I was quite comfortable in the relaxed, friendly atmosphere until management decided to call an employee to task for a really minor infraction while I was sitting there. The manager did not get up and come over to tell the employee quietly that she'd made an error. She berated her in front of everyone. I was impressed with how that employee shook it off and continued to smile, because I was still annoyed hours later. But my experience with Mayra outweighed everything else so I'm still giving 5 stars. Also, the other two employees were friendly as well, and smiled often. It was just the manager that made me feel ill at ease.

Because of this, it wasn't possible to know that the prescription wasn't right for me until I opened the new box and used a pair. When I called to tell them my eyes were really strained and that text was blurry, they told me to come back in for another exam. I had a different doctor and a different and better prescription. They are charging me for the new contacts because the other box with the incorrect prescription was opened. Even though they never gave me the correct trial pair! I will never go back! I have to pay for their mistake.

She was extremely helpful, took time to find the right fitting frames for me and I was out of there in about 15-20min with the two frames I chose for around $150 for both including the prescription (which I already had). I came back around 12:30 and they were ready to go. Couldn't believe how quick the turn around was and the service was great. I will definitely come back.

The thing is, it's all ok to waist other peoples time, but none of those employees or doctors would have wanted to be treated that way. I have been going to the Diagnostic Clinic for over 20 years - a very busy place. I have never had to wait for a doctor's appt. as long as I did today. In fact they have signs that say if you have waited more than 15 minutes long to let the desk know. All three employees working the front desk were young and obviously never taught manners. The man who did the short eye exams was courteous, but did he really not know that I would have to sit and wait for awhile? About the business information is a lie. Their customer service is bad.

I pay $130 for same (contact eye exam & fitting" down the road. Yelled about the excessive fees and was given a supposed credit on account. Son went back and credit was no longer on account. They have lost my trust. Will not do business with ever again.
