Beware, the tire that blew was a replacement tire that The TOYOTA dealer in Marina del Rey, CA had put on my new 2017 vehicle after I turned over a parking lot curb at a bad angle. He put on a tire manufactured in 2014. Of course, all my other tires were made in 2017. Just saying. It was the 2014 tire that blew. I had been told by two repair places, one of them a Goodyear tire place, that there was enough tread left for my 8K road trip. As it turned out, I shouldn't have listened.

Used Yelp's tools to find S&H and sent a text describing our needs about 8:30 PM. Got a preliminary response within minutes and a response from the owner, Dan moments later. He'd already checked with three of his suppliers to no avail, but promised to check an additional source as well as his stock of used tires. Said he'd respond shortly after 7 AM. He did, and we had the used tires installed within an hour before 9AM. Price was fair, service was quick, and we got two name brand tires to tide us over until we can get a full new set (the tires we had we're original equipment run-flats with 44k miles on them. The place doesn't look like much, but they definitely know what they're doing and the responsiveness was stellar.

If you work in town, they will drive to you, pick up your car, and bring it back to you within a certain time period (usually less than an hour). I LOVE this service, and it has saved me from taking time off work to go down and sit there while they service my vehicle. I really appreciate how they look out for you too. One time, they noticed that one of my tires was going bad (wires sticking out) where I couldn't have seen it, and they called me to let me know that it wasn't safe to drive. Bob printed out a list of tires they could order, and didn't pressure me to buy anything from them. He left the print-out in my car when he dropped it off. Needless to say, I went ahead and got them through Corning Tire & Exhaust, but that level of professionalism was much appreciated. I've used Corning Tire & Exhaust to change my oil, rotate my tires, put on new tires, and put in a new set of truck brakes. Every time the work has been great, and I've never had any problems afterwards. That's why I always go back! I highly recommend them!
