The best pair of glasses and most comfortable. I had a problem seeing out of my glasses and the doctor here was able to adjust my prescription that another place gave me wrong. I highly recommend this place for eye exams and glasses. read more

Upon going to the sister store in Downtown Freehold, I was told the original store in Colts Neck had an even extensive array of frames to choose from. After visiting, I can truly say, both these stores have a wide variety of glasses to suit everyone's personal style. I found several I fell in love with. After trying them all on, thanks to the patience of the sales associates, I made my selection. Payment is quite easy. They honor Apple Pay, Venmo, and credit card. Note: They do have an optometrist should you need one for an examination but I didn't use them so I cannot speak about that service. read more

I went to Cohen's optical at their Freehold location for years. Earlier this year they closed and Jemm Optical bought the place. Today, they had the temerity to send me an email "reminding" me that it was time for my annual appointment. At no time did I authorize them to take over my files and I consider their action an invasion of privacy at best. I would never consider going to a place that brazen. You shouldn't either. read more

So, I've been wearing my new glasses for about a week now, and I totally enjoy wearing them. I see great with them. They fit so well and they're so comfortable, I forget that I'm even wearing them, only to be reminded when someone compliments me on them--which is happening a lot. Every one asks me where I got them -- I tell them Jemm Optical Boutique in Colts Neck. Wearing glasses for over forty years, you get exposed to quite a variety of optical businesses. I have to say, I had an exceptionally wonderful experience at Jemm Optical Boutique. The doctor there is great. Not only is he highly professional, but also incredibly patient and attentive. He took the time to thoroughly explain the examination process and my eye health, which put me at ease. His friendly demeanor made the whole experience pleasant. I highly recommend him for anyone seeking a knowledgeable and kind eye doctor who truly cares about their patients' well-being. The manager at the optical store, Rudy, goes above and beyond in every aspect. His dedication to customer satisfaction is truly exceptional. He took the time to understand my unique needs and preferences. He was friendly, patient, and addressed all of my questions and concerns. It was a real pleasure to be helped by him. Elizabeth, the owner of Jemm Optical, is fantastic at what she does. She knows a lot about eyewear and is really helpful. She explained my options in the type of lenses that would best fit my needs. She made sure the frames were comfortable and looked great on me. She's a friendly and caring person, and it's obvious she loves her job. If you're looking for beautiful eyeglasses and a friendly face to help you pick them, Elizabeth is the one to see. These are really wonderful people. Their personalized approach makes this optical shop an outstanding place for eye care and eye wear needs. They set a high standard in their industry. There's not enough stars to show how much I appreciate them. It's not the place, but the people who create a wonderful experience. The doctor, Rudy and Elizabeth made mine great and I'll be coming back for more. Thank you!!! Jemm Optical read more

I tagged along, not planning on getting anything and walked out with two unique and absolutely gorgeous pairs of sunglasses. And I usually have a hard time finding something that suits me. Unlike a lot of other eyewear stores that carry the same brands, models and shapes, this place had me want to buy everything - so unique. One pair I got by CocoSong is handmade with elements of dried flowers - so pretty. This boutique has a lot of frames that would highlight your personality and fashion style. And I love that! Rudy is also a gem: patient, knowledgeable and he will help you find YOUR pair. I will be coming back for MORE. read more

If I could give this place 0 I wouldn't hesitate. The Dr examining my 9 year old daughters eyes was absolutely wonderful warm and caring not to mention thorough. The owner Elizabeth on the other hand was nothing but useless. We were seen in October and we have yet to get her glasses, no one even gave us a call to say they have not arrived yet nor any answer as to why it is taking over a month to process an order for a childs glasses. I took it upon myself to call Davids Vision and they were more i formative and told me that the frames were never sent over to them. This is a month after her eye exam! This place is a joke and don't waste your time money or nerves on this hell hole. read more

Great-looking glasses boutique that mainly offers a selection of fantastic high-end brands. The staff is very friendly and professional, and does make sure you leave happy. It is very well-lit inside so most frames will look great on you, ha. But I did end up with a pair that was practically exactly what I was looking for, and I really enjoy the frames I ended up with which was the first choice they recommended. There was a minor issue that they offered to rectify but it was an insignificant problem -- if I had known when I purchased that they'd be fitting the same pair with my lenses I would've pointed out that the demo pair was slightly marred, but I received wonderful service and I ended up being satisfied with the frames regardless so it ended up being a non-issue. Come here for an experience superior to the Visionworks of the world by purchasing in a high-end boutique from a selection of gorgeous frames aided by a helpful staff. read more

Huge selection of sunglasses - I spent about 30 minutes in the store trying on many different pairs and finding ones that I truly liked. Atmosphere was great and made me want to stay awhile. The staff was attentive and knowledgable, helping me find exactly what I wanted. I'll definitely be coming back for future glasses purchases. TL;DR: Great atmosphere, selection, and staff. Prices are some of the best in the area. Definitely recommend it. read more

What a friendly place!!! I needed help with replacing lens and the woman who works there is so kind!!!

I redeemed a Groupon for eye exam and eye glasses for my daughter on 4/7/17. Placed a call, staff was pleasantly nice. was given an appt right away within 3 days. Arrived at the optical boutique. Place is nice, clean, and well lit. All types of brand name glasses. Opthomalogist was pleasant, informative and patient with my 8 yr old daughter. my daughter was scared at first but after being explained step by step what she needed to do. Ordered glasses and was told it would be available in 3 days. Long story short they were not ready on the date promised but was given percentage off the second pair that we purchased. Only thing that needs to improve is they need to call the customer more than once and not assume that we received the message the first time. Other than that I highly recommend this place. read more

Got a groupon for an exam and credit for glasses. Called the office to get an appointment and was offered only 2 days for the entire month. 2 days in an entire month?...if they were that busy, why would they need to offer a groupon? Since this place is close to work, i was thinking a weekday morning or evening...but they only had 1 week day for the entire month. They tried to get foot traffic by putting out a groupon, but the optometrist can't seem to handle anything more than 1 person a week. read more

I was looking around for Enchroma lenses. Jemm Opictal Boutique is the only place in NJ that has them. They are reasonable priced. Way cheaper and made faster then buying from Enchroma direct. They let you wear colorblind glasses before you buy them to see if they work for you. I put those Enchroma glasse on for the first time, it was like the movie the wizzard of oz when black and white turns to color. Amazing! I was colorblind my whole life until I put those colorblind glasses on. I have Deutan color blindness. Its amazing seeing a green stop light. I could not believe how dull red was. Now red is bright. Thank you Jemm Opictal Boutique. read more
