    I had the pleasure of working with Jenn for my wedding last fall. My wedding was perfect thanks to her insight and guidance. I was a bride who would get overwhelmed easily and Jenn was always calm and stress free. She even handled my family who became a little intense during planning. We had a couple last minute updates and changes and Jenn helped with everything. She kept me cool under pressure too and took care of the adjustments. She and her team always hand it handled. Also side note, Jenn is really funny and interesting. I wish I could work with her on more things because I truly enjoyed hanging out with her. 10/10 would work with her and her team again. Thank you Jenn and team!

    What can I say about Jenn to put into words how amazing she is!! She helped us have the literal wedding of our dreams and did it all with the best attitude which allowed me to be bride-chilla the whole entire time. Jenn harnessed my wild child tendencies and made it into an authentically us event for all of our friends and family to enjoy. She introduced us to the most amazing vendors and when small issues came up I did not even know until after the fact. SO AMAZING. We continuously hear that it is the best wedding some of our guests have ever been to. Thank you Jenn, I would choose you for my wedding planning 1000 times over.     Jenn is absolutely amazing! I've always been on the fence about getting a wedding coordinator because of the cost, but after reading my gospel, Martha Stewart's Weddings, which stated that hiring a wedding coordinator will pay for itself in the end, I can vouch that is absolutely true. Jenn helped me stay on budget by finding me an incredible photographer for just $2000, that's an insane price. Most photographers of the caliber I hired usually charges around $4000 - $5000. The other way Jenn really helped me saved money is her ability to make beautiful floral arrangements. She's a licensed florist and she will also help you get fresh flowers at wholesale. For the amount of work she did and the amount I spent on flowers (which is minimal if you're looking into florist), she helped me save about another $1,500 with the quality she provided. The whole wedding experience was extremely relaxing. Jenn helped arrange all of the food tastings, vendor meetings, vendor confirmations, and most importantly, any emergency the day/week of the wedding. She probably dealt with a good three through four emergencies the day of the wedding, which I never knew of until after the event. I was so relaxed the week of my wedding, I even had time to make homemade marshmallows as an extra favor at the dessert table. What I really like about Jenn is how thoughtful she is regarding your design aesthetic and vision. She is constantly thinking of ways to add tiny detail to make the day more about you.

    I don't even know where to begin with Jenn. When we first met, I told my husband that we had to hire her and that I knew she was our planner. Upon our first meeting I knew I was right, she was our wedding planner! Jenn knows what she is doing and will do everything in her power to take care of your needs. From the beginning she was honest with us about what it would take to make our wedding what we wanted. This honesty was much needed, I had never planned a wedding and we needed Jenn. Jenn and her team sought out a variety of vendors to go with the theme of our wedding and worked well with the vendors that we had already had. What we most appreciated about Jenn was the care she made sure our vendors took of us. Jenn made sure that our prices, contracts, and everything in between was negotiated. This gave us piece of mind and saved us thousands of dollars in our budget. She will ask the hard questions and get you the best deal. We wanted breakfast for dinner, we wanted it to taste good, we wanted it to feel elegant, and she found someone who could do that for us. We wanted farm tables, we wanted vintage table settings, we wanted eclectic chairs, and she found someone who had that for us. We wanted artistic photos, we wanted our memories captured, and he wanted a drone, with negotiation she made that happen. All of our needs were met and she kept us grounded with our wants, you need that as a bride. On the day of our wedding Jenn and her team put my private estate wedding together seamlessly (if there were hiccups, I had no idea). When it came to the details, Jenn is the woman for the job. Everything that I cared about was taken care of, things that I did not know I cared about where taken care of. Her team did the flowers for our day as well, they were lovely, fresh, and created exactly what we wanted. We had a cereal bar at our reception that was designed by her team as well. It was something that we really wanted and it was put together in such a beautiful and classy way. The entire wedding flowed just as we had planned, I got my farm tables, my husband his drown, and we had our brinner. Thanks to Jenn our wedding was what we finally had hoped for and more. It was a pleasure to have you as our wedding planner. You truly treated us like family though every phone calls, meeting, text, and email. Thank you so much Jenn:)

