Jenn Robirds Events went above and beyond to plan our dream wedding! We did full service planning for a two-part wedding: ceremony on a ship and reception at a yacht club. We worked closely with Lead Planner Morgan Thompson and shared our vision with her. She kept our ideas in mind, and took our wedding beyond what we imagined! She helped us find our reception venue then nail down our vendors. She took it a step further and helped make our details with invitations, escort display and dinner one-of-a-kind and memorable for our guests! Our friends and family LOVED and commented a lot on our invitations! Many of our guests remarked on how amazing Morgan was as a planner. Our officiant even said she was the best he had ever worked with! There were a lot of moving parts on our wedding day - changing locations, coordinating shuttles, timing out our reception dinner with different courses to make the evening flow - and the wedding went smoothly! There also wasn't a blueprint for a wedding ceremony on a ship, but Morgan created it for us. She made a mock-up of the ship's dimensions to figure out the aisle and seating placement. As a bride there's already a lot to think about on your wedding day, but I felt at ease knowing I was in good hands with Jenn Robirds Events. read more

Jenn and Morgan are the absolute best! They took care of us from start to finish. As working individuals with odd schedules, we went with the Full Service and Planning package. We had multiple goals during the planning process - to make sure the wedding at our expansive venue still felt like us, to make sure our guests had a good time, and to have everything planned to the point where we'd just show up and be present. During the planning process: They worked around our schedules. We would sometimes have to meet after work hours but in between, we would respond via text or email for any quick decisions. They were very receptive to feedback and guided us through decisions that aligned with our budget and design goals. They also attempted to curate and present choices that reflected our personalities - they made consistent efforts to get to know us each step of the way, which helped make our wedding truly feel like ours. They crafted presentations (even these were beautiful!) with options for each vendor, including the costs and their portfolio so that we would be able to make informed decisions They helped us handle all communication and negotiations of pricing with our vendors In the end, we definitely had an A+ team to have the wedding beyond our dreams. I am in awe and filled with immense appreciation and gratitude for what they do. The week of our wedding, my coworkers were surprised that I was so calm. It was an odd feeling as there were no worries to be had and we were just able to focus on making sure our families were getting into town okay. On the day of the wedding, Jenn made sure our tea ceremony was set up and ready to go while Morgan handled set up at the venue. They made sure we were fed and hydrated throughout the day. There were some family issues/hiccups that they took care of for us so gracefully that no one noticed anything was amiss. We were able to mingle and take pictures with our guests without worrying about anything else. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the wedding. Our vendors have even commented on how thorough and thoughtful they were in helping with managing timelines. Our wedding was a week ago and we are still receiving compliments with requests for all our vendors. Overall, if we were to go back in time, we would choose to work with JRE a million times over. read more

I've been putting off writing this review for over 4 months because I truly don't know how to express in words how thankful we were to have Jenn coordinate our wedding. There were many reasons I chose Jenn from the get-go: prior to even booking her, she was already going above and beyond to get in touch with our venue and other vendors I was interested in. Our venue initially told us we could only use a planner, caterer, and DJ from their approved list...but Jenn's experience in the industry and being the "voice" for her brides allowed us to book her as well as other vendors that were not originally on the "approved" list. Being detail-oriented myself, I knew I had picked the right planner when all of my other vendors told me "she is the queen of details" when they found out who our coordinator was! I'm so grateful we had Jenn by our sides throughout the planning process, as she was able to take my ideas and give her recommendations to make things even better (I went from thinking I wanted only white and green florals to having colorful bouquets and arrangements and I'm so glad Jenn helped to change my mind on that one)! She will coordinate with all of your vendors to create timelines, menus, floor plans, and will even make last minute adjustments to ensure everything is perfect. I promise that you will not have to worry about a thing on your wedding day thanks to Jenn and her team! Needless to say, Jenn's work as an event planner and coordinator is exceptional and she is exactly the "queen of details" you want making sure everything is impeccable for your wedding day! read more

