Dr. Hiroshige is the dentist to go to in Gardena and the South Bay!!!!!! Parking is super convenient and he has all the latest technology. The XRay tech was super nice and made sure I was comfortable with my X Rays. They took both an XRay and a 3D photo of my bite. Luckily I had no cavities but i needed a very deep cleaning! Dr. Grace worked on my teeth for a good hour. She took her time and was plugging that tartar away from my teeth. Im so grateful for her and her expertise! After the cleaning Dr. Stephen explained my crowded teeth and the consequences if it was not fixed. I took the advice and am getting them corrected. Overall super happy I found a new dentist!

One said the procedure could not be done and recommended a root canl specialist, while the other explained that the treatment would be too complex and would require three separate visits. Dr. Stephen Hiroshige carefully evaluated my case and personally completed the root canal treatment. The entire procedure was virtually painless, and I felt completely at ease throughout. I can agree with those comments that say he's absolutely great in every aspect he's gentle, understanding, and doesn't push procedures you don't need like others do. Almost every time I've gone to him for over 10 years he's been the best with all my dental needs as well as my families. As a small practice I understand why he doesn't take any new clients cause his hours and his family needs are important and I understand that and respect that. When it comes to the front office it can be a bit frustrating & upsetting at times when phones aren't answered during work hrs or when appointments are canceled so last minute. I understand there are emergencies but contacting patients is important as well because they stop what they do to be there on time and part of customer service is communicating that. I've had pretty bad pain these past few days on a top right molar that I'm sure is going to be a Root Canal but I haven't been able to get a hold of anybody. I've called when they just open and have had to come in person during their work hrs and they are closed. No sign as a warning for patients. I understand the holidays are coming and at times they do close but I feel posting it in their front door or something would be the professional thing to do or The Staff taking care of that but at times it seems they don't care. The hours they have on their Yelp doesn't match in reality. I've tried calling several times and it's the same recording since we started coming 10 years ago it rings 2-3 times and then voicemail that It feels they never get to. I don't think I'm asking for a lot to be in the loop and know they will be closed from this date to further noice if that's the case. Maybe a new recording would be great it takes a few minutes to make one that sounds friendly and a bit more professional in my defense. The staff have always been friendly and courteous, but back around 2023-2024 it felt sometimes like this came at the cost of service and speed; there were several times that I would check in at my appointed time, but not be taken back until 30 minutes later, and then STILL not see the practitioner for another 45-60 minutes after that. However, over the last year those have all seemed to improve greatly. My last few appointments were either taken care of swiftly - or, in cases where they were overwhelmed or running too far behind, they were quick to discuss with me about alternatives and reschedule as needed rather than leave me waiting. My own appointment today involved an additional procedure on top of the routine cleaning, but the entire process (as well as X-Rays) were done in just under 2 hours. This place has been my go-to for dental checkups and work for well over a decade now, through both the good and the bad on both sides... and right now, I can say with confidence that it's sitting on the good side of service and efficiency.

After seeing the dentist they left me in a dental chair for over 2 1/2 hours with no checking in. I had to get back to work so I left without a word to anyone and never went back. Because it is close to my house and considering how long it has been, I decided to try it again. First impression, the girls in the office sit around and talk, very unprofessional. My appointment was at 2pm for a cleaning. It took them over 2 1/2 hours to confirm my insurance, so I was then told that it was too late to clean my teeth and I needed to reschedule. The dentist came in looked at the x-rays and spoke to the assistant, but never had a talk with me...rude. She recommended a tooth guard, which I didn't need and cancelled. On my second appointment I sit in the dental chair an hour before they come in. They tell me that I am there to talk to the dentist about a mouth guard and still no cleaning was done. They charged me a fee that I later found out was covered by my insurance. I carry two insurances to reduce out of pocket. When I explained to her that my insurance covered what they charged me for, she explained that she was only able to confirm one of my insurances since they have an old system and it can only handle one insurance per person. Funny, it took 2 hours to confirm one insurance. Never even mentioned to me that they only confirmed one insurance. Not to mention that they have a bad attitude and could use customer service training.
