Recent visit the AC u it is always a hit or miss, backstage always has employees standing doing nothing but talking. The prices in BS have jumped so high it's not discounted anymore. Looks like they will be out of business soon as well. It's a shame they ran off the good employees it's a revolving door for employment there At least escalators worked well this time. I love shopping at Macy's. They offer variety in brands... so I can shop styles, colors, quality and price.

Some of the stores (Lehigh Valley, PA, & Rockaway, NJ, for 2) have gone so downhill, I rarely bother going in anymore. Lesser brands and lower-quality merchandise overall. Online is usually ok, but more likely to check this site for housewares than for anything else. I did check for costume-level jewelry, and found some decent items. The search tools aren't great, so it's hard to narrow things down. read more

i went to this store on 12/29/24 to return some jeans I bought for my son in the Orlando Macy's and to buy him more clothes to start the new semester at school. We got there appox 1 hour 15 minutes before closing, we asked a lady in mens were if she could help us. She said it is not her area, but she would get some one. The lady came back and said, the other employee said if we wanted to come over to were they were, she could answer any questions we had. I explained to her we needed help in the mens jeans, from some one who works the area. the next hour, no one ever showed up. My son tried new jeans on of different types. As he came our of the dressing room, the lady told him she needed the clothes to put them away. I told her that he needed to try more on. She was every rude, telling hime they were closing. I explained that we have been waiting for help, and you guys watched us over her, but never came to help, and I ask for the manager. She was the Manager. I told her she had terrible customer service and was very rude. She even started accusing us of using the jeans we were retuning. I explained the lines she was seeing was the design in the jeans. I think she realized because she didn't respond. When we left I said good bye, we won't be back, she responded by saying good bye ass hole. What is going on. No wonder Macys is having so many closing. They have forgotten how to treat customers. Good bye, forever, one more customer lost. read more

We are in the process of furnishing our new home. We have been to the furniture store twice trying to buy a sectional and other items. The first time the salesman couldn't have wanted to work less. He didn't help us at all. Kept saying everything is changing. He doesn't know what's available. He can't find it in the computer. Told us to just order online. Said everything is messed up due to covid and we might get furniture in 4-6 months. Just depends. He kept walking away without saying a word. I asked him to talk with his manager about our requests. He said she was in a mtg but would call us after they spoke. That was three days ago and we never heard a word. So we went back today. This time we had a different salesman who was just as helpful. Said furniture may come in two weeks or 6 months. He's just telling us like it is. When we asked about options and online he said they don't know what's going on with supply. It's unreliable and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Gave us his card and said if we want to order call him later. I'm appalled at the lack of service, the lack of loyalty they showed to their employer and the obvious lack of care to whether we bought anything or not. We have purchased many thing from macys in the past and have always been treated well. We like their products and ended up ordering online because we wanted the furniture but it was no thanks to their staff. What an Awful experience. read more

They scanned the barcode on my cellphone email,my name and address matched my government issued id and they would not release my product untill I gave them my driver licence number..I told them to keep product and they were violating my 4th amendment right, will never shop there again. read more

Stopped in to exchange an item that I received damaged online. Found what I was looking for in no time. After I did my transaction I decided to poke around the store. They had a really good clearance section in the home goods department. While this is definitely not one of the fancier Macy's nor is it the biggest, it does have its perks. Less crowds and more customer service attention. read more

The Edison Mall location of this store is a mess and is not the quality I'm used to seeing from Macy's. The shoe department is on its last leg, clothing selection is a waste of time, and the store is dirty. No longer on my list of "go to" when shopping. read more

If you need a new mattress, don't go to Macy's. Their delivery service is terrible. My mattress was to arrive on a Saturday but the order was cancelled without anyone notifying me. I had to sleep on a camp mattress for a week while waiting for it to be reordered and delivery rescheduled. I had to return that mattress because it was not comfortable. I was scheduled and informed of the date they would come. When I checked on pick up, the date had been changed and once again I wasn't notified. In my area they only deliver twice a week from Miami. While Macy's has great sales and quality merchandise, their delivery service is not convenient and trying to reach anyone on the phone is difficult. Save yourself frustration and buy from someone else. read more