Jenn was an invaluable piece to what turned out to be very successful events (Welcome Party and Wedding) - beautiful, well orchestrated, and just plain fun! They knew Tahoe well and that made for smooth sailing with vendors and sites. We received numerous compliments on the festivities down to the level of appreciating the positive attitude and timeliness of the shuttle drivers. And everyone loved the band! Jenn's organization skills, design sense, expertise, attention to detail and well trained staff all shown through. Jenn and team made our daughter and fiancé's celebrations special, and we will always have wonderful memories. Seriously, I think that the wedding night was the most fun I have had at a party since college. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Jenn for my wedding last fall. My wedding was perfect thanks to her insight and guidance. I was a bride who would get overwhelmed easily and Jenn was always calm and stress free. She even handled my family who became a little intense during planning. We had a couple last minute updates and changes and Jenn helped with everything. She kept me cool under pressure too and took care of the adjustments. She and her team always hand it handled. Also side note, Jenn is really funny and interesting. I wish I could work with her on more things because I truly enjoyed hanging out with her. 10/10 would work with her and her team again. Thank you Jenn and team! read more

Where do I even begin...Jenn Robirds is absolutely amazing and I can't thank her enough for the perfect wedding she helped plan for me. When I started the wedding planning process I knew I needed someone to help coordinate to a certain extent. I met with a few planners who just didn't make the cut...they either seemed to lack detail or just didn't have the experience. When I met with Jenn for the first time, I knew after 5 minutes that she was the one. She has a ton of experience with a wide array of weddings and events. After talking with her we settled on a partial planning package because I had already booked some of the larger vendors. From the first day we signed the contract, Jenn was always available via text or email and if she was ever going to be unavailable she would let me know. We had conveniently already booked a photographer and videographer that she had already worked with and she helped me booked hair, makeup, floral, and calligraphy vendors that were amazing. I loved my venue but we needed to rent a lot of things to make it the way I wanted it for the day. The room for dinner could be fairly dark and manly so I wanted to make sure it was elegant and classic. Jenn met us at Celebrations Party Rentals and went through everything that we would need from chargers, to utensils, to tablecloths. She helped the vision come alive right in front of us and the day of, my jaw practically dropped on the day of when I saw the set up. My husband is obsessed with candles and we told her about that one the first meeting. She remembered it, brought it up a few times and there were candles absolutely everywhere the day of which made it beautiful and elegant. The one thing that I think sets Jenn apart from other wedding planners I've talked to is her attention to detail. She does not forget anything, runs everything by you if any changes need to be made, and easily coordinated everything with our vendors. I could go on and on about how amazing Jenn and her team is, so if you are looking for a fantastic wedding planner don't even question it - Jenn Robirds Events is the best! read more

Wow, were we fortunate to hire Jenn Robirds and her entire team 2 years ago! We had no idea how much we were going to truly appreciate Jenn and Morgan's ability to adapt to unexpected regulations and amendments that popped up with vendors and venues. We can confidently say we would not have had the wedding we'd pictured without their help and ability to efficiently multitask. They took so much care in looping us in on necessary conversations and changes and shielding us from the stressful and logistic items that happened behind the scenes. They are a premium events company and you truly get what you pay for. The peace of mind that came along with their confidence and reassurances that our wedding would go off without a hitch and in fact, ended up better than originally planned. Jenn Robirds Events team was worth every penny. (Also, Morgan is an angel sent from Heaven to take away all the stress for my now wife) read more

