The store is clean, staff is friendly. I was actually skeptical of Kohls contests until this past Christmas. I WON my entire purchase at check out for a Christmas Contest this past year and was in disbelief! I've never seen anyone win, and never thought I would. It really does pay to use your Kohls card. I use it every time and pay it off right away.

But instead of approach me discreetly, they yelled across the parking lot to "never return." Afterwards told me they believed it wasn't me and wanted my number to text me when they confirmed it on the videos. Who does this? Never experienced such a joke of a mismanaged store.

American Eagle is another of the typical mall stores. They seem to have a good selection but have…read morecreated the situation where if it's not on sale nobody is shopping. Today the sign says 60% off and that seems crazy. How can things be 60% off if the starting price was anywhere near reality. I think it is a race to have the highest percentage off which only serves to create confusion to the consumer. I keep waiting for the day that stores quit having to have a sale all the time. What's next 90% off. This store is clean and neat and well merchandised. The changing rooms were clean and organized as well. A friendly staff awaits you to make any purchases. That's pretty typical anymore.

One of my favorite stores when it hit up the outlet mall…read more I buy a lot of clothes here, from shirts and sweaters to skirts. My husband likes their clothes as well. This is easily one of the most attractive stores at the outlets, brightly lit, nice fitting rooms, laid out well. I have one of their rewards cards, so I use it whenever I pop into town to shop. I picked up my favorite black skirt from here for a song, so there you go! The prices are not super cheap, but are consistently lower than retail and often much less expensive than what's offered on finer department store clearance racks, especially considering the quality of what's left on clearance after it's been picked over by buzzards. Some of the best deals lately have been on lingerie- an odd trend I've noticed the last few times I stopped in.

If your an Old Navy fan you'll feel right at home. Most all of the inventory that they carry at the…read moremall, they carry here. In many ways the store mirrors your typical ON location. I don't feel that the prices are any less than other Old Navys, yet that was once the point of an outlet store. You will find plenty of specials and great bargains, again, fulfilling the classic definition of outlet shopping. PRO TIP: It seems silly or time consuming, but you need to jot down sale prices on items you buy. It's also a good idea to take a picture of the sign and the garments directly under it. I take it one step further by comparing the upc (bar code) on the price tag with the upc on the sign (when available). I developed this most inconvenient practice because on my first three visits to this store there were items that didn't ring up with the sale price. The cashiers have always been great about correcting the mistake...if you catch it. On two occasions I've heard "looks like someone accidentally put this on the wrong rack!" Was it accidental? It's a clean store and the staff are super pleasant. Depending on your timing, it can get really busy, but the line moves quickly. Because it's the outlet mall there's a huge parking area without much competition nearby. What it really boils down to is: are you willing to watch them like a hawk and grab the deals ~or~ not be bothered? I'm a fan so it's worth it to me. 06/21

I never wear sneakers (five fingers for life!) but I wanted to get a trail running shoe that was a sneaker. I looked at the Merrell store in Howell several days prior and found a pair I really liked but they didn't have my size. This store had the shoe I liked in the size I needed. Originally we were only going to get one pair each. My boyfriend and I ended up each getting two pairs of shoes. Four pairs of shoes cost us $300 but there was a buy one get one half off sale so we saved $100 (the cost of one pair of shoes) Socks were also buy two get one free.
