He installed all of our components in the basement and ran an infrared device through the walls and placed it discretely next to the TV (which I still can't find). Now everything is out of site in the basement and all we have in our living room is the TV and speakers - it's amazing! Everything is controlled through this infrared and changing channels and such sends a signal to our devices in the basement. I'd highly recommend this if yo want to hide your devices.
