I love this store! I really like Carhartt stuff so it's nice to have a real bricks & mortar place to shop. You can see and touch all of their products in one location. Carhartt isn't just work-wear for men. They also have a very respectable women's section with some pretty cool stuff. They also have a kids area that actually includes items for toddlers and infants! (Check out my photos.) Finally, they have a dog section too. They have a pretty cool Carhartt seat protector that I think I need to come back and purchase for my big 160 pound Mastiffs. As a side note, they're dog friendly. Feel free to bring in your pooch for a visit. Finally, the staff here are awesome! I really can't say enough good things about how consistently great the staff have been over many visits. One time, last summer, I stopped in a when I was in bad mood. I'm ashamed to say I acted like a butt head and a total pain in the ass customer. But they were totally cool, friendly, and professional...despite my bad attitude. Impressive. Not impressed. I've worn their products for decades and this is the first time going to an actual Carhartt retail store. It felt trendy and hipster-ish. I won't be back. What happened to the company who built their brand on work clothes for the working and outdoors man? May be a name change is coming, "The Gap II" or "American Eagle Redux"? Shameful. read more

I came in here looking for a warm coat for my husband who works outdoors. I'd already been to 2 other stores with very minimal help and size range. First thing I noticed was that we were greeted first thing and everyone was wearing masks, which was greatly appreciated. They even took care of someone coming in behind us who was being a butthead about wearing one. That was very much appreciated as well. Most importantly, my MIL and I were attempting to guess at if something would fit my husband when we came across Ben. He was a total godsend with help! He was able to give us so many tips and ideas and I ended up with what I think may be just what we were looking for. He was even able to accurately tell me about the new, expanded plus size option for women. He was so nice and helpful and is such an asset to your store. I love Carhartt products, and the employees at this store were great! However, their women's section could really use some work. They only had 2 pairs of Carhartt Brown women's overalls in stock. Not 2 styles, 2 total! I ended up buying a men's pair and they fit fine. But why even have a women's section if you aren't going to stock the iconic overalls? I also intended to purchase a jacket in 2 different colors, a pair of pants, and a vest (it was my birthday, I was splurging!). They didn't have a vest in the right size in any color, and they only had a medium in one color of the jacket. They didn't have my size in ANY of the women's pants. It seemed like they had xs and xl in everything, but nothing in between. I did end up walking out with one jacket and a pair of overalls. Not quite the splurge I had planned. read more

Was only in the store for a few seconds before I was greeted. Told the lady what size pants I wear 40Wx36L. She said that she was not sure if they had any in that size in any style of pants but she would take a look. About two minutes went by and she cam out with 3 pairs of pants. I was very happy with the service and even though I could order off line, I will be back at that store again. read more

Just went there for the first time. I moved down to Rochester before the store opened 3 years ago so I never knew it was here. First visit was awesome. They had a bunch of clearance deals up front with an additional 40% off the clearance pricing. I found a few things that worked out nicely. My son had fun playing with the touchscreens around the store so he was entertained while we were there. The two associates that helped me (sorry, I don't remember their names) were extremely nice and very helpful. I will definitely be going back when I'm up that way in the future. Every time i go into the coon rapids mn carhartt store I have a great experience. The people who work there point me in the right direction, and show me whats on sale or clearance. My style of shopping is going in knowing what i want buying it and leaving. Quick in and out. And thats how it works. They don't linger and flow me around and I like that. read more

I was trying to return an it given to me by my employer. I wanted to exchange the item in the store so I could pick out my new items. Was told the it could not be retuned at the store but had to be sent to the online store, how inconvenient. What kind of customer service is this. They are so helpful, knowledgeable, and always go the extra mile for you. I am a frequent shopper, and their customer service is a direct reflection of why I continue shopping their.
