THE WORST JCPENNEY EVER!! I bought a necklace from them on January 19th and I accidentally broke my necklace. I took my necklace to this location for a repair. When I walked in I was not greeted by NOONE. I spoke with someone in the jewelry department she gave me an estimate for a necklace that I purchased from them for $120 she then sent my necklace off for repair. She advised told me my necklace wouldn't be repaired until the repair place called me with an estimate. TWO WEEKS passed I hadn't heard from anyone so I called no answer. I called a week straight no answer. I decided to call the Jcpenney location at the Wolfchase mall spoke with someone she stated she couldn't find information on my necklace and gave me a number to call. I called the number which was to the repair place spoke with another rude representative who stated the associate wasn't suppose to give me their number and that she couldn't speak with me. I then drove Back to Southaven spoke with the jewelry associate who stated my necklace wasn't sent out until a WHOLE WEEK after I dropped it off she stated the repair place was closed and asked me to call her tomorrow. I call the next day and of course they had their phones off stating no one was available. I then drove down there AGAIN spoke with another associate who advised me she would call the repair place the next morning and call and give me an estimate. She was the ONLY ONE who kept her word. BY THEN WE ARE NOW ON WEEK THREE. She calls and advised the repair place stated to repair my necklace it would cost $125 for the repair And cleaning and stated my necklace had a bend in it which was a Lie because I just got the necklace. so I said i just want my necklace fix so I agree to the repair cost. So BOOM this week the SAME ASSOCIATE calls and says my necklace is ready. So I get down there to pick my necklace up I walk in Still wasnt greeted by NOONE the lady looked me in my face and told the other associate See what this lady wants as if she didn't work there. so the lady brings me my necklace it takes THREE Associates to try and check me out because at this time my total is coming to $64.70 so the lady says well the repair place said it was $125 so that's what we have to charge her yet my receipt says $64.70 so the Lady goes into the system and makes a receipt to total $125 after she gave me a different price. I stood there over 40 minutes waiting to be checked out for a necklace they had an Entire MONTH. I will NEVER visit this location again nor will I EVERY BUY JEWELRY FROM JCPENNEY AGAIN.!!! read more

The day after cyber Monday they only have 2 registers opened in the whole store with a line wrapped around into multiple sections of the store. We sat in line for 30 minutes and it did not move but only one person and we ended up leaving. We were told all the employees called in this morning, they need to fix this situation and have someone take over their shift. Having check out, pick ups, and returns all in a line that was going to take multiple hours to get through is crazy. read more

My ring has been sent off for repair for over 3 weeks. I have been trying to contact them to see why it hasn't come back yet and they haven't answered the phone yet And I know they can't be that busy in every department. Oh I forgot everyone is on their cell phone now at work and don't have time to answer the store phone.!!!! read more

I have always loved the clothes at JCPenney's. Sensible and fashionable with just enough edge to not be boring: completely my style. The majority of my wardrobe comes from this store, and it's for this reason I will always go back. Except, I may avoid this location, unless there is an emergency. The layout of this one used to be so simple. Enter in by the women's section, right is casual and active wear, left is career and formal. Whoever is in charge of this store needs to learn: "If it's not broken, don't fix it." They still have the same basic concept, but they've added a few new sub departments. Spaces where one designer is grouped together. But they didn't realize one thing- when you're operating in an open air space and these sub departments are within 10 feet of each other, it's not wise to blast three different types of music. I kid you not. Stand in the middle and you feel like you're in some horrible nightmare. Not to mention the whole thing is migraine inducing. Not a great environment to browse and take your time in. Next, I'll say something about the mannequins. First off, they are very well done and I'd buy every piece any of them were wearing, including the jewelry. If I could find it. The outfits on the display, are NO WHERE to be found! Very frustrating. Another thing. Now I'm not sure if this is a one time thing or what, but it sucks. I've always loved the placards above each rack, telling if there was a percentage off, and the sale price next to the original price. Or just a placard giving the price on the racks. Made shopping so simple. And they're gone. What?! I'll tell you why they get two stars. One: I love their clothes. Two: The staff is personable, nice, and helpful. The store is clean and kept up nicely. I believe I was generous with that. read more

This review is for the Sephora inside JCP. Danielle was very friendly and helpful. They don't carry all of the items that a stand alone Sephora does however when your in a pinch and need something you can find the staples here. read more

This is the cleanest JCPenny store I've ever been in. I've been in ones from Nashville to Huntsville and all in between but I've never seen one clean. Whoever the manager is at the location is doing a great job at making sure this one is spotless. read more

Nicest JCPenny I've ever been in! I find everything I'm looking for here unlike at the other ones where there is not much selection. The store is clean. The employees are nice. read more

For the second time this year we have bought clothes at this store and the security device has not been removed. This time we found it two hours before our daughter had to wear the dress to a school function. So I drive our of my way to get it removed. No apology or anything. Acted like they did me a favor for correcting their incompetence. This store has some stupid people working there. All they have to is put a magnet to it. read more

Love this JCP. The employees are always nice and helpful. It's always clean and neat. If they don't have EXACTLY what you're looking for, they find you something very similar. They always have great sales and coupons. You also get the $10 rewards, $15 shoe perks, and $15 bra perks which can also be very helpful. Seriously, who doesn't love extra $$? I shop here almost 3 times a week. SERIOUSLY! read more
