Jeeroz Gyros Once in a while we get a food truck come to the Highland Reserve West in the FlexCare Staffing parking lot on Gibson Drive. We never know who will show up... I wasn't able to tell who the vendor is from our building. ... today we had Jeeroz Food Truck! I walked down with my co-worker. I wasn't going to get anything but I ended up getting regular fries w/ Jeeroz sauce and a strawberry lemonade. The fries was straight outta the fryer fresh and was delicious dipped in the Jeeroz sauce. It was a high of 102° today and my strawberry lemonade was refreshingly good. I had a piece of my co-worker's Chicken Gyro and was tasty and yummy! Now regretting not getting one for myself. I wasn't really expecting the food to be this good. Come baaaaaaaack again soon! Was at a soccer tournament and wasn't expecting much. Had pleasant customer service & was stuffed. Wasn't able to finish both the gyro & fries. Would just get the gyro next time as the fries were in there as well. Food: 5/5 Beef/lamb gyro: 5/5 Interesting take with fries inside. Tender & juicy meat. Side of fries: 5/5 Good amount of fries for the price. Side sauce was really tasty & I love the seasoning they put on the fries. Service: 5/5 Super helpful as I was at a soccer tournament & rushed for time. Ambiance: 5/5 NA. Food truck.

Jeeroz was parked a 2 minute walk from my house and I happened to be locked out. I was getting hungry and figured I could walk up to the Mexican place up the street. My neighbor happened to be at the Hungry Pecker and I asked how the food looked. She said good, so I stopped there. Paid $12+ tax for the Gyro pictured. It's my first time having one and it's pretty delicious! Idk about the price since it's basically like a big taco or something, but, like I said, I've never had one and this might be average price! The guy that took my order was nice, and answered my questions. Super filling! Didn't even finish it... No regrets here!

I got the tikka combo which involves skewered lamb and chicken over rice. There's some hummus, a big piece of bread, and a salad involved. Overall, I thought everything could have been more flavorful. While I'm a sauce man, if a place doesn't beg me to ask for sauce or add more, I'm pretty impressed. Further, the lamb was kind of tough. Perhaps, some of the other items could be better. They seem to have some nice baked good options. I guess the $ is competitive, but for $20+ for an entree and soda... Service: order at the register. Not too much conversation involved. Maybe about 4 tables available to dine in.

They are located inside a Mediterranean market. We ordered from the bakery, but, paid over in the market. I got their beef shawarma sandwich, while my coworkers went with the chicken. It took a few minutes before our sandwiches were done. The sandwich was big and a very good value for the price they charge. The problem I had was with the meat as it was very gristly. The beef was marinated well, and came with tomatoes and onions. They were okay. I can't complain much as the price was very reasonable.

I'm not vegan but if I was I'd eat here daily, their olive salad (not sure of the name at the moment) is absolutely delicious, grilled veggies are cooked perfectly. Kolbeh Kabob serves Persian and Mediterranean cuisine…read more Language barrier issues with our server affected my ability to order what I wanted, led to an upsell, and prevented me from separating or splitting the bill. Server did offer to let us choose 2 different meats for our two #41 Koobideh plates (2 beef skewers for $25), but I think we would have been better off just ordering one #61 All Koobideh plate (3 different meat skewers for $34). One plate has plenty of basmati rice for two people to share. She suggested the two #41 orders, instead of answering how much an extra order of rice would cost. Maybe you can't order a side of rice? Rice comes with each entree. By ordering the 2nd plate, she offered or included the $8 Bread Basket for no extra charge. It was my friend's birthday. I wanted to pay, and she wanted to order extra to go, so I wanted two separate bills, but it seemed too complicated to explain or disallowed. After the food was delivered to the table, server didn't check on us anymore. I guess the restaurant doesn't do anything special for birthdays. My friend thought all the koobideh tasted the same. I liked them in this order: 1) Lamb, 2) Chicken, and 3) Beef, but they're the same texture, so they aren't all that different. I should have ordered a different 2nd entree, instead of two Koobideh plates. The #18 Bademjan Borani eggplant appetizer was yummy. It did come with some bread, so you don't have to order the bread basket. The bread is served warm. The basmati rice was light and fluffy, but not flavorful or buttery. You can pay a $4 upgrade to switch the rice to salad or a fancier stir fried rice. Read the Vegetarian Dishes menu section to learn about the various fried rice or polo preparations. Our server suggested the Fava Bean Rice or Baghali Polo because it is a Persian New Year dish. Yelp reviewers recommended the Zereshk Polo, which includes barberries, a fruit similar to currants. $10 to add a skewer of veggies. $4 to add a salad is mentioned under the Vegetarian Dishes menu and Seafood & Combination Plates menu. I didn't like how the sugar cubes for the Persian Tea were served. It looked communal and exposed to the elements. You could see sugar dust on the serving bowl. Other Persian restaurants serve the sugar in a smaller covered bowl. Formal dining room. Lunch specials are Monday to Friday, 11 am to 3 pm, excluding holidays. Lunch prices range from $16-$20. 3 different $8 soup offerings: chicken barley, ashe reshteh, or green lentil.