Jenn is absolutely amazing! I've always been on the fence about getting a wedding coordinator because of the cost, but after reading my gospel, Martha Stewart's Weddings, which stated that hiring a wedding coordinator will pay for itself in the end, I can vouch that is absolutely true. Jenn helped me stay on budget by finding me an incredible photographer for just $2000, that's an insane price. Most photographers of the caliber I hired usually charges around $4000 - $5000. The other way Jenn really helped me saved money is her ability to make beautiful floral arrangements. She's a licensed florist and she will also help you get fresh flowers at wholesale. For the amount of work she did and the amount I spent on flowers (which is minimal if you're looking into florist), she helped me save about another $1,500 with the quality she provided. The whole wedding experience was extremely relaxing. Jenn helped arrange all of the food tastings, vendor meetings, vendor confirmations, and most importantly, any emergency the day/week of the wedding. She probably dealt with a good three through four emergencies the day of the wedding, which I never knew of until after the event. I was so relaxed the week of my wedding, I even had time to make homemade marshmallows as an extra favor at the dessert table. What I really like about Jenn is how thoughtful she is regarding your design aesthetic and vision. She is constantly thinking of ways to add tiny detail to make the day more about you. read more

What can I say about Jenn to put into words how amazing she is!! She helped us have the literal wedding of our dreams and did it all with the best attitude which allowed me to be bride-chilla the whole entire time. Jenn harnessed my wild child tendencies and made it into an authentically us event for all of our friends and family to enjoy. She introduced us to the most amazing vendors and when small issues came up I did not even know until after the fact. SO AMAZING. We continuously hear that it is the best wedding some of our guests have ever been to. Thank you Jenn, I would choose you for my wedding planning 1000 times over. I also have come to see you as a friend over the last year! Love- Paige and Andrew read more

Thank you Google for bringing me to Jenn Robirds. I had talked to two other Sacramento-based wedding planners prior to finding Jenn, but after speaking with her, I knew my search was over. I loved her energy and was eager to book her immediately. I don't even know where to begin to describe what an amazing planner Jenn is. From the start, I told her I wanted someone responsive and she never disappointed. She was always so on top of everything - it's crazy how many clients and weddings she has on her plate yet it felt like she was always giving us her undivided attention. She recommended the best of the best vendors and I am so incredibly happy with each of the ones I booked. Jenn would toss ideas around with me to get a feel of my taste, and I trusted her to run with it. She really takes charge of everything so I never had any worries during the wedding planning process. Jenn handled so much for us - reviewed our contracts, took care of rentals and got us discounts, put together design boards and fancy welcome bags, found us an incredible animal balloon person to entertain the kids, and executed on every thing we wanted - from In and Out delivered to our afterparty to putting hot cheetos in the girl's bathroom. The week leading up to our wedding, and also the day of, I felt zero stress. She had everything under control and our big day went so smoothly, zero hiccups. She has an incredible vision and was so fun to work with. Our wedding was beyond perfect and more than we could've ever imagined. I even had bridesmaids asking Jenn if they could hire her as their wedding planner. Thank you Jenn + team for working so hard to give us our dream wedding! read more

I don't even know where to begin with Jenn. When we first met, I told my husband that we had to hire her and that I knew she was our planner. Upon our first meeting I knew I was right, she was our wedding planner! Jenn knows what she is doing and will do everything in her power to take care of your needs. From the beginning she was honest with us about what it would take to make our wedding what we wanted. This honesty was much needed, I had never planned a wedding and we needed Jenn. Jenn and her team sought out a variety of vendors to go with the theme of our wedding and worked well with the vendors that we had already had. What we most appreciated about Jenn was the care she made sure our vendors took of us. Jenn made sure that our prices, contracts, and everything in between was negotiated. This gave us piece of mind and saved us thousands of dollars in our budget. She will ask the hard questions and get you the best deal. We wanted breakfast for dinner, we wanted it to taste good, we wanted it to feel elegant, and she found someone who could do that for us. We wanted farm tables, we wanted vintage table settings, we wanted eclectic chairs, and she found someone who had that for us. We wanted artistic photos, we wanted our memories captured, and he wanted a drone, with negotiation she made that happen. All of our needs were met and she kept us grounded with our wants, you need that as a bride. On the day of our wedding Jenn and her team put my private estate wedding together seamlessly (if there were hiccups, I had no idea). When it came to the details, Jenn is the woman for the job. Everything that I cared about was taken care of, things that I did not know I cared about where taken care of. Her team did the flowers for our day as well, they were lovely, fresh, and created exactly what we wanted. We had a cereal bar at our reception that was designed by her team as well. It was something that we really wanted and it was put together in such a beautiful and classy way. The entire wedding flowed just as we had planned, I got my farm tables, my husband his drown, and we had our brinner. Thanks to Jenn our wedding was what we finally had hoped for and more. It was a pleasure to have you as our wedding planner. You truly treated us like family though every phone calls, meeting, text, and email. Thank you so much Jenn:) read more

