A 14-year-old girl on the team got hit in the mouth with a frisbee, knocking the wire in her braces half-way out of her mouth. Her lip was bruised, torn, and bleeding, and she could hardly talk; eating or otherwise waiting for the weekend-long event to conclude (and flying home to California) was hardly possible. I called half a dozen orthodontists and dentists, leaving messages at each (closed) business that I had an emergency. Dr. Bielas returned my call in about 15 minutes, and agreed to meet me and the girl within the hour at her office. She arrived shortly after we did, dressed very nicely; she had come straight from a church event. She had a very kind, concerned manner with the girl, put both of us at ease immediately, took a very professional medical history, and fixed the problem very quickly and ably (bring those parent-signed emergency medical release forms with kids everywhere!) . As if this wasn't enough, she also declined taking a payment from me or payment information for the girl's parents. She said simply, "My kids are too young to be playing sports, but I'd hope someone would do the same for them if needed." What a class act. Thanks, Dr. Bielas.

I reluctantly made an appointment, the Lady on the phone was really nice. Mid August: I did not know how lucky I was to find Dr House. His skill at pain control is absolutely the best, I had all of my teeth pulled, and had less pain both immediately and overall, then any dental experience. I had such anxiety I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do it, but he taught me techniques I am now using in daily life. I was really afraid, but it seemed like he did nothing but narrate it, because I never felt alone, and yet he did the entire precision expert surgery, His staff and he worked like one unit. Late August: My oral care is one of my best things about me, my mouth is so clean and I feel like a new person, like the mythical phoenix who rose from the ashes. I see a new face in the mirror, and her eyes dance as she smiles at herself . I smile at strangers. My smile is beautiful, and so is my life. Thanks, Dr H, for giving me back both. When I called to file a complaint mostly to let them know they should reevaluate the way they do things as a place that says they are a place that provides care. Money hungry dentist office that does not mind sending bills to collections even after paying them over a thousands of dollars wanted to send me to collections for the 200 left over. I could not pay with my health savings account anymore because the year ended. They cleaned me out of any and all money I had. I was afraid to go to any other place all year long because of the bills that insurance wouldn't cover. I'm making just enough money. So this is a PSA this "Dentist" office is looking for people who have an immediate 3k in their pockets at all times. When I wanted to only do a few things they encouraged me to do more, now I know it wasn't about my health is was about getting that bill. Upselling at a dentist office is crazy but according to their manager they are a BUISNESS so what do I expect. Go find a real doctor if you need a dentist. It might be a longer wait, it may be overcrowded but at least they give you actual care. They will understand what life is like, when I told the office manager that I paid over 2000 right after she said okay.. and then u didn't pay again until this year I said yeah cause that was everything I had!!! She acted like 2k was nothing like it wasn't going to set me back. They choose the price of their so called services. I rather pay the dental assistants themselves they shouldn't have to work under a dentist honestly if he's going to look at me for 3 seconds and then leave. Again not actually providing care taking on as many people as possible to get as much profit as possible. No one is going to read this or care but I'm doing it anyways in case their is someone like me who is not white and rich , that thought they were going to a place that would help because duh it's a health care provider a dentist, dental care... a basic need really, they will help me! Again I'm not signing up for a spiritual retreat! It's not an extra thing I like to do and spend money on. The system is fucked up and fuck dentists and all health care providers that came into the game for the money. I want to be a provider that helps people and everytime something like this happens it reminds me everyone is against you even the people who are supposed to be offering support. I have been getting my dentistry done at Cedar Grove Dental for over 3 years. He has been the best…read moredentist I have ever gone to. He gives a relaxed vibe that helps me to relax. He takes time to go over what is happening with my teeth and gums. In years past, in Seattle, I went to several dentists. It was always an anxiety producing time. Not so with Dr. Gaskill. One of my greatest fears is needles. I don't even know when he starts with the injection. He takes the time to complete all procedures. Now I have no fear or discomfort from the shot. The rest of the procedure is a breeze with him. The dental hygienist always has a happy demeanor, even when I don't floss. (. ; I recommended Cedar Grove Dental to my wife.
