I reluctantly made an appointment, the Lady on the phone was really nice. Mid August: I did not know how lucky I was to find Dr House. His skill at pain control is absolutely the best, I had all of my teeth pulled, and had less pain both immediately and overall, then any dental experience. I had such anxiety I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do it, but he taught me techniques I am now using in daily life. I was really afraid, but it seemed like he did nothing but narrate it, because I never felt alone, and yet he did the entire precision expert surgery, His staff and he worked like one unit. Late August: My oral care is one of my best things about me, my mouth is so clean and I feel like a new person, like the mythical phoenix who rose from the ashes. I see a new face in the mirror, and her eyes dance as she smiles at herself . I smile at strangers. My smile is beautiful, and so is my life. Thanks, Dr H, for giving me back both. When I called to file a complaint mostly to let them know they should reevaluate the way they do things as a place that says they are a place that provides care. Money hungry dentist office that does not mind sending bills to collections even after paying them over a thousands of dollars wanted to send me to collections for the 200 left over. I could not pay with my health savings account anymore because the year ended. They cleaned me out of any and all money I had. I was afraid to go to any other place all year long because of the bills that insurance wouldn't cover. I'm making just enough money. So this is a PSA this "Dentist" office is looking for people who have an immediate 3k in their pockets at all times. When I wanted to only do a few things they encouraged me to do more, now I know it wasn't about my health is was about getting that bill. Upselling at a dentist office is crazy but according to their manager they are a BUISNESS so what do I expect. Go find a real doctor if you need a dentist. It might be a longer wait, it may be overcrowded but at least they give you actual care. They will understand what life is like, when I told the office manager that I paid over 2000 right after she said okay.. and then u didn't pay again until this year I said yeah cause that was everything I had!!! She acted like 2k was nothing like it wasn't going to set me back. They choose the price of their so called services. I rather pay the dental assistants themselves they shouldn't have to work under a dentist honestly if he's going to look at me for 3 seconds and then leave. Again not actually providing care taking on as many people as possible to get as much profit as possible. No one is going to read this or care but I'm doing it anyways in case their is someone like me who is not white and rich , that thought they were going to a place that would help because duh it's a health care provider a dentist, dental care... a basic need really, they will help me! Again I'm not signing up for a spiritual retreat! It's not an extra thing I like to do and spend money on. The system is fucked up and fuck dentists and all health care providers that came into the game for the money. I want to be a provider that helps people and everytime something like this happens it reminds me everyone is against you even the people who are supposed to be offering support. Makes me want to have an even stronger dedication when I do step into being a provider. All to say fuck you guys that's really petty. Threating my credit the main thing that matters in America. He takes time to go over what is happening with my teeth and gums. In years past, in Seattle, I went to several dentists. It was always an anxiety producing time. Not so with Dr. Gaskill. One of my greatest fears is needles. I don't even know when he starts with the injection. He takes the time to complete all procedures. Now I have no fear or discomfort from the shot. I have had a crown placed without a root canal before when I was a kid and it was not nearly as painful as this experience. The practice seems advanced and gives you advanced prices and when they map your teeth they do it with this cool machine but they pinch your lip against the machine they are sticking in your mouth pretty consistently. I was traveling for work and got recommended this place. The new front desk lady was nice and she was what made me feel decent about choosing this after calling a previous business and getting referred. I was on emergency status because I wasn't local and needed same day treatment and I didn't want to wait for my tooth to get worse. They wouldn't quote me the price of a crown over the phone. Which is about 800-1200 more than other places I've gotten work at the past. They did have another business they worked with to help finance care that I got approved for. I know dental work is a pain in the ass but I've never been in this much pain In my life from a dentist. I'm telling you I have never ever reacted the way in a dental office than the way I did there. It was just an onslaught of pain and I was actively crying. The numbing just kept wearing off and at one point she just straight injected the tooth. I had the work done back to back on days because the dentist otherwise would be out of town for her pre-wedding party. So I had to go back and my face is in so much pain still. My gums in parts look like they have been sliced so much that I thought it was good or something but usually when you move food around between your teeth it doesn't have it's only feeling sensors. If I had a bit more room to shop around out there I would have gone with a different clinic. It has been 2 days since my crown was officially fit and I'm still in significant pain. So much so I have to take time off work just to mitigate. I feel terrible and now I have a $3000+ bill I need to pay off for one fucking crown. Don't go to this place if you have feeling in any part of your mouth because they will absolutely test your pain tolerance in your body and wallet. I hope the pain subsides soon it is unbearable.
