I went to JC Penney in SouthPark Mall Strongsville, OH Friday November 14th. I hadn't been out there for awhile & have frequented a competitor due to it's proximity to my home. The store was clean. The store was organized. The sales associates- 2 young men up in house goods, & young lady named Desiree down in women's section, all were courteous, helpful, & worked hard. When they weren't checking out customers, they were folding and tidying. When I asked a question they were able to look up. I wasn't ignored!!! I found what I needed + something I wasn't looking for. Good job in hiring these young people, Penney's! & the store looked great! I hope to go back soon. read more

totally gross, went in to the women's dressing room, when store first opened at 11:00. Regarding women's dressing room: Carpet was filthy, stained and full of garbage . Mucus like someone sneezed, all over the mirror , entire dressing room was disgusting, I decided not to try anything else on and just left., I called to inform the manager, she did not seem too concerned. I asked if they had a cleaning staff there, she did not answer, even though I asked two times. Inexcusable for first thing in morning.Shop elsewhere read more

I love shopping at this Penney's store. It is a pretty large store so there are lots of options. I love looking at the dress clothes for work and the jewelry. My favorite brand of clothing they have is Worthington. They have registers all across the store. Everyone is friendly. read more

This is purely for the salon. My sister and I wanted to come in to have a girls day and get a haircut. Neither one of us was asking for a super difficult cut; for me, an inverted bob, about shoulder length in the front, and back at the nape of my neck. We got in, and were given--what must have been--brand new hairstylists, right out of school. My sisters cut was basically cut into a sphere, and she has a round face...doesn't go well together. My hair? I have lines, literal horizontal LINES in my hair now...not blended whasoever. It's absolutely awful. And there's barely any angle at all, cause the front is to my chin...also not a great length when you have a bit of a double chin lol. A new haircut is supposed to make you feel better about yourself, not worse or upset. We're both super upset and would never EVER pay for a haircut like this, let alone $40 each. Unfortunately, my sister isn't confrontational, and I couldn't see the lines in my hair until my sister took a picture of it and showed me, after she already paid. Did I mention that it took 45 minutes for her to do my sisters hair, and an hour and a half, to almost 2 hours, to do mine, a simple inverted bob? So, my sister waited outside the salon, by herself, for another 45 minutes or so, while the girl was finishing my hair. So, basically, these girls ruined our girls day, instead of making it an amazing, memorable day together. Never EVER going back, nor would I recommend. I'm sure some of the older people working there, who have many years of experience, can do some amazing work! However, they didn't think to schedule us with them, so I can't attest to their abilities. We were given the newbies, and they aren't good....at all. When I got home, I went on their site, and eventually found bios for some of the stylists. I didn't catch either one of their names, but for 2 of the girls, it says they were right out of school, when the one told me she had 3 years of experience. Ya know, just not enough for me. One of the nicest JCPenney Stores that I have been to. Recently remodeled & now has a Sephora inside. They also have a large furniture, apparel, & home selection at this store. Clearance prices can't be beat. Recommend the Southpark location! read more

This store, has excellent customer service and everything in stock. If it is not in stock, they actually look it up for ya.. I thought I had stopped in Mayberry back in time. The floor person went out of her way to find every item I needed, Sandy and then I decided to get a JCP card and got even bigger savings. Not to mention 7. percent sales taxes. Back to LA with fall clothes minus the 9.75 extortion sales taxes. read more

JCP on line is out of most sizes a month before Christmas ! No wonder they're doing so bad !!

This review is for the salon. I went in for a trim off the length, to match the sides and rest of my hair that I have been painstakingly growing out for MONTHS. Amanda decided NOT to listen to what I was saying and chopped off inches from my hair, and to add insult to injury, the sides are STILL shorter than the rest of my hair. So the same version, except all chopped off. UN-believable. I'm not sure HOW much clearer I could have been, even telling her how short it used to be and that I didn't like it that short and that I was just wanting to match the back bottom to the side length that it currently was. NEVER. AGAIN. Even when you're clear, she just went ahead and did what she wanted to do anyway. SO disgusted. Be aware. My mistake just going in to a place for a length trim off the back to save time and money from my usual salon. read more
