I cut through Kohl's to get there. It may have been the first time that I have visited a Kohl's and didn't buy a thing. I probably shopped so such at various Kohl's stores throughout the Twin Cities on this vacation that I was good by the time I hit this store. I like when Kohl's is attached to a mall. You can enter and exit the store without going through the mall. This store does not have a built-in Sephora. However, it does have a number of strengths. I like the clearance section for women's clothing. It is next to the Croft & Barrow clothing. The clearance section has some decent deals if you enjoy finding gems and heavily reduced prices. I am such a fan of small kitchen appliances. I spent quite some time looking at the PowerXL stuffed wafflizer. You can stuff waffles with whatever fillings you'd like. It looked insane, but it intrigued me. The Hallmark section is a staple at all Kohl's stores. This one is no different. Valentine's Day merchandise was out in early January, featuring Snoopy. I didn't really need another puffy coat or jacket. This store had long, light puffy coats that looked nice. It would have been cool if each one had a two-way zipper on it. I feel that my expectations were set way too high here. Kohl's tends to have sales all the time. The deals are great, including the ones at this store when I was there. Curbside pickup is also available. You head over to customer service to fetch your order. It's a clean store. I enjoyed browsing around. Whenever I'm back in Maplewood, I'd drop by this store again and perhaps buy something before I hit FYE! (37)

They wont refund the shipping and expect you to pay shipping twice even though its their fault they dont have inventory. The Maplewood Mall location is definitely underrated, in my opinion. Whenever I go, the sales floor is always clean and ORGANIZED. The put the higher priced, fashion pieces at the front of the store and the everyday, low priced items in the back. The merchandising makes the shopping experience a lot more enjoyable.

It is basically like Burlington or TJ Maxx. I visited the store on Sunday, November 17th early evening. The store was busy. It was a little messy as in products are displaced on the shelves, some have fallen on the floor - typical environment for these kind of stores. Staff members where available throughout the store, but they were more focus on putting out products or ring up customers and move onto the next. It's retail, it's busy, it's understandable. You can definitely find gifts for value. I saw some holiday gifts that I would come back for. Otherwise, they have lots of clothes, beauty/spa products, toys, suitcases, snacks, perfume, bags, and more.

Pan Asian Center has taken up the Maplewood Mall spaces formerly known as Sears and Macys. At the…read moretime of writing, there are vendors on the first floor, and it (especially the second floor) is also available by inquiry for pop-up market type events, such as the "Rooted in Minnesota" Artisan Market which drew me here today to hang out with Hoya Heads and MN Houseplant Collective folx and exercise my abilities in not going home with more plants. Admittedly I heard "Pan Asian Center in the burbs" and thought I was headed for Asia Mall in Eden Prairie - *not the same* !! There's also a Daiso nearby. As this redevelopment develops, I will be most eager to finally learn what the boundaries of "Pan Asian" are :o)
