Waited 26 minutes today to get my order of 2 chicken sandwiches, fries and a drink. Others ordered after me and got their meals before us. Food was incorrect when we finally got it but we were already gone as we had to get it to go. The lady at the front register was not friendly or helpful but then again I don't know why I'm surprised, she's working at a fast food restaurant. I probably won't even back. Good luck!!! read more

Used to be Heff's Burgers and did not make it very long but We think this place will. They turned it more to a modern neighborhood bar and restaurant with a full service bar, drink specials, HAPPY HOUR, great menu, great specials and value and most of all - Great Service - with a smile. What makes it so special is Alexis the bartender who serves drinks and her signature Margarita - hand poured on the rocks or frozen at only $5 and $4 Happy hour price but wait there's more- On Saturday they are only $3 so we have made this our Saturday evening hangout. Live entertainment on the weekend - great local talent, great vibe, fun atmosphere. We hope to see you there. So Fridays we still spend with Tracy and Sheriden over at Tastebud Temptations and Saturday at JC's like my Wife's initials JC. By the way I forgot to mention the food, mostly a burger based menu, all great but We love the salads, the Southwest Salad and Grilled Chicken salad because we are always doing the low or no carb diet route. They have daily specials that are great so check it out and we will see you there. read more

JC's Burger Bar - JC's is our new Saturday evening hang out with $3 Margarita specials and great food. See you there! - Bars Near Me - Mesquite, Texas

First time trying this place out. Upon entering the establishment I was greeted immediately by Buddy and another gentleman who open the door for me as I was walking in. It kind of threw me off but when I walked in I turned around and saw their big smiles. At first when you look at this place it looks like you're walking into a regular burger joint but this is a full service restaurant what I would call it. To your left is the bar everything to beer and liquor. To your right is traditional seating and they also have a bag patio that is covered right now but I'm sure during the summer it'll get uncovered. I spoke to you buddy a little bit and he informed me that on Thursday nights they have live music you can check out their Facebook page for information on the musicians that will be playing or the bands. My order was placed by a lovely spirited girl named Hunter. She helped me make my selection I ordered the nooner Burger. It has a fried egg bacon cheese lettuce tomato topped with zesty cilantro aioli sauce. Let me tell you this burger is out of the world. You can order it on white or wheat bun. The burger patty itself does not look pre-made. It looks like a burger that you made at home the burger is rough around the edges Jagged edges just like a burger at home but the tenderness of the burger is superb. At first I took a bite of the actual burger itself and in my opinion it may have needed a tad bit seasoning but when I bit into the actual Burger itself everything in the burger gave the meat taste. The bacon was yummy it was not too thick but not too thin crunchy but yummy. The bun fluffy. The burger does not come with fries or onion rings you have to order that on the side now let's talk about my onion rings. I have never tasted onion rings like this before. They were perfectly seasoned without any condiments. I requested some of the aioli sauce on the side and later smeared that all over my my burger just because I like my burger a little more wet then normal people. I dipped my perfectly seasoned crunchy onion rings in the sauce wow wow wow. Every once in awhile Hunter would come by my table and ask me if I'm okay do I need anything she greeted me and she talked with me she was very sweet. When you're finished with your meal here there are no trash cans the waiters and waitresses will take care of take care of you. As I was leaving I was greeted Again by a sweet bald man I believe his name was Wayne. He asked me how my food was and I told him it was excellent. I requested a to go menu and was greeted Again by Buddy. Customer service at this establishment far exceeded my expectations. By the way they have an amazing peach mango iced tea. So much for going and working out instead my car took me to JC's Burger Bar definitely will come back here again I recommend this place to everyone. read more

We ordered the chips and queso, cheese fries, a Pollo Picante chicken taco, The Works burger, and the nutella shake. We loved it all! The queso was fresh and had a little kick to it. The fries were pretty good, and had good seasoning, topped with the queso. The taco was also good, topped with the queso as well (we like our queso).. The burger.. was delicious! Cooked to perfection, great flavor, and the bacon was perfectly crispy. The nutella shake was amazing! Greeted promptly and sat in the bar area. Overall, nice layout and well-decorated. The service was great and we got our food promptly. Very impressed with JC's. Will definitely be back!! read more

