I assume this is some kind of loss prevention thing but if you're that paranoid about someone stealing at the checkout then get rid of the kiosks and hire more checkers. And dont leave the self checkout as the only option at night. The only reason I ever went here was if I needed something later at night. Instead, from now on, I'm gonna drive the mile to the 24 hour Jewel Osco who don't call me a thief or waste my time.
