, and…read morewe couldn't be happier with the service we received. He initially came to our home for a free consultation, spent nearly an hour carefully measuring everything, and provided a detailed shopping list. He even continued helping by text when I became overwhelmed by all the options and confused about the measurements. When it was time for the installation, he spent nearly half the day replacing and properly aligning our very heavy door--all on his own and without interrupting us while we worked. Our door and frame had never fully recovered after firefighters had to break through it during a fire, and it had become extremely difficult to open and close. It now works beautifully. He was knowledgeable, personable, funny, patient, and incredibly hardworking. On top of all that, he was extremely reasonable, which felt exceptionally fair considering the consultation, ongoing guidance, and amount of labor involved. We are so grateful to have found him and would highly recommend his services to anyone needing specialized door work.