    After the excitement of getting engaged had settled I knew I was gonna need help to pull of our wedding, especially with my mom living so far away. So I started the search for a wedding planner and from the moment I walked into Jen's home office I knew her team was a match for the style and person we wanted to work with. We worked with Morgan to create our dream wedding and it really was a dream. Every little detail was thought off and executed better than I could have every imagined. Newcastle wedding gardens was transformed into something more beautiful than I could have even pictured and I have Morgan and the JRE to thank for that. If you are looking for an A team who listens , communicates effectively, is there for you for even the silliest and little problems, this is them. You will not regret working with them. They are by far worth every penny. And I will continue to highly recommend them to anyone who is getting married in the Sacramento / Northern California area .

    We first met with Jenn and we instantly loved her! We wanted to explore our options, so we met with a few others, just to be sure. No one could even compare to her. We just didn't get the same comfort from the others we met with as we did with Jenn. She is confident and has a lot of resources. We are so happy we went with Jenn, she was amazing, from start to finish. It was such a pleasure working with her and her team. She was very responsive throughout the year, and was able to calm my nerves many times. She has great ideas and suggestions. I definitely needed help! I had ideas of what I wanted, and she helped make it a reality. She really helped make my Happily Ever After come true. She is absolutely worth every penny! We also used her for floral, and she blew my mind with how gorgeous the bouquets turned out. I've watch others get married, and I saw how stressed the bride and her family, especially the mother, was. And I knew I didn't want any part of that. Jenn made everything a breeze. She let me know when I should be doing what. She helped me keep on budget as much as possible. And gave me options for my budget. She has such a bubbly personality, and you just can't help but fall in love with her instantly. She genuinely cares about you and your wedding and your vision. She set me up with all the amazing vendors, that all did incredible work! I wanted a fairytale wedding, and that's exactly what I got. I couldn't be happier with her. She made all my dreams come true!

The month prior to the party, we met at the site and walked the space to get a visual of where everything was going and all extra details. The day of the grad party, Erika and her assist, Suzy, arrived on time and ready to set up. We had ordered: entrance signage and balloons out front of the venue, five balloon bunches as table toppers, a large gold ring w/ balloons and a cream lounge chair, I even ordered tablecloths for the dining tables from Erika. The balloon gold ring back drop (for the photo ops) was SO adorable, everyone loved it. The table balloon bunches were perfect on the dining tables and the ribbons too, on the bunches were beautiful, many strings of ribbon and bows. It was beyond perfection and made the room so adorable. Erika and Suzy also came back after the party was over and gathered their items and helped tear down the balloons, which I really appreciated. The two ladies go above and beyond. If you are planning a party and are even thinking of decor ideas, reach out to Erika.

The rentals were in perfect condition -- from the chairs to the glassware and linens, everything looked beautiful and matched our vision perfectly. The staffing team was equally incredible. The servers were professional, friendly, and so attentive to our guests' needs. Our only issue was with the bartenders, they were pouring tiny shots and told the mother of the bride no, twice.. otherwise everything was great.     I'm sorry but as much as I've tried to get past this it will always haunt me…read more Sandy was hired by my mother for my wedding August 2, 2025. I wish I could give a better rating but I just can't, had she not taken a back seat approach I would have. I'm sure Sandy will leave something to contradict everything I have written but honestly I just wish she would have been way more professional and not let her feelings affect my big day. I am usually a high rater when I do reviews and most of my other reviews reflect that. I've written many over the years so if I'm writing a review, there's a reason. I'm not going to sit here and draw out a big list so message me if you'd like the 411. The ceremony was pretty good other than the guests being out in the hot sun for 20 minutes , I'll give her that. As for the reception , i didn't know is the videographer didn't have the video montage that all our parents were working with him on and Sandy didn't want my mom to fix it. Sandy was in a bad mood due to this and was pouting and my husband, my mother and I paid the price. She is still upset about things, understandably so. The reception started out good until sunset/golden hour photos. I was given zero instruction for this, there was no communication whatsoever and there should have been. When it was running longer for whatever reason my mom wanted to wrap up the photos yet Sandy said no. Sandy repeatedly didn't listen to my mother even though she paid her and even tipped her at the end. I will admit initially our response was everything was fine but after we sat with it, it just wasn't. Bottom line- time taking photo after photo could have been cut short and I could have gotten to mingle with my guests. Some of them flew from far away to make it to our wedding. I'll never get that back and that saddens me most. I've been told by guests that while they had a decent time, they wish they got to spend time with us. Most did not get any time with us. Edited to add: communication, and delivery should have been better, all of it was severely lacking. Both my husband and I have tried to contact Sandy about our concerns. Not once did she really listen. I wish she would have been professional but she just was not. This is the honest truth of how things turned out. She also trashed my mother and my maid of honor online and would not take down her post until my mom told her that my friend has a disability Why am I writing this now? I'd written something like this a while back ago but decided to take it down, but now I think that some time has passed I can write a version that reads better. So my advice: proceed with caution. There a reason she only has 12 reviews.

