Tomato Basil - not super hot, but flavorful
James G.

Wow! I had medium expectations here. However I should have lowered them because we were severely disappointed. Our waitress had only been working a month and had zero feedback on what to order or an opinion on any menu item. We had to ask another waitress her opinion and she gave us some insight but nothing mentioned was in the specials list. We ended up ordering the turkey club and Jedi's dip sandwich. Tomato basil and lemon rice soup. However my friend asked for tomato juice and soup instead of a potato option and was told no. She could have tomato slices but not tomato juice. Why? I had coffee but never got any refills until I asked. We also had ice tea but no refills until we asked. Turkey club - huge but fresh turkey. However way too much lettuce. Jedi's Dip - bread tasted "yeasty" and a bit sour so that wasn't good. The beef was okay. Not all whole slices but bits and strings of meat. We asked about dessert and since our waitress was not aware of the options we were told to walk over to look ourself. We just left after paying and ended up grabbing dessert at Miner-Dunn!

Hubby had the fried fish & I had the Monte Cristol. Food was average. This place is due for an upgrade. The decor was stuck on the 60s. We didn't get the server around again for a refill. They have a very huge menu & this place reminds me of the many restaurant shows where Gordon Ramsey would have issues with! It's basically overpriced cafeteria food. I won't be back.

Overpriced, dirty, bland, and be prepared for every restaurant shortcut to be taken. Salad dressings are watered down.

Their lemon rice soup is fabulous, and my favorite of any of the Region's lemon rice soup competitors.

It's unfortunate that I receive the exact opposite on my second visit. I was waiting to be helped and they took two white men, and an elder white lady before me, even though I was acknowledged. I can understand if they're older and they wanna be helpful first, but there is no communication on this.... And then I saw the sign. I should've taken a photo cause it was a little startling, and unfortunate that they expressed so openly their political position and hate for Wokeness. I've heard some stories how they are true MAGA and slightly racist, but you have to experience it for yourself. You have to give a place a chance. And it saddens me the way I was treated on my second time back. Folks everywhere are just so sad and upset these days, every life has been disrupted in someway the last 10 years for multiple reasons. It's stressful out here, but it's also stressful trying to get good quality food with all the regulation changes. I travel out of the country multiple times a year and American food is just the worst. So I'll keep searching for quality in both the product and in the customer service. In some small way, it's good to know a store position because I don't wanna give them my business. It's so weird to fight against progress. And it's even weirder to think Wokeness is a thing. Stay asleep.

It was like an old school grocery stop with a deli shop that was busy when I walked in. Had me curious enough to come back and try a lunch sandwich from here. This meat market has the soup bones for my dogs for a decent price also. I never wrote a review with the intent of a follow up review as I have to come back, grab a sandwich and buy some ready made family style dinner trays that looked like it would make my cooking nights way easier! The lady Çathy up front was extremely knowledgeable of the place. I will be back very soon to provide an update on the family dishes and sandwiches! Can't wait!

I arrived only to find one lone employee. I placed an order for the webpage to be told what I ordered was not served anymore an he pointed to a small chalkboard with spot 5 items on it. He didn't seem interested that the menu on the website needed to be changed, but pointed to the menu, stepped away from the register...and sat down. And I traveled all that way to find the spot. So I ordered a panini (salami, mozzarella, and roasted red pepper). It was not made with care...and tasted that way. I didn't finish it - it wasn't good. Never eating there again.

I walked in and I was surprised, I didn't have that old smell of walking into an antique store or used clothing store where everything had the old musty scent. This eatery is inside of an antique mall, and they have all kinds of snacks and food to eat, as well as some alcoholic beverages which you can drink while walking around looking at everything. We were greeted nicely walking up to the counter, and the person working even gave us a few suggestions which was nice! I ended up having a white claw. They have bloody Mary's and specialty beer there as well. There's even a tap!

There were more workers than customers which was the first thing that hit me. Second, the menu wasn't that easy to decipher. All I wanted was a simple tuna sub. I decided to get just the 6" sandwich since adding the drink and a bag of chips was no bargain. I paid nearly $10 for just the sandwich. I know inflation has caused prices to surge recently but I did not feel my meager sandwich was worth 10 bucks after I consumed it at home. I live very close by. If I would have purchased the simple combo, I would have paid about $20 and that was much more than I was willing to pay for such a lowly presentation and not very appetizing endeavor. It just wasn't worth the asking price. Gee, imagine what a family of four (4) would pay to be fed here? Sadly, fast food chain restaurants are quiet the costly alternative to filling your stomach these days. You'll never get rich being a frequent diner at Jersey Mike's, nor can you count on getting a nourishing meal. Better options remain for the discovery, I'll let you seek and find them out.

I realize it's under your "cold sandwiches " but come on... No, I was told. Our grill is off. I said really? No hot sandwiches after 8:30?? I told them they should put that on their website or front door! Went to Potbelly.
