There were several sales people on the floor helping other people. I went to the sale rack first and then asked an older lady if they had Vionics in size 12. She said no. When I had called they had implied that they had other Vionic styles in twelves so i thought that was weird. I grabbed the loafer I wanted and waited for another rep thinking she just misunderstood me. The next woman was more helpful, but the situation still wasn't ideal. I tried on a pair of Danskos that were an EU 42 but that is really just an 11.5. (Eyes Dansko from across an ocean...) If we're being honest here, I think there were no actual size twelves in the store, they didn't want to look, or they didn't know how to look. I asked her what she had in the store that came in a 12, but she wanted me to go around the store and point to individual shoe styles and say "How about this one? How about this one? How about this one?" Listen...I'm 42 years old. I know that 99% of the time the answer is going to be "no...we don't have that in a 12." I have 30 years of shoe buying trauma built up, I don't need that in my life on my birthday. So when I ask what styles you have in a size 12? I know there are probably going to be like six of them tops. And if there are more that is AMAZING but SAY so, have it written down somewhere. Take me to the computer and let's look up your inventory by SIZE so you can show me what you have in stock TODAY. (((It's why I'm here and not on zappos.))) Don't waste my time and make me feel like I don't belong. Especially when you brag about having extended sizes. And telling me you can order those Vionics? Not helpful. Because I can do that too. The shop feels breezy-- large windows on a corner lot lends a lot of natural lighting and the aisles are wide for ease of shopping. They carry plenty of cotton prints, but I noticed they also have a good selection of minky fabric in many colors. They also have batting, pattern guides, and cutting mats/blocks. Pricing was standard for an independent quilt shop at around $13-15 per yard for cotton and $25 for minky. I was greeted in a friendly manner by an employee when I entered who said to let them know if I needed assistance. They also helped me checkout ahead of someone else who needed the cut counter (I did not). I can see myself stopping in if I'm ever back in the area. :)

I finally was in the area to check them out. They have some really fun, unique items which is great because I don't want to see my outfit on someone slimmer than me! They have so much merchandise to look at and go through that I started at one end and kept circling around the store because I was afraid I'd miss something! Large selection equals awesome! They even had a decent amount of clearance items. Two rolling racks with 50% off. I love a good deal! Jewelry, accessories, and even shoes! Very impressive! Now I'm not a model size and I was pleasantly surprised at the selection in large, XL, and even a few XXL! Thank you! Personally for me the prices are way outside of my budget. $50 for a t-shirt, $35 for a tank top? Sorry, but I couldn't find anything that I absolutely loved for those prices.
