So a car driving in front of me on the road suddenly lost a giant chunk of his bumper. Initially I…read morethought it was going to hit my windshield- it landed in the road in front of my poor little car. Because of oncoming traffic, I could not swerve, or because of the car behind me- stop safely. I hit it and heard the crunching tearing sound. Mercifully, the car behind me stopped. I had to back out to get this giant chunk out of the bottom of my car. In the moment I should've pulled over, but I asked Siri for the closest repair shop. This was Steve and Jerry's. At this point I prayed for help. I was petrified. I spoke to a sweet woman who said she was going to go chat with her son in law. My car died a minute from their shop. He chatted with me briefly and said he would be right over. He walked over in the rain. As he looked- his expression was grim. It seems this chunk tore the radiator and compressor, and he wasn't sure about the engine. The cars check engine light was on. My tow driver towed it over. He had a longer look and came in to chat with me. This was pretty massive. He felt it needed to go to the dealer, and told me to file an insurance claim. I started the process in the waiting area and soon I had a plan in place. Not only did the technician offer to drive me back to my home (I had a friend coming), but his mom in law kept the store open until my friend arrived, keeping me warm instead of standing out in the cold. I did request to pay for the detailed assessment, and I did so. Can you say over and above? I don't know many places that would do this. Even though the damage was beyond their means (because it was pretty catastrophic needing a dealer's help), they still made sure I wasn't left literally out in the cold. I can just imagine how their regular customers are treated, I was new to them! The office Goddess informed me they'd been around for 54 years. I can certainly see why. Her husband took great pride in his service (he's been departed a decade or so) and the business remains in their family. What great, kind people I ran into today. I would recommend this business wholeheartedly. On a cold, rainy, horribly gone wrong and not so funny April Fool's Day- I met a couple angels that gave me hope. Thank you both of you for your help, and especially your kindness. I am deeply grateful.

I called again the next day and told her I had to have it by 3/2/21 no matter what so I have time to get plates. She guaranteed she would but again she didnt follow through! I reported them to the BBB the next morning 3/3/21 and asked for my money back. They did nothing they said they were going to do. After they got this report they sent someone to fix one of the problems on the vehicle which was the tire pressure light. Well their tire guy found another problem that they don't want to fix. The owner came to my work that night to drop off a title after I already asked for my money back and proceeded to argue with me in the parking lot saying he doesn't have to fix anything on the car and was talking to me like I'm stupid about the problems on the car. He said its buy as is, which I completely understand, however they told me all these minor little problems would be taken care of before this $11,000 purchase. Don't take them for their word! They also told me it's not their problem if I have time to get plates even though they didn't have the title to me within the 30 day time period. Very unprofessional owner I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. He is a liar and very disrespectful.

As I drove from the parking garage to the circle to pick her up to go home, my front right tire went flat. We called roadside assistance through our insurance agency, and Cameron came to the rescue. My vehicle was a bit of a conundrum, as one lug on each of the front wheels is rounded, rather than beveled (as normal). He was able to plug the tire, and we made the 60 mile drive home safely.
