I'm writing about 359-STF903AK Aluminum Performance Radiator that I bought from Jeg's in late June of 2021. I just opened the box yesterday, and was impressed with the quality of the radiator as manufactured. However, it arrived damaged. When I opened the box it looked as though it had been roughly treated with many bent fins, and one tube distorted and pushed in. It still holds water but I don't know how it'll hold up with heat, pressure, and the vibrations that will follow when I get it up and running. I decided not to return it as it would be a serious pain in the ass to return. but I'm unhappy. Horrible customer service. I ordered shocks for my truck and they have now sent me the wrong item twice. The first order they sent me 4 front shocks, I had called them to get the part numbers before ordering but they still charged me to return the items. The second order has the correct part number on the packing list but the shocks are not for my truck at all, after calling the manufacturer I found out Jegs sent me shocks for a car. I called today to return them and was told I would have to pay gain to return them. I have since called the manufacturer back and asked them to exchange to shocks for me. I've been building a 1970 Chevy El Camino with a 632 big block with a 4l80e transmission and recently had to replace said transmission doing so I decided to go with Jegs. I bought an FTI 4.5 stage 400 turbo transmission and they gave me a suggestion of a boss hog Torque Converter after I told him that I needed a 3800 stall they said this is the Torque Converter I needed. I went with it installed it and for some reason my car drives like I'm dragging an anchor doesn't feel like it has a power at the dump my 800 hp 632 drop down to 400 hp because the torque locks up at 5000 RPM. I now have to remove the transmission and replace the torque converter again and they're telling me that they can't exchange Torque Converter because it's been three months. Those of us who are working on these cars that are specialized don't have money like other people that are able to do it instantly and be able to return it because it's wrong. I have to save money and it takes a while so now I'm out of warranty and stuck with something that I paid money for And they're not wanting to do anything for me. I have to say that James over at JEGS definitely took care of me and made things right. I received all but two of the items in my order on Sunday. Three days after placing the order! That is fast! The other two items are on backorder with a mid-June ship/delivery date right now. The quality of the items I have received is excellent and I look forward to receiving the other two items as soon as they are available. If the first customer service representative I contacted about this would have responded the way James did, there never would have been a negative review. I read many reviews back in December, 2021. They were selling a generator for about $20 less than the nearest competitor, but who were they? Like many readers who visit here, I wanted to learn more before I risked making a purchase. From what I'd read, many recent complaints stemmed from shipping, specialty items, and service. The first two are somewhat understandable, especially because of Covid-19. There is no excuse for the poor customer service as reported by so many. I read, with interest, the problems a customer had with a failed transmission. I don't have JEGs version, but a warranty should have covered all the expenses mentioned. I'd be furious too , if the seller didn't make it right. However, the customer who expected a refund in advance~what were you smoking? I did take some risk by making my purchase. To their credit, my generator was shipped within a day. The Friday delivery was delayed by Fedex (hate their service), only to be left in my driveway after 9pm on a Sunday night (sneaky). I received an email, after the delivery, from JEGs customer service, which was appreciated. I'm hoping they've hired a PR person to improve their image and service. In my case, my experience was totally positive. It would be helpful to ask questions about JEGs return policy and warranty before making a purchase. We have been building an impala and have attempted to buy parts through Jegs close to 10 times. Each time there are different issues most having to deal with them billing us for some thing that we canceled and then not refunding the money for a very long time. Every time we've called to talk to somebody they are rude inconsiderate and don't care about their customers. We've had to reverse three separate purchases with them, and each time there was a waiting period to have the money returned our bank. This most recent purchase was for a part and after we bought it, we were told that it wouldn't arrive until January 2024 which is laughable that they allowed their customer to purchase a part without telling us we'd have to wait a year for it. We called immediately, and the guy told us thats standard, and that they are the only company that carries that part so we didn't have an option. Obviously we canceled as we can't wait to finish our project until next year. He told us emphatically that we would not be charged for the part and that it would never even come out of our bank account. Lo and behold the next day the money has been taken out of our bank account. We call to try to resolve it and see what's going on and they transfer us to two different people who both don't give a shit about our situation. They don't keep notes on all of the purchases and interactions we've had with them. They don't communicate, and they are crooks just trying to make money and get the money out of peoples banks. The lady we spoke to basically told us we are shit out of luck and that there's nothing they can do for us, and we have a waiting period for the money to go back into our bank account of 3 to 5 days. When we were told by a Jegs rep on the phone that we'd never be charged to begin with. We keep trying to order parts through them because they have a lot of stuff but in reality, it's all third-party vendors. They don't actually have the parts. They are the middleman who are up charging and making money. After the Jegs representative told us that they were the only company that had the parts we researched and found Raybuck to have the same parts a plethora of them in addition to a couple other distributors. These people do not care about their customers and it's tacky and rude. Obviously we're not going to buy any more parts through them but we need other people to know what a pain in the ass it is to deal with these people, and they shouldn't get any of our business. read more