We first met with Jenn and we instantly loved her! We wanted to explore our options, so we met with a few others, just to be sure. No one could even compare to her. We just didn't get the same comfort from the others we met with as we did with Jenn. She is confident and has a lot of resources. We are so happy we went with Jenn, she was amazing, from start to finish. It was such a pleasure working with her and her team. She was very responsive throughout the year, and was able to calm my nerves many times. She has great ideas and suggestions. I definitely needed help! Jenn is nothing short of incredible. I went with her full-service package because I was working and going to school for my B.S. full-time when I started the wedding planning process. She was excellent at every stage, taking time to fully understand what I was looking for before making vendor/ venue recommendations, saving us time and wasted energy. I also used her floral services and literally couldn't have been happier. They turned out PERFECT. I'm the pickiest human alive, but Jenn nailed exactly what I was envisioning. The day-of was flawless. My initial makeup artist no-call no-showed on the morning of my wedding (a bride's worst nightmare), but Jenn has so many connections she had a new makeup team at the venue an hour after she realized the first one flaked (first girl was my choice/ mistake). I never even had time to freak out because the problem was solved before I even knew about it. Jenn made me feel confident and relaxed throughout the entire process, which is crucial when you're planning one of the most important days of your life. My guests are still telling me that ours was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to, and that's a direct reflection of Jenn and her team. I recommend her 100 times out of 100 and am so happy I found her. read more

We can't thank Jenn Robirds enough for the fantastic job she did as our wedding planner! Our wedding was everything we could have dreamed of and so much more, and we owe so much of that to Jenn. We thought that we were just going to want a "day of coordinator" since I knew I was going to be very hands on with planning the wedding, but after meeting with Jenn and reviewing her packages, we decided to go with her partial planning option. I am so glad we did! We live in LA, but our wedding was in Sacramento at my grandparents' house, which made finding the right vendors a daunting and frustrating task. Once we found Jenn, everything got so much easier! She found us the perfect caterer, DJ, rentals, lighting, and transportation. She helped us negotiate with each of these vendors to get exactly what we were looking for, and was so helpful and patient with my many, many questions along the way. She was so thorough throughout this process, making sure we had everything we needed in place for our big day. In addition to being our planner, Jenn did all of the flowers for our wedding and she did an absolutely amazing job! Our flowers were STUNNING and so abundant! There were flowers and greenery absolutely everywhere all over our venue. My bouquet was so lush and gorgeous I didn't want to put it down. Jenn was able to get all of our flowers at wholesale cost, and she passed her savings down to us. This allowed us to get so much more bang for our buck, which contributed in a big way to the overall ambience of our venue space. I honestly don't know how she did it all, but she did a phenomenal job!! On the Tuesday before our Saturday wedding, the weather report had taken a turn for the worse and we began to realize that we were going to have to make some major changes to our plan. Jenn sprang into action and on Wednesday morning she was at our venue with a rental company measuring the space for a tent. She told us not to worry, that she would make everything look like we had planned it that way all along, and she absolutely delivered on that! The new plan that she came with turned out even better than our original plan. The tent she rented was actually really beautiful, clear top with a really cool chandelier. And while we didn't end up needing it for rain, it was a really nice addition to our space. I could go on and on about Jenn and how amazing she is. She is incredibly professional, calm, straightforward, super creative and talented, and a fantastic problem solver. On the day of our wedding, we didn't have to worry about a thing, and our families could relax as well and enjoy the day, which was very important to us. Every detail of our wedding was executed to perfection. Jenn has a fantastic eye, and did such a great job setting up our space.
