I was taken aback when he retorted angrily that I need to come back at 3pm because he would not allow me to check in at 1pm "because of Covid"! That was fine with me, but why did I get an OK email in the first place, I asked? Sam retorted, "I just emailed you that I need to check in at the designated time, don't you read your emails"? (which he probably sent while I was on the road). Then Sam proceeded to dare me, "You can cancel if you want to"! "Do you want me to cancel you"? I just said that "That's Ok, we will come back at 3pm then" So I came back at the designated time, knocked on the closed office. Somebody acknowledged, so I went in. I gave him my name, he looked for it in his database, and then asked for my CC. When Sam was about to get my card, He asked, "Have you been vaccinated"?
