They gave out this $25 off $ 25, when you spend over 100. Well I got a lot there for Christmas present and got 5 of them cards $25 off 25 or more. Well my 16 and my 17 year old daughter spend 3hrs trying to us. I guess it one good for one item can't be under 25.00 then when they found a items that was over it was not included in the 25 off 25.00. really 3hrs when I spend over 500 to get this card witch is the only reason I spent so much at JCPenney this year. It's a joke won't be shopping there again. Also have two of them to my family member well I had to give them cash because they also tried using them and same issues. read more

Today I had the WORST customer service experience at JCP. Placed an on-line order for store pickup. Went to appliance department cashier and was told that the ".com" cashier moved around the corner. I proceeded to the .com desk to find one cashier waiting on a customer along with three other ladies in line waiting. After 20 minutes the cashier was still waiting on the SAME customer and two of the ladies waiting in line in front of me dropped their merchandise and said they couldn't wait any longer. After 25 minutes passed I went back to appliance department and asked the gentleman if he could get an additional cashier at the .com counter because the gal needed some assistance. He said I'm on my way there now and told me to be patient. I told him "I've been waiting 25 minutes and the cashier is still assisting the same customer. How much longer do I have to wait before I can get inpatient? I also told him that two customers dropped their merchandise and walked out. It seems to me that the .com line should be for on line orders only and not in store customers purchasing bras underwear infant clothing and bath towels. The reason we shop on line is for efficiency, avoid the store and the rude cashiers. Very disappointed in JCPenney today. read more

Ordered 2 drones online and had them shipped to the store due to shipping being free. Arrived on time. I went to the store to pick them up with my girlfriend as she paid for them. Took 20 minutes to find both drones. We had went on my girlfriends lunch (30 minutes) assuming it would be a quick process (it wasn't). They found one drone in 10 minutes, then had to call reinforcements to find the other. Not sure why they weren't together as they were in the same order. Then the boxes they came in said to not open with sharp objects. The associates wanted to open them with scissors. My girlfriend told them not to due to the warning and they ignored her, saying it was fine to do. As the one associate attempted to still cut the box open, my girlfriend ripped it away from her and opened it with her hands. Needless to say a 15 minute trip turned into a 50 minute trip. Will never order anything site to store from here again. read more

I absolutely love JC Penney. I buy all my clothes there, and also shop for my grandchildren there. The quality of the clothing is excellent, and when shopping online, they almost always have a promotional code on their website taking an additional percentage off the sale price. By the time you factor in all the discounts, the price is comparable to Walmart with a much better quality. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to pick up an online order, and the store clerks go out of their way to make your shopping experience a pleasant one. read more