Southwest chicken salad was delicious. My son loved his chicken tender plate. I like the dill pickles and they also have spicy pickles. I will definitely be back. The patio was nice and quiet. Everyone seemed very nice. The prices are a little higher for a burger joint in mesquite but not too expensive that you couldn't treat yourself to this place read more

Tried this establishment with a large group of family and friends over the weekend. Young man at the counter was quite friendly. I wanted a wheat bun and Turkey patty for a #7. I saw and heard him clarify my order with the kitchen. Problem 1 it came out on a white bun and my fries were barely warm. I asked for another bun. Problem 2, I was given beef and not turkey. My patty was pink, greasy and shaped differently than the other turkey eaters. I was told it was turkey and that it would come out pink again, if they remade it. I didn't want to argue with kids in our party but after 2 days, I'm still not pleased. read more

Great Burgers, I love the Turkey Burger! Their food is fresh, great service with super nice staff! My new favorite hang! Great for a snack and drink, dinner or just some drinks with some friends! Yet to see anyone dare the Toddzilla! read more

That man Kaden need a raise! He gave us some excellent service! Food was also pretty good. Burger was perfectly cooked!

Ordered a Turkey burger for religious reasons and got beef. Some people get sued over this. Had someone else check the meat before I realized what it was and they said it was the worst burger they've ever had so I guess I wasn't missing too much lol read more

Nice and friendly staff and good food. And try to get on the wall by eating the burger( I forgot what it was called). Now don't be shy to get it because if my sister made it up there so can you read more

They have great burgers, onion rings and great customer service too! Will definitely go back.

Absolutely great burgers and fries. To add, the customer service from the cashier a young African-American man was exceptional he greeted me at the door and opened the door as I entered. It's a little pricey with no combos for a burger and fries it's abou $11 if you add a drink $13 -$14. read more

Yes, the food is good. The atmosphere inside, makes you feel like you really, just went out somewhere casual and cool. Smooth vibes! Just step inside to be transported out of the everyday around Mesquite. read more

I don't care what anybody says, I like this place. Their hamburgers are delicious. I will for sure go back! My kids love it, too. They call it the "dinosaur" place. I think the prices are reasonable. Next time I'm going for a veggie burger ;) read more

The onion rings are awesome!!! Get them!!! Also, my burger was cooked perfectly! Anyway, i'm a big fan and may try my luck with THE TODZILLA next time. read more

I tried this place for the first time today, and I fell in love! The service was great. Our server Evelyn checked on us and made sure we had a great experience. The manager that night I believe her name was Jennifer was very friendly. The food was amazing I had the hand battered onion rings and my husband enjoyed the bar here. Overall I love my experience here and I would definitely come back. read more

Lacey is an awesome bartender. She always recommends great drinks! We Have tried this place a few times and it always been fast and great

Service was great! Food came out fast and even though drinks were self serve there was a constant stream of people asking if we needed a refill. Burgers were great! They were big, put together well, and tasted pretty good. Fries were okay. We got a large portion but there was a slight off taste, sort of like they were fried in old oil. One thing i loved was that the kids meal burger was actually a pretty good size. It was also my sons birthday, when I asked the manager if they did anything for birthdays he said no but offered us a free shake! My son loved it! Our family will be going back. read more

My friend and I ordered a Juarez burger and the Nooner burger. Both were delicious. We tried both curly and regular fries, and they were just right! Topped it all off with shakes-vanilla and strawberry-which were so good. First time will definitely not be our last time. read more

Good burgers-BUT stopped going there because the bar crowd gets loud and obnoxious. It's supposed to be a family spot...if this only happened once it would be no big deal. But it happened 3 times before we hung it up and stopped going there. read more

Salads are delicious, and the onion rings are so good. The dinosaur theme is very unique

The bartender was rude and had no sense of good customer service . Took forever for me to even get my drink and even longer to place my order . Just decided to cancel my order after the bartender rudeness continued. Sucks normally a pretty good place, most likely will not be back . Customer service goes a long way . read more

I had the Buffalo Chicken Salad with a side of onion rings - both were delicious. Great service and prices. I'll definitely be back!