Extremely annoyed. Macy's card customer since 1998 with great payment history. Did the make a wish several years. Didn't use card as much lately and they closed the card in October for to inactivity. So disappointed! Do you want business Macy's? Are you doing that well that you can just push customers away due to inconvenience and rudeness? I was told I would have to apply for a new card. Not doing that! Ridiculous! No letter, no call, no nothing!! Got a new card with coupons recently. So weird and unorganized to close it due to inactivity right after they sent that! First I would like to give my outstanding thumbs up to associate Chloe in the house ware department. She did a excellent job in trying to help me. On Monday I tried to buy a item (B & D blender) online and pick up the item at your store in Fort Myers. Having it shipped was not a good business sense. I called your customer service line. They were helpful and apologize for no online order and pick up in store. I was told the Fort Myers store HAD IN STOCK IN STORE 20 of my require product. I arrived at 1000 AM on Tuesday August 6. I contacted Chloe. for 20 minutes she and I search around. She made 4 phone calls for help. Finally she talk with someone and was told the item was ON A TRUCK enroute and MAYBE THE ITEM will be here on August 7 or 8. I gave her my phone number & name. This is the first time in many years I have dealt with Macy's. I would think that with a LARGE company they would have better tracking software. Plus since this item was advertised for a three day run, the store would have had some of this product actually on hand PHYSICALLY IN THE STORE. Update.... Within 30 minutes of posting my issue with Macy's web site I received a phone call and a apologize from the store manager. To make a long story short I got my blender shipped to me free. Plus a couple of added bonus.. though it took 7 days I can testify that Macy takes customer service seriously . read more

I've only been to this Macy's twice and I won't be back. I've. Ever seen such a large "upscale" store with such few staff. Forget about asking a question, you're lucky to see someone willing to take your money. I've seen more staff at Walmart than I did her. I tried to flag down two management-type people (business suits, name tags) and they carefully avoided making eye contact. Forget this...I'll just go to Dillard's. read more

Bought mattress, waited 2 weeks. They refused to provide credentials to condo association after we presented them with it at purchase. They needed to provide business license, workman's comp, and certificate of insurance. The day before delivery they simply refused to provide proof of workman's comp so said they refuse to deliver. Arguably the best department store in the Edison Mall. This is your typical Macy's. I was on a mission to find a birthday present for my mother in law. The watch counter and the Michael Kors watches caught my eye. The employee who helped me was really friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable. This Macy's is clean and several employees said "hello" on my way in and out of the store. Edison mall isn't the best mall i've been too, in fact it is very outdated. But I'll be back to Macy's, the next time I'm in town! read more

I wanted to say how extremely satisfied I am with Aleid (sorry if that's not how to spell your name) who works at the Mac counter in Macy's at Edison Mall in Fort Myers. He not only knows the products and does a great job at showing me how to apply makeup the right way to get the look I want but he is the nicest and most sincere person you could ever want in someone who provides customer service. He will not try to sell you products you don't need but will make sure you are getting what you want and came there for. He is the reason I keep going to get my Mac products at that location. If any of you who use Mac products and you are at Macy's ask for Aleid. read more

This was by far the worst experience with Macy's and Mac I've had. Down visiting my family, I took my aunt to Mac to revamp her makeup and get a makeover. I did this a year ago for my lil sister and had a amazing experience. The manager then went above a beyond. This time I made appointment over phone the same day, when we got there the man was rude and said there was no appointment, that they couldn't do it for 2 hours. Seeing that there was him and two girls doing nothing. I asked to speak to manager if she was working. He laughed and said "speaking" giving me a rude smile. I walked out and to sephora and Macy's lost out on a $350 sale. Won't ever go back, and my family won't either. read more

In the past 3 months, I have had nothing but complaints about Macy's at Edison Mall. The lack of registers open, no one to answer questions and poor selection. Today a cashier refused to return a pair of ear rings with the return sticker. I have a credit card, so the purchase could easily be found since she said I had the wrong receipt. If I could give a minus review I would. I spent over $20,000 on furniture this summer from Macys. On one of the multiple dileveries, they gouged my wall. They sent me a property damage claim form to sign giving ma a final settlement of $75 for the damage. I signed it on September 26 and sent back. one month later, no check. A phone call with a 30 minute wait revealed (according to the outsourced person) that the check was in the mail. I never received it. I have made 3 more calls (all with 30 minute waits) to be told "Im sorry, the check will be sent". I have yet to receive anything. What a joke and sad. A great store like Macys has gone the way of many others, gladly taking your money, but offering ZERO FOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT. NEVER BUY FROM MACYS. read more

I have shopped at this Macys since it opened in place of Maas Bros. and have had good experiences 95% of the time. I find good clothes and other products including a matress set. I have had no problems with deliveries or returns. The staff I have encountered go out of their way to help me...few exceptions over these many years. read more
