Came in early to wash clothes, in and out within 30 min for just wash. Didn't need to dry. $1.50 for dryer, big load you'll need 2 dryers so $3 (split big load into 2 dryers) The gentleman that was working the front was awesome at 8am. Knowledge me on the washer and saves me money by combining my clothes cause I didn't know how much I could fit into a washer. Thank you for that all and all great experience I'll be back if needed. read more

JDs Washateria - 60 lbs washing machines. - Laundromat Near Me - Houston, Texas

Never any of the smaller machines to use, prices are too high. Customers spoiled only be allowed so many machines per family. Had my small load on high dry for 40 mins and still came out damp and cold read more

The both times I've came to JD's Washateria, I have to say I actually like the fact they keep the Washateria clean. The washers and dryers all worked with out any issues. The staffs are nice, I've been greeted and when leaving. Will continue to wash my comforters here. read more

Very nice & clean place to do laundry.Very kind & helpful owner!!!!Highly recommend!!!

This is one of the friendliest Laundromats that I've been to. I'm very busy and sometimes because of that, my clothes tend to pile up. I decided to go to a laundromat to get it all out of the way instead of washing at home and came here. The owner is very friendly and does what He can to make sure you got all that you needed during your visit. His assistant is very helpful and kind. When I arrived, I began washing my clothes and she informed me kindly that they close at 9. I had just started washing at about 7:30. Once I got finished, which was about 8:20, she saw me putting my wet clothes into a bag and she insisted that I still dry them even though they close at 9. She helped me put my clothes in the dryer and started it for me. Best service hands down! Very friendly people, very helpful. Got the job done. read more

This laundromat is clean the washers and dryers are great. The owners are very nice and personable, always greet you with a smile. My dryer is working now but I would return here to wash my large items. Oh and I love that they don't allow pet items to be washed in their machines. read more

it was my first time here when I saw the price of 6 dollars I was like u kidding me? but it's whatever and the other reason is we had no power in my neighborhood do to a diagnostic testing they were doing in the neighborhood overall I still think it's overpriced I thought it was 1.80$ from yelp but no worries owner was helpful but not gonna come back again read more

Fantastic service, clean space, and everything you could possibly need to do your laundry is for sale. The manager quickly understood that I was new to the laundromat game and helped me every step of the way. He was SO nice and helpful. There were plenty of chairs, washers, and dryers. And I was so relieved to see that they sell stain spray. The prices for washing and drying and for the products were all really reasonable. Awesome laundromat! read more

If you need a Washateria, I highly recommend JD's. They are very friendly there, have all the products you would need to do your laundry, and provide change as needed. No need to stop at the bank for change. They also provide a laundry service of washing, and folding if you don't feel up to it, and are willing to pay. read more

If there was a way, I would give them 9 stars! This is the cleanest Washateria I have ever been to. SIX 60 lb washers, along with fourteen 40's, fourteen 30's & seven 20's and thirty eight dryers! Extremely friendly staff and a pretty good pantry is an added bonus. Pantry items are a little high but at least not way overpriced. Also, they keep the room at a very comfortable temperature with the addition of fans. read more

I started coming here a few years ago, moved from the area but drive 30-40 minutes to this wash room, it is by far the best washateria, it's clean, they carry all your laundry needs plus snacks, and the lady that works there is absolutely amazing! You won't find a better wash room! read more

Outstanding laundromat. Very clean. Workers constantly cleaning equipment. Attended by a worker who can provide detergent and access to change. Nice Mexican restaurant in the small strip mall. read more

This place is great! The owners are so nice and helpful, they really care about their customers. We were greeted by them at the front door as they held it open for us so we could bring all our laundry in. I'm not very familiar with washaterias and multiple times they told me I could load even more clothes into their washers. They could have chosen to say nothing and thereby gotten more money out of me, but they are way too honest for that. On top of that, and this is the biggest thing in my book, the place was CLEAN. I didn't cringe when I dropped my underwear on the floor when pulling them out of the dryer (well, maybe I cringed from embarrassment, but not because I felt like I needed to re-wash them). Anyways, if you're in need of a washeteria, I would definitely recommend this place. read more

great business plenty of washing machines and dryers. Owner was very knowledgeable and was willing to help. There was detergent and dryer sheets for sale along with snacks. The man working the counter was very nice . He shows me how to work the washers and dryers. Place was very clean. 10/10 I have been going back every week read more

On vacation and needed to wash some clothes. This place is clean. They have 30, 40, and 50 pound front loading machines. The prices range from $2.75-5.75. They're fast too - our load was out of the washer in just 23 minutes. The dryer was $1.00 to dry all our clothes. One thing - their Yelp info says they close at 10, but their sign says they close at 9. They sell everything that you might need also - soap, fabric softener, etc. I would go back again if I found myself in the area with a load of dirty clothes! read more

Needed to do some wash, this place is clean lots of machines and great help. Pleasantly surprised!

