Since then we've had a second water heater from Stan's, in our new house, and when the 'out of warranty' Sears AC in our new house broke down, Stan's diagnosed an unrepairable gas leak. As the whole HVAC system was elderly and inefficient, we had Stan's replace the whole system, heating and AC, and we were happy with their competitive pricing and quick, careful installation. Since then, routine maintenance has been easy to schedule and well priced, and the technician(s) have been careful, neat and willing to explain what they're doing. They have also replaced parts under the 10 year warranty pre-emptively, when they noticed wear, before the part could fail. We would recommend Stan's without reservation.

We bought a multi-unit building in 2016 and have steadily improved it. One of the first things I looked into was insulation. The building is old. The new unit we added immediately made the basement the warmest and most temperate floor. We weren't going to do a full reno on the ground floor so we decided to do "drill & fill" with cellulose for sound deadening. They were excellent. We did have a miscommunication about one cavity that was accidentally filled but this was professionally rectified. Just last year it was time to do the attic. We thought about saving money and doing it ourselves. Just before renting the equipment and sourcing the insulation at Home Depot I have them a call for a quote. It was off-season but the quote blew me away. Like with our previous renos, their pricing was extremely aggressive and I said yes right away. The man (Reggie, if I remember correctly) and woman who showed up to do the blown-in cellulose were great. Total pros who even spotted a few issues in the attic and addressed them on the spot! One was that a previous contractor installed an incorrect venting tube and replaced it. These guys are total pros. I'm a landlord and also have family who are real estate investors. We all agree that the OReilly Brothers are like a well-oiled machine. Other companies, from our experience, don't have the systems in place to do the quality work for such fair pricing. I had water leaking into my basement from the window well which caused a lot of water damage. When I called up the company they sent someone out right away. After a quick inspection they were able to determine the cause and had it fixed within an hour. They also noticed that my down spout wasn't set up correctly and fixed that as well. They were very professional and friendly even offering advice on how to maintain the window well so this wouldn't happen again. I would highly recommend this company!

The day arrived for our appointment, it was a cold rain, and it was very evident that he was not prepared (in how he was dressed to inspect outdoors), nor did he seem to care less to have our business. He provided some alternative (interim/band-aid) methods in 'managing' the issue indoors, drill holes to let the water run down below the floor (drain off). He seemed rather in a hurry (didn't want to get his senior head wet; that's the message he literally gave us) and didn't even show interest when I had other concerns at the back of the house. Within the next couple of days it continued to rain and our back window well filled, causing other issues that he did not address with us. We ended up going with a competitor who was fair, friendly, helpful and interested in having our 'little job' business.

TL;DR/The Short Version: Great experience. Had a gas fitter…read morecome and cap our gas line and an electrician come to set up a 240V outlet when we switched from a gas range to an electric one. The Long Version: When my husband and I bought our house, it came with a gas range. Having grown up with electric, I was really hesitant to keep it and wanted to switch to electric, but I eventually got used to it and we kept it. Not too long ago, the oven bit the dust and stopped working. The elements still worked but I need my oven! So at this point we decided to switch to electric. We needed someone to cap the gas line and install a 240V outlet for the new range. Francis Home Environment was great because they offered both services. We had 2 different technicians of course, but they were both from the same company who coordinated their work. My husband dealt with the technicians and I got to benefit from the results, lol. Terry came in the morning to cap the gas line. He was great. He checked the line in the basement too. Then David came in the afternoon to do the electrical work. He pointed out that the previous owners did not do some electrical work properly and we had live wires just taped up behind our range. We could have gotten electrocuted all these years! Omg! David fixed things up and now we have a new 240V outlet and no live wires just hanging out with their ends taped. Both technicians were courteous, professional and efficient. I liked that they came during their scheduled time window and my husband got a text when they were on their way and he could track their location on his phone. They wore shoe covers in the house as not to dirty the floors. Their price was on the higher end, but we were happy with the whole process from start to finish. We would happily recommend Francis Home Environment. (217)

6 weeks after this business installed my fence, it is falling down…read more I have videos and photos of my 6 foot chain link with 250 feet of privacy mesh. Cost over $35,000. I will attach just a few pictures/video. When I emailed, then called in great concern, I was blamed, bullied and Remi lied. Rashi is also being unprofessional and dishonest. They are suppose to be fence experts?! They refuse to accept responsibility nor any accountability. Did tell me at one point they would come out the day I initially emailed/called - a no show, then said the next day - also a no show. Then no response to my additional two emails and calls. They are now not answering calls or emails and are not coming out to address. I am extremely worried for the safety of my special needs dogs. They were made aware throughout the whole interaction - from initial contact to install a fence until now - with them how important this fence was to be secure and stable and proper for the safety of my dogs. That my dogs are a priority to have a safe, strong plus enjoyable fenced in area to enjoy. November 30th, one of my special needs dogs ended up getting stuck in an area of the fence/double gate as it is coming apart. Another special needs dog got out through a portion of fence - this company says that this is real chain link(it is easily bendable). I have photos and witnesses from the metal, ties and garbage they also left on the property. They did not even install the gate or fencing on my back deck properly either. Very unprofessional of Rashid & Remi of Commence Fencing. I spent all I had on this fence - they knew my budget, even used up funds from another fund as I was charged many thousands of dollars more after they started, and I clearly have been taken advantage of. Unacceptable. I opened up a complaint to the BBB due to their lack of response and unprofessional conduct. Commence Fencing said: 1) they offered me a full refund. They did not. 2) that I paid less than the $35,000+ which is not true - have all receipts/invoices from the privacy mesh, installation of the privacy mesh(they came out a second time - Salem to install another 100 feet), the fencing etc. 3) said they record calls and responded immediately to me, which is false. I have kept my own emails and call logs. 4) they recommended this privacy mesh - Remi - and was 250 feet, not the 200 feet they state installed by their privacy mesh expert (Salem). 5) Two fencing contractors looked at the fence November 30th - confirmation given that the posts were not installed correctly and one noted that the double gate was also not correct. Another fencing contractor has reviewed the photos/video. This fence was not installed correctly. 6) they did not install the gate/fencing on the pool deck correctly either 7) they stated the the fencing/mesh on the side with the treeline is not leaning and is secure so it is the more open area and the mesh there causing the issue - they are wrong - they never have come out to see for themselves and I have videos/photos of this area also. It is their poor and incorrect fencing/post installation that is the major issue. 8)They remain dishonest and still have not responded as to when they are coming out nor offered to repair at THEIR expense what they did not do correctly. They are suppose to be the professionals. They promised me a strong, secure, safe fence that would last decades. 9) they are wrong about my move in date also. They 'finished' the fence - Salem came out a couple of weeks later(would have to look up the date) to install another 100 feet of mesh - October 8th very late. I moved in on the 11th. Had surgery on the 12th that laid me up for 6 weeks from work etc.. Noted my fence was falling down on November 27th. Immediately reached out to them. 10) Additional steps are now being taken to address this serious situation.
