I almost never leave reviews, but I had to for this one. I had a quick phone consultation with Kim…read morebeforehand, where she explained she'd first remove my previous Gel X and then assess the condition of my natural nails before deciding on the best next step. I really appreciated how honest and thoughtful she was. I knew then and there she had a lot of integrity and care. Once I arrived, everything felt relaxing and intentional. They're appointment-only, which I loved because it meant my time didn't feel rushed at all (unlike other salons I've been to). It truly felt like protected, one-on-one service. After removing my Gel X, Kim recommended I not do builder gel YET and instead use a strengthening treatment for a few weeks. She didn't push a service just to make money, which says a lot. Also, their tools and cleanliness really stood out. The electric file was super gentle (no burning at all), and everything felt high quality and well cared for. Kim and Kevin were so kind, the space was relaxing, and the espresso was amazing. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and their work. Excited to be back for my gel builder on my natural nail!

She was a bit shifty at first but then settled down and was well behaved afterwards. I love when 2 people work on me at once. It goes faster, especially when I have my dog with me and need to get her out quick. I decided to do something new with my fingers. I got the "glamorous nude" dip and different colors for the tips of the nails. For my feet, I did calluses ($5) though not enough taken off unfortunately and gel (white). It was $72 and $68 respectively. I tipped and gave an extra tip for my pup because they were so patient. Absolutely loved the service. Very clean/neat and spacious location. Love how it's right there. Can't believe it would take me this long to go in. So glad I did ! Now im ready for Bottlerock

I highly recommend Stephanie if you want high quality nail service. I've been to six different nail…read moresalons/spas in Napa, and though some of them were okay, I've had wildly varying quality of service to the point where I was ready to give up on finding a reliable nail artist that I could depend on. I took a chance on visiting Stephanie's in-home studio: not something I had ever done before--and I am really glad I did. This review is for her pedicure services. First, the great things. Stephanie is devoted to impeccable, beautiful work. She is gifted in her handling of difficult cuticles and hard to trim nails, and she treats your feet gently while doing a fabulous job of getting them into tip-top shape. I have a lot of sensitivity and lean toward ingrown nails, and Stephanie's exceptional work prevents any issues from developing. Her artistry and care with color application and design are also exceptional. I bring in an image of a pedicure design I want, and she has been able to execute it every time. When I had gone to other nail artists, I sometimes got sloppy work or an image that hardly resembled what I was looking for. Stephanie works hard to provide what you are looking for. Even better, my nails are in great shape for at least a month--and I don't do gel polish because I don't like how toxic it can be. Every time I go to Stephanie, I know that I will get a really high quality pedicure that will make me happy to look at all month long. Now for some qualifiers. Though these things don't bother me, they might be of concern to some people. Stephanie runs her business out of her apartment in East Napa right off Soscol. She only books one client at a time, so it is very personalized and timely; however, she has small children who are sometimes present and watching TV in a nearby space. Also, something that I personally like but some people may not is that Stephanie is extremely focused on her work and doesn't make much conversation beyond some initial greetings. I like having some peaceful, quiet time while my nails are being done, but for those who go for the social aspects of this service, this may not be the best fit. I will also say that Stephanie books through Gloss Genius, an online booking tool. You don't get a confirmation right away but usually within a few hours. I don't mind the slight delay because 1. I've never had my booking declined and 2. I've never had Stephanie cancel on me once I got a booking confirmation. However, for those folks who want to reserve by phone or want an instant response, this may be an annoyance. I do find that her open times on Gloss Genius have always been accurate. As a note, her prices are comparable to in a shop. For myself, as long as Stephanie continues to work in Napa, I will not go to anyone else. In addition to being highly competent, skilled, and just plan delivering an exceptional product and service, Stephanie is also a very sweet person. I couldn't recommend her more highly.