The food here is amazing, I would have given it 5 stars if i wasn't so disappointed by the environment. I would never recommend taking a child here. The music they were playing was extremely inappropriate. We had a newborn and a very impressionable 2 year old (who repeats everything she hears). So to have a song playing that's main chorus is "if you're a scared motherf****er go to Church" 17 times in a row is very disappointing. Then the next song had n***a, bi***, sh*t, fu**ing, in the chorus which was again repeated over and over again. I would never want to pay $6 for a kids meal at a place where my child will most likely learn one or two cuss words. I hope this music is not played all the time, but if it is not, then I am disappointed by the poor customer service to not at least change the music when a young child is present. Again, I absolutely loved the food! I would recommend going here for the food, but not with children. read more

We have really liked JC's since they opened but tonight was a different story. 2 of us dit at a 4-top in the bar, 15 minutes before we even get acknowledged. One of two beers come, wait for the other. Salad missing ingredients, orders not right, 'bartender ' is the counter person. No management on site, heard manager left so they need to get someone in there quick. Not sure if we'll be back which is sad since we've been visiting there every couple of weeks. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Will NOT be back! My husband and I went in on Saturday around 4:30. There was one girl working behind the counter and we were completely ignored because all she was doing was tending to the people in the bar area. Then some "regulars" came in after us....they walked in front of us and told the girl behind the counter "Give us our usual" and went to sit down. She still completely ignored us....started working on THEIR drink orders while we just stood there and waited. We got no "hello"...."I'll be right with you"....nothing. When she finally did acknowledge us she was VERY unfriendly and it was obvious she did not want to wait on us. The food is good but NOT worth dealing with this kind of TERRIBLE customer service! Next time we will take our business and money elsewhere! If I could rate them less then "Not good" I would!! It needs to be mentioned that this is NOT the first time we have had bad customer service from this place!! read more

We have always had a wonderful experience eating at JC's and tonight was no different. I decided to branch out and try three of the smaller versions of their menu favorites as sliders. I also requested that they be medium rare. JC's was busy and backed up so it took some time to get the food out of the kitchen. That being said, they did not cut corners or push the food out. They paid attention to my 3 tiny burgers and they were perfectly cooked. It's not an easy task to cook such small patties to a specific temperature. Time and time again JC's proves that they are a cut above any other local burger joint. As a semi-pro hamburger connoisseur I highly recommend them to you and your family! 5 Stars WELL DESERVED! read more

This was my first time here on Friday. The place was nice. I waited for my burger for about 20 minutes and got home it was cold. Not good you think if u wait 20 minutes yes your burger would be hot. Will not go on Friday night anymore. read more

Must have been short handed today. Tables were not bussed and it was not busy. Water was dripping from the ceiling by our table. Seems to need some management/owner attention. My burger was supposed to have bacon, but that was left off. Not a good visit overall. read more

Pretty good spot. We took the kids on a week night for some burgers, was surprisingly good. Fries were top notch, burgers were very tasty. It was a little higher priced than I would hope to pay for a burger but that won't keep me from going back. read more

Excellent old fashioned burger. Service was very friendly and timely. Ice tea was perfect. Can't believe I just found this place.

Went there tonight for my very first time, and don't think I will be going back. It cost $12 for a cheeseburger and a large order of onion rings. The onion rings were so spicy I could not eat them, and they probably were the reason for my upset stomach. The burger meat was under seasoned and it was nothing spectacular considering how much I've paid for the meal. This Meal made my stomach upset, and I cannot see paying $12 for food that upsets my stomach. read more

Honestly can say it was worth it and very delicious! The buns on the burger compliment everything and the fries are crunchy fresh on the outside but soft on the inside when you go to take a bite just how you would want them to be. The food was very fresh! I'd recommend this place to anyone. read more

My boyfriend and I came tonight for the first time ever and when we walked in there were only 2 people at the bar but they were laughing and cutting up, instantly we saw that and were happy. We placed our orders and sat at the bar and got drinks. Staff was amazing and did not make us wait on anything. The bartender, Kase, was amazing. The food was phenomenal and we absolutely will be returning after tonight. Happy hour is amazing on top of everything else. If I could give 10 stars I most definitely would. We look forward to our next visit. read more

Wow. I'm very impressed with this place, especially because Mesquite is notorious for slow service and lackluster food. The Boss chicken sandwich is flavorful, filling, and goes perfectly with the crispy fries. The original burger is also great, especially with the generous amount of green chiles. I will definitely be back! read more
