Twice now JC Rego has saved our family from suffering in the heat. Both times they didn't just meet expectations they have exceeded them. My outside unit stopped working and of course it was Friday. I assumed it was going to be a long hot weekend until someone could take a look at it. Sherry in the office was so friendly and courteous and treated my problem as if it was her own. Now, after we have posted the review about his unpleasant service. He has been trying to threaten us that he won't let any other Refrigetion company come and work at our store. I mean I don't get the audacity of this man named John. This is what professionalism is ??? This man thinks he runs California and can do anything. Even if I have put forward the truth of his service. It's 35 minutes drive from his company to our store. He purposely came to the store three times when he could just fix things in two days as he saw what was wrong then. According to his bill he worked for 11 hours considering if we paid him $100 per hour. Which doesn't make sense at all coz drive including for three days couldn't be more than 2 hours and work he did was only 4 hours. So actually for working 6 hours he charged us $1100 for his labor !!! And he has the audacity to still call and threaten. If you do wrong start owning it. No one was keeping him from getting money that he worked for but asking for unreasonable price is the matter here. Also not to forget when asked for detailed bill he threatened to sue us. I just want everyone to know because they are overcharging and being disrespectful through the roof!! read more

My AC stopped working in the hottest part of summer. I put in a call to JC Rego after-hours and left a message. They called me back at 8:03am the next morning and scheduled to come out the same day. They arrived and explained exactly what was wrong and what needed to be replaced. After the work was done, we were satisfied with the job done and the amount we paid for it. We recently experienced that "worst case scenario" when our indoor central AC fan gave out during 100+ temps on a Sunday. John was extremely prompt in both returning my call and showing up to trouble shoot our issue, which he did very quickly. He had the replacement part on hand and fixed the system in under an hour. He also took the time to service the whole system (filter replacement, cleaning outdoor unit, etc). Nobody likes to pay weekend rates, but John was upfront about his pricing, and we were grateful he was available. Out of 3 calls he was the only one to respond in a reasonable timeframe. Very disappointed with this company for being a first-time customer!! The reason for the call was to find out if our AC was working properly due to having high PG&E bills. Ed the service tech came out very nice and knowledgeable found out our outside unit condenser coil's were very dirty and the Freon needed to be charged maybe one hour worth of work was performed. The bill following was $377.49 ridiculous!! I called the office after seeing the breakdown fees the biggest rip off is there port to port tech fee $202.50 and their separate service call charge that does not get included towards the services done. The owner called back with a more or less attitude and said it is what it is if you were happy with your last company you should've stayed with them. REALLY !! Gave them a chance and this is The attitude we get!!! No wonder why they have a quick response time probably due to low customer service calls!!! read more
