For the most part it is definitely estilo (the style of) Nayarit Mexico. The spices are just right when it comes to taste of seafood and you can taste the freshness of the soups for sure. The taste of Nayarit always is a bit different from other regions in Mexico and I am not the biggest fan of "other" Nayarit seafood spots in the area because they have downgraded. So to say this spot open up with such happy workers and enthusiasm is quite good. I did see that the sign said BYOB, so I did bring a few beers. Good thing I did as this is what seafood needs. And I am happy to say that they go all out to make sure your experience is a good one. The manager came to our table and greeted us and let us know his experience in the food business as well as what he expects from his workers. Which by the way, he went out of his way to make sure they were accommodating. The service here is awesome and the whole experience makes me want to come back. Parking isn't the best since it is right on Archer avenue but for the most part it was okay. I also liked their way of greeting, as if you are family. When I initially went to customer service one day later the lady was upset and bothered that I was complaining. She was pushing on why I not called prior to me walking in. I let her know I did not call because I came in to purchase it at 8:50 pm the store closed at 9 pm and I went to work the next day and was busy. I managed to go the following day and did a walk in. She responds that you should have still called in not sure why you wouldn't call us! I said is this part of your policy where one has to call before coming in? she says no, and proceeds to say, you could have called in. At this point, I'm upset I asked to speak to the manager. He came with the same attitude with a fake concern, and then they offered to give me credit not even a refund. I had pictures of the blood nasty chicken sold. He said, "we cook many chickens some are going to turn out bad like the one you purchased". UNPROFESSIONAL. It's so unfortunate that I have to go to a different store now because of this experience when I live so close by.
