A week later I attempted to return the item unopened because it turns out we had another blood pressure cup. The store manager was unwilling to take back the items, so I had to contact customer service who found my transaction and who along with the cashier finally resolved my issue. I mentioned very calmly, that businesses were generally required to keep receipts on file for around three years and my request fell well within reasonable expectation for a retail business, especially since these items were unopened and I had the card I paid with. He threw his hands up and walked away from me. Unhelpful, unprofessional. Two stars only because of the 5 star customer service rep and the cashier who was willing to actually help me. 45 minutes for a return. This experience has soured this location for me. Buyer be ware I guess.

I first went through the drive thru for the Rx, there were 2 cars ahead of me. We all waited in the drive thru for at least 15 mins and the car at the window never moved. This was at 8pm. So I decided to go park in the curbside to wait for my online order while the line went down at the pharmacy drive thru. I press the "I'm here" button on my email. It also says if I've been waiting more than 5 mins for my order, to call the store. I waited 6 mins and ended up calling the store. The cashier said he would take care of it. I waited another 10 mins, no order. I called the store a 2nd time, and the cashier apologized and called out to another employee and hung up the phone. I waited another 10 mins, and decided to go in the store this time. Went up to the cashier and said I had been waiting almost 30 mins for my order. He apologized again (the cashier was very polite and sincere, I don't remember his name) and grabbed the manager and 2 other employees that were apparently looking for my order at the photo center (none of my items were photo related). The manager came to me with a brown paper bag with my items and told me I had requested a digital receipt (this was not an option when I was shopping online) and said they were having a hard time finding it. He did apologize for the wait, but by then I just wanted to leave the store and not cause a scene. It was 40 mins by then. I left the store, and then remembered I still had to pick up my meds. I went back to the drive thru and the pharmacist was not on duty so it was closed, at 8:45pm. Sigh.

Can wait…read more15-20 minutes after your scheduled time if there people ahead of you which there usually always is. If you have more than one concern or issue you need to make another appointment. Which is understandable so they don't get behind time but it is a little annoying they don't space out their visits better to leave enough time for each patient without running into another scheduled time. Otherwise they are convenient for birth control and a quick check up if you dont want to wait for your primary care to be available and normally can schedule same day or next day appointments.

Two and a half hours later I came back to find they had closed without calling. Nice store don't come if you need a pharmacy.

One thing I find strange about this location is that sometimes there is a random grouping of Walgreens brand items grouped together somewhere in the store instead of along with other brand items of the same kind. I find it much easier to consider generic/store brand items when they are alongside name brand items. There was a robbery here in 2009 and I've seen a shoplifter walk out at least once, but I've never felt unsafe. The Walgreens Balance Rewards (loyalty) program is less rewarding that the CVS Extra Care program. I get CVS coupons all the time but never seem to see where my Walgreens points are going or adding up. I will also mention, however, that a few months ago I emailed Walgreens about a particular product and someone from their corporate laboratory actually called me back! That was shocking, in a good way! Open 8am - 10pm every day; the pharmacy is open the same during the week, 9am - 6pm on Sat, and 10am - 6pm on Sun. I wish they opened at 7am so I could go before work if necessary. Across the street from Hillcrest shopping center. On the 64 and 80 bus lines.

I can usually be in and out quickly and always enough space in the parking lot and has drive thru prescription service from the pharmacy.
