Caught Jeeroz Food Truck in Vacaville (Check @jeeroztruck on IG for their schedule). I am a sucker for a good shawarma so I had to check it out. Went with the chicken shawarma & beef gyro which both came with fries. The gyro was pretty standard, but the chicken shawarma was delicious. It paired well with garlic sauce and shatta (hot sauce). The absolute best Mediterranean food I've had. I have been to dozens of places all over California but this little food truck is mighty. The owner was extremely kind and helpful, allowed us to sample before ordering, absolutely blew our minds. Flavor is unmatched, meat was juicy and tender. My only complaint is that it's not here in Roseville everyday. I am going to bring everyone I know to this food truck. Hopefully one day they get a brick and mortar restaurant. Jeeroz Gyros Once in a while we get a food truck come to the Highland Reserve West in the FlexCare Staffing parking lot on Gibson Drive. We never know who will show up... I wasn't able to tell who the vendor is from our building. ... today we had Jeeroz Food Truck! I walked down with my co-worker. I wasn't going to get anything but I ended up getting regular fries w/ Jeeroz sauce and a strawberry lemonade. The fries was straight outta the fryer fresh and was delicious dipped in the Jeeroz sauce. It was a high of 102° today and my strawberry lemonade was refreshingly good. I had a piece of my co-worker's Chicken Gyro and was tasty and yummy! Now regretting not getting one for myself. I wasn't really expecting the food to be this good. Come baaaaaaaack again soon! Jeeroz Food Truck came to our event in the California Delta on Sunday, 10/27, and absolutely knocked it out of the park! Their food was amazing, the customer service was fantastic, and everyone that ordered at their truck reported loving what they got. Tender lamb, perfectly cooked falafel (not an easy task), and french fries with the perfect combination of crisp on the outside but tender on the inside! So many customers raved about the lemonade that the organizer had to go get a glass and reported that it had the exact right amount of sugar and lemon -- a tang and not too sweet to drink! The young men walked orders over to people at vendor booths or tables and no one had to wait long for their food. We are far out in the country so that it's hard to get food trucks, and we really appreciated Jeeroz coming to our event. We highly recommend them! read more

Jeeroz was parked a 2 minute walk from my house and I happened to be locked out. I was getting hungry and figured I could walk up to the Mexican place up the street. My neighbor happened to be at the Hungry Pecker and I asked how the food looked. She said good, so I stopped there. Paid $12+ tax for the Gyro pictured. It's my first time having one and it's pretty delicious! Idk about the price since it's basically like a big taco or something, but, like I said, I've never had one and this might be average price! Not only is this one of the best Gyros I have had, the workers are polite and to the point when it comes to your order and your food. Fantastic!!! I like a good falafel. These were spectacular. Appetizer came with sauce, pickled veggies, and pita. For $6!!! The hummus was also very delicious. Probably the best I've had. Very tasty. Also came with pita bread. $5!! We only appetizers because we had already eaten. This was food we 'had' to buy to have a sit down beer. But I will follow this truck. And eat again and more. Absolutely delicious food! I highly recommend it. I have had the gyros and the chicken shawarma wrap. Both were amazingly flavorful. The garlic sauce and the pickled turnip in the chicken wrap adds up of the explosion of flavors. I also suggest finishing your meal with the baklava. read more

I really love Jeeroz! I never noticed his food truck over by Joanne's/Office Max on Arden way before but last night I noticed it and thought "omg gyros!" So I went and bought 4 gyros and hummus with gyro meat appetizer! I thought these would be small gyros like you sometimes get at fairs or other restaurants but they are huge!! I probably didn't even need 4 because 1 is so filling me and my husband could only eat one each. At least we have amazing gyros for lunch today! Literally the best gyros I've ever had and the most amazing and fresh hummus I've ever had. I'm so glad to find out he's there Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays! I can't wait to go back! And on my way to my car the hummus fell out the top of my bag and I felt so bad but the owner was so nice and threw away the one I dropped and apologized! It wasn't really his fault I just tipped the bag wrong but he was so nice and made me another and gave me two pieces of Baklava as an apology. I told him he didn't have do that and he insisted. And let me tell you it was the best Baklava ever, I definitely have to order some of that every time I go in the future, it's just perfect. read more