Going into the process, we had no idea what we didn't know. Things like vendors, day of logistics, even how our wedding parties would organize themselves on our wedding day was a mystery to us and having Sandy in our corner helped us in a million ways. Her connections in the wedding industry helped us narrow down and select vendors with ease. She secured us a last minute photo booth which ended being a huge highlight of our night. It even rained on our wedding day, right before our outdoor ceremony, but Sandy was on top of everything and organized guests to help dry and reset our venue behind the scenes. Our wedding was amazing and we owe so much of that to Sandy. I dont make many yelp reviews but our experience with Strings & Champagne Events was so positive that I had to log in and recommend this to anyone looking to host an event in the NorCal area. She made the planning process so easy and stress free for us. She worked with our budget and found us affordable vendors who did an amazing job as well. She took our vision and made it a reality. We rented our decor through her which took off the stress of having to deal with disposing of a bunch of wedding decor after the event. The day of the wedding, the decor was absolutely beautiful and she and her team coordinated everything so perfectly that if anything went wrong, no one knew. She seemed very professional, friendly, and helpful that's why me and my now husband decided to hire her...BIG MISTAKE AND BIG WASTE OF MONEY! She charged us $1000 to coordinate our wedding the "Day Of" (Note- the contract states that the "Day Of package" starts 8-6 weeks before the wedding)...Well, our wedding was 3 weeks away and I had to contact her to remind her about my wedding! Once I did that, we set up an appointment to discuss wedding details. Now, the day of the appointment she was few minutes late (which I hated because I had my 3 month old baby with me and I was on a schedule to feed him). Plus, I just hated the fact that she was late! In my opinion wedding coordinators are like real estate agents, they need to arrive before the client does! At the end of the appointment she told me that "everything was on her hands now and that everything would be less stressful for me." Well, complete lies! Vendors were still contacting me and I still had to deal with a lot of stuff. When I asked her if she had contacted all the vendors, she told me she was "too busy" and that she "would do it soon." I mean, my wedding was around the corner and she was "too busy" to do the things I hired for! The day of the rehearsal we were supposed to meet 30 mins before anyone would get there to discuss about the decorations she was going to set up. Well, once again she was LATE! She got there when everyone else did, so we couldn't talk freely. Also, that day she brought her assistant because she had other "things to do," and her assistant took over our rehearsal. I paid her to be there, and she only showed up for 10 mins! The day of the wedding she was there, but from what I heard and saw she did very little. I actually think the venue coordinator did more for us (bringing us food and drinks, making sure we were comfortable, etc) than Grace. Not to mention that my husband told me that at the end of the event, him and his best man (wearing their tuxedos) were cleaning the venue and bridal room because she wasn't doing it! Something we paid for! To end this review, Grace completely disappointed me and my husband. We were not happy with her business and we felt like it was a waste of money. The funny part is that if you go to her instagram page @gracefulgatherings she reposted our wedding video making it seem like she did a great job, when in fact she was the worst vendor we had. So I'm hoping she removes our video from her page because we do not recommend her at all!
