I contacted just about every fabricator in the SF bay area and they were the only ones willing and capable of making a rail with a compound curve tube. The second hand rail was custom fit around our hot tub with a serpentine pattern. This is really hard to do as this is made from heavy wall Stainless Steel pipe rolled to shape and then ground down to look like tree bark. The rail was the set in artificial rock that required special jigs to core the holes to set in place. Overall this was a great experience as Mario and his wife were very professional and made both rails in a few weeks time. Given the high degree of artistry involved, they made sure we were in agreement at each stage of the project. We are very pleased with the end results and would highly recommend.

The work included some carpentry replacement, including switching from vertical to horizontal external panels, and expected some additional work based on what is uncovered after power washing and panel replacement. Jose was very responsive, helpful, clear, and delivered on-time, on-budget a very satisfying work despite some rain and scope creep (the panel replacement). He advised against spending more than necessary when relevant, but always left it to us for our final decision. His workers were conscientious and exceedingly clean.
