It's a definite numbers game for JCPenney trying to have their creditors see their sales unfortunately they are in bed with third party tariff evaders with deceptive pricing and the third party did not get vetted properly they're misleading and false advertising you will not get the item with the quality that you purchase up their website anymore, furthermore the third party has your billing the third party ships out blatantly under their label not even the label that I purchased which was Stratford Park I got nothing with Stratford Park I got nothing with JCPenney I got some company called n a n s i n g which is a company based out of China bugs and all. I had to purchase once and I was kind of shocked but I figured maybe it's a fluke and called up supervisor supervisor said oh it's the wrong item so I reordered the same exact thing and the same exact fake item came in only smellier than the first one I would not allow that in my house I am now going to the ftcc the Attorney General's office in Boston and in my state and I'm open up a lawsuit there cannot be this type of business practice is going on it's fraud out and out it's totally ludicrous JCPenney you should be ashamed of yourself I don't care if you sold half your company and you went through bankruptcy you have decided to have quality worse than Walmart. Actually makes Walmart look like five stars quality. Now I am taking them to court because they've already had a class action suit and now they're going to get my lawsuit regarding this very same tactic that they pulled on their website fraudulent fake items that's like selling fake Louis Vuittons why aren't they in jail? read more

I love JC Penney. They have jeans that fit me in the junior department and they are never too long. Price points are great, quality is good. This store was laid out nice , great sales. Only complaint is there are not a lot of checkout registers and they don't do returns at all registers only near the shoe department. Dressing rooms were clean, sales people were efficient. First time there, will definitely go back. read more

This locations seems well stocked of merchandise and lots of employees around. I overheard a couple of employees saying that several VIP's from corporate were in the store today, so that could be why it looked in better shape than usual. The several employees I interacted with were friendly and welcoming. Restrooms were clean and well kept. The hair salon looked pretty empty, but the shelves were stocked with plenty of hair care products. One of our party was in a wheelchair and it was easy to move around the store and merchandise areas. Racks weren't too cluttered together. We didn't make any purchases as some sizes were out of stock on items of interest, but it's a store that we will go to on the regular. read more

Went to JC Penney store at Edison Mall. The jewelry counter personnel were EXTREMELY RUDE. I waited patiently for a customer to complete her selection and purchase. I already made my selection and was waiting to pay. The rude sales woman just walked away telling me to take my jewelry selections to some other register. What the heck?! All she needed to do is ring up my selections! What- I was only spending $100 so I'm not worth her time?! Never again will I take my time and money to JC Penney's. My husband was with me. Says he will not be spending any Xmas money at Penney's ever again. read more

This is a review about how EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED I AM WITH THE PORTRAIT STUDIO (LIFETOUCH) IN THIS LOCATION: I was extremely dissatisfied because every year that I have gone to take pictures with JCPenney and life touch I have never been treated with disrespect like I was this time. We scheduled the appointment for 4:30pm. We were there on time but they had several people ahead of us which we understand. However, after waiting an hour and 15 minutes to get in the picture room, we were only able to take pictures with one background with the exception of another picture with the second background before the manager or supervisor stormed in the room photo bombing our picture. And asking us to hurry up and leave because there were other people waiting that were angry and were paying more money. Not only was this embarrassing in front of my four kids and husband but it's obvious that she did not know how much we were going to spend because obviously we buy the pictures after the photo shoot. I felt targeted and discriminated. She yelled at her employee Natalie, which was amazing. Natalie treated us with respect and kindness from the beginning and apologized for the wait which we were honestly not upset about. We were only able to be in the photo room for about 35 minutes if that after waiting an hour and 15 minutes. There is evidence she photo bombed are picture because even the photographer had to retake the picture and kindly asked her to "let her finish this picture". I'm sure she felt embarrassed because this woman yelled at her in front of us. I am not the type to write a paragraph about what a horrible experience I had if it wasn't that bad. She yelled at her employee in front of customers and treated us like trash, and told her to hurry up and make our album. I had made my appointment on Black Friday with the perception that the offer for Black Friday will be honored on my dates of appointment since that's what they were advertising on the website. After putting my feelings to the side of how I was treated, I kindly asked Natalie if she had my promo code since I had booked online, the manager abruptly raise your voice at me without letting me finish my sentence, and said that it expired, and there was nothing she can do. I didn't want to continue feeding into this toxic situation and very kindly spoke to Natalie about the other packages they had which were way over my budget but at the time it didn't matter. I just wanted to get out of there and get my kids out of that type of situation, where they have to experience those type of behaviors. Those are not behaviors that I condone or I want my kids to learn you should treat everyone with kindness, no matter what your job or pressure of your job you have. I've been in the hospitality management business for over six years and I couldn't imagine treating one of my employees like that much less a customer one that comes back year after year but one thing for sure is I will find another studio for all of my other shoots from now on. I would like to speak to someone above desk manager about my experience, because I feel like this deserves attention from a company, so well known. read more

LOTS of clearance clothes on the night I went... hard to find the right size, as they seem to throw things back on the rack once customers leave. Wanted to find another size of one pair of jeans that happened to be in clearance, so we asked a worker. Worker sent us to the other end of the store, where that particular brand was kept. We couldn't find the jeans, so we asked another worker, who said that in the time she's worked there, she's never seen jeans in the department. Ok, thanks..... Otherwise, Penney's okay. Not what they used to be, but it's workable. read more

Well, this is more for the JCPenney portraits studio. We arrived at our appointment 15 minutes early, checked in and were told it would be 15 minutes. At our appointment time, we were told it would be another half hour; because everyone showed up at the same time. I would also like to point out how rude the staff behind the counter was also. After waiting for over an hour, we finally went back to see the photographer. Now for the actual time with the photographer. The girl tried to get a good photograph. However after standing around for such a long time, our little one did not want to cooperate. We were not able to get any usable photographs. read more