Back in the day I owned a washer and dryer and it was great to be able to do laundry at any time from my home. Unfortunately the apartment I live in now does not have washer and dryer hook ups and their laundry room is kind of a joke. So I ventured out to find a place to wash clothes. My best friend Katy took me here one time when I was visiting and she needed to do laundry. It quickly became my go to spot for washing my clothes. The street it is on is busy, but not too bad compared to FM1960 and it is easy to get in and out of the parking lot. When you first walk in their are carts to use to tote your laundry around. I always grab one and toss my hampers in it. I also use them for transferring me wet clothes to the dryer. The washateria has change machines that let you take cash and turn it into quarters to pay for the laundry so don't feel like you have to run to the bank to convert your money. I usually grab a $10 bill from the CVS down the road before I go, plus I can then pick up detergent or other laundry items if I need them. The washateria does sell detergent, fabric softener, scent boosters, etc as well. There are different sized washers ranging from 20lbs to 60lbs. And 2 different sized dryers. The prices are really good for the different sizes and all the machines are well maintained. If any are broken the laundromat will mark them and get them fixed as soon as possible. Some days are super busy, but so far I have not had to wait for the size of washer and dryer I need. There are TVs for entertainment while you wait, but sometimes nothing interesting is on. I do however find it oddly satisfying to watch the washer spin my clothes around and get clean. There are seats along the window walls to sit in and wait, but it gets really hot in the sun. There are fans, but I'm not sure if there is air conditioning. There is tint on the windows but it could use some updating. Overall I like coming here for the size of the washers and the price. I miss washing my clothes from the comfort of home, but this is the next best place. read more

Our washer crashed on us and I was looking for a clean safe place to do laundry. This place is very clean, staffed, and friendly!! They have snacks and laundry supplies in case you're in need. The rolling laundry baskets are a plus too! Will be using for our bulk laundry now that our washer is fixed. Great place super people. read more

I come here every week. The variety of machines are very convenient. Reasonable prices, clean, friendly staff and quiet atmosphere. I wish they can improve the business adding a coffee bar and some to entertain the kiddos. I really enjoy going here. Great job team! read more

My washer broke just as all the laundry had piled up. I was able to wash a four person, two dog household for $28! All the bedding, clothes, and even pillows fit easily in separate machines with room to spare. That means room to actually clean! I've also found a new hobby, searching for quarters. Super nice people too read more

Went here to wash clothes while we were tiling the laundry room floor. They have around 40 washers and 40 dryers. The place is very clean. The lady that runs the place is very helpful and nice. All of the machines take quarters and they have a machine that makes change. read more

Very clean establishment. Never a wait for machines because there are always several available in various sizes(3 loads to 6 loads). Prices are reasonable, and the machines and dryers work so well that you will not have to spend more than an hour or two there (depending on the amount of things you need to launder). If you forget your supplies, or run out while you're there... no worries, they have several products to choose from and purchase. Staff is very pleasant. read more

We randomly have to go to a Washeteria to wash our blankets because they don't fit in the regular size washer/dryers. I've been to several washeterias that are super ghetto and you really feel like you don't belong there at all. JDs was totally the opposite. Really clean establishment. Totally felt comfortable. Wouldn't think twice about coming back. read more

Excellent in many ways. Clean, inexpensive, all machines work, and supplies available if you need them. Will be the only washiteria we will use, even though there a few closer to home. read more

My first time at a washateria and I couldn't have picked a better place! They have 3 different size washers so I was able to wash my king sized blanket. It's super clean here. The staff are friendly and nice. It's not hot in here because they have a lot of ceiling fans and the ac is on. Will definitely be back here to do my heavy washes. read more

Nice place. Clean, comfortable, and not overly packed. It cost me $5.75 to use the massive washer. I will be coming back.

Really clean, even the restroom. Friendly staff. Fairly new washers and dryers. Great washateria in the area

This is the cleanest laundromat I have been to. The attendant was very friendly. She cleaned the machines when people were finished using them. I was not worried about using their machines after someone else. The other patrons were nice and friendly. I will definitely be using this as my laundromat from now on. read more

The washer are huge! The dryers are huge! The attendant is super friendly. It's super clean. What's not to want?? The only thing that's strange is that there are no dollar washers... You have been warned. The washers range from 1.75 for a two load wash to 5.75 for a six load washer. If you think about it it's cheaper than dollar washers if you have a lot of clothes. Great place. read more
