Upon going to the sister store in Downtown Freehold, I was told the original store in Colts Neck had an even extensive array of frames to choose from. After visiting, I can truly say, both these stores have a wide variety of glasses to suit everyone's personal style. I found several I fell in love with. After trying them all on, thanks to the patience of the sales associates, I made my selection. Payment is quite easy. They honor Apple Pay, Venmo, and credit card. Note: They do have an optometrist should you need one for an examination but I didn't use them so I cannot speak about that service. read more

I went to Cohen's optical at their Freehold location for years. Earlier this year they closed and Jemm Optical bought the place. Today, they had the temerity to send me an email "reminding" me that it was time for my annual appointment. At no time did I authorize them to take over my files and I consider their action an invasion of privacy at best. I would never consider going to a place that brazen. You shouldn't either. read more

If I could give this place 0 I wouldn't hesitate. The Dr examining my 9 year old daughters eyes was absolutely wonderful warm and caring not to mention thorough. The owner Elizabeth on the other hand was nothing but useless. We were seen in October and we have yet to get her glasses, no one even gave us a call to say they have not arrived yet nor any answer as to why it is taking over a month to process an order for a childs glasses. I took it upon myself to call Davids Vision and they were more i formative and told me that the frames were never sent over to them. This is a month after her eye exam! This place is a joke and don't waste your time money or nerves on this hell hole. read more

Great-looking glasses boutique that mainly offers a selection of fantastic high-end brands. The staff is very friendly and professional, and does make sure you leave happy. It is very well-lit inside so most frames will look great on you, ha. But I did end up with a pair that was practically exactly what I was looking for, and I really enjoy the frames I ended up with which was the first choice they recommended. There was a minor issue that they offered to rectify but it was an insignificant problem -- if I had known when I purchased that they'd be fitting the same pair with my lenses I would've pointed out that the demo pair was slightly marred, but I received wonderful service and I ended up being satisfied with the frames regardless so it ended up being a non-issue. I redeemed a Groupon for eye exam and eye glasses for my daughter on 4/7/17. Placed a call, staff was pleasantly nice. was given an appt right away within 3 days. Arrived at the optical boutique. Place is nice, clean, and well lit. All types of brand name glasses. Opthomalogist was pleasant, informative and patient with my 8 yr old daughter. my daughter was scared at first but after being explained step by step what she needed to do. Ordered glasses and was told it would be available in 3 days. Long story short they were not ready on the date promised but was given percentage off the second pair that we purchased. Only thing that needs to improve is they need to call the customer more than once and not assume that we received the message the first time. Other than that I highly recommend this place. read more

Got a groupon for an exam and credit for glasses. Called the office to get an appointment and was offered only 2 days for the entire month. 2 days in an entire month?...if they were that busy, why would they need to offer a groupon? Since this place is close to work, i was thinking a weekday morning or evening...but they only had 1 week day for the entire month. They tried to get foot traffic by putting out a groupon, but the optometrist can't seem to handle anything more than 1 person a week. read more