I placed an order with jegs at 9pm ET. I called within an hour and a half to ask them to change address because the package would be stolen from my porch since I am street facing. They told me I can't because package is already shipped. I asked for the tracking since it was "shipped". They said they don't have it. How cannot be shipped and they don't have tracking? I call bs on that... I told them again there is a high probability the package would be stolen if it is dropped on my porch. They didn't care. I asked them if the package is insured. They said if the package shows "delivered", then stolen after, they are not responsible for it and I would need to file it with my home owners insurance. No willingness to help whatsoever. Called them and they said to take it out and send it back so I had to pay another $750 to get it taken out all because their product was junk. Absolutely the WORST online company out there!!! How, as an auto parts company do you NOT offer "free" returns or low cost returns. I ordered a WeatherTech floor mat, it didn't fit my truck. The "online" return portal wouldn't work for me (especially since it said the return label via FedEx would be cheaper through the online portal), so I called TWICE and remained on hold for over 1 1/2 hours each time! Never talked to an agent, even my inquiries on line went unanswered. Finally I decided to call the actual store in Ohio and a gentlemen said, I will forward you to customer service, people get faster service that way....in less than 10 minutes I was talking to customer service and she said "There is no discount online for the return shipping" REALLY!!???!! I ordered Coker white wall tires 11-28-2020 (Order #83177248), was told a drop ship date of 1-8-2021. No tires or communication from Jegs. Contacted them, was told there was a delay at Coker and it will be shipped 1-30-2021, again no tire or update, contacted a third time, was given a third ship date of 3-30-2021. 4 months to wait for tires is unreasonable. Contacted 2-3-2021 to cancel order and ask for a refund, was told 24-72 hours for refund to be issued. Again, no refund, or communication. Called them again 2-10-2021, was told they had not received a respond from Coker about canceling the order and that it would be another 24-72 hours for a refund. I understand tires are drop shipped from Coker, but I ordered and paid Jegs, not Coker, and expected my product or refund from Jegs. Received neither. Filed a dispute with my bank for the charge. We had no choice but to install it at that point. Upon install the engine had a terrible knock. Suspect the pin on #5 cylinder...has a terrible knock. I spoke to Josh newsom about a product that was charged to my account twice. They told me that they do not authorize any kind of payment at purchase only when the order is shipped. Well obviously that is not true because we got charged $1800 twice in the package was over a month and a half late. When I spoke to him, he was respectful at first, and let me speak and see what I had to say but once the conversation was over, he chose to tell me that he had been in business for over 60 years and his knowledge is why he is where he is, so he knows what he's doing and he knows what he's talking about and that there was no other way to help me because on there and they can only see the charged twice. And he basically told me that all of his employees had been working there a quarter of the time that he had been working there and I told him that one of his employees is the one that told me the payment was confirmed on July 19 and he said that that was not true and he knew for a fact that his employees would not say that that they would not confirmed that but 100% they did we have ordered a lot from this company. It is really sad and really disheartening that they have such shitty managers over the phone that they have such shitty contacts that you have to talk to you because they do nothing to help you. They absolutely do nothing to help you all they do is tell you how long they've been in business and they know what they're talking about but they do nothing to provide any kind of information to help you other than you need to dispute it with your bank not us because we didn't make the mistake but you're the company that charged me twice right it's absolutely disgusting. I bought a tci th350 4x4 maximizer transmission in march of this year and i recently got the transmission installed in the truck last month and I've reached out multiple times because the detent for the rooster comb is broke and was broke befor I installed it I spent alot of money to get what I thought was a good heavy duty transmission I had high hopes for this i was told these things can happen in transit so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and drained the fluid dropped the pan and saw that the detent for the rooster comb is broke the roller didnt just fall off its completely broke the detent that selects the gears is broke and thats why the roller wont stay on ive searched for that detent and i cant find one nor should i have to be looking for parts for a brand new transmission worst place to order from and of course when I call to start a return they say my warranty was only 30 days and it's up DO NOT ORDER FROM JEGS THEY NEED TO JUST CLOSE THERE DOORS read more

After church I took it to our long time mechanic. Monday he checked it out and we discussed the options that I had. I elected to replace the long block and started hunting. I spoke with Rick at Jeg's after reading their website and comparing prices with other reman. engine companies. Jeg's had the best price and shipped the same day. Also offered the best warranty. After 3 days I picked my truck up and have been very pleased with the results. The new engine is quiet and strong. No more tappet noise. No hesitation. No problems.
