We had absolutely no idea what we were getting into with adopting our puppy last summer- thank god…read morefor Maureen and Cleveland Dog Walk! Maureen has not only taken our dog for fabulous fun in the sun, leaves, and snow but has been an invaluable resource for us as new dog owners. I know that when our pup is with her that he is in great hands- it always calms your heart when your dog gets just as excited to see her to go on his walk as he is to see you when you get home. Maureen and her team love your dog as much as you do- Perhaps the best example I have of this is when she carried our (then) 35 lb lab mix down 6 flights of stairs in the dark to take him on a walk when the power was out and the elevators were not working. With two busy jobs with sometimes chaotic long work days, we could NEVER EVER have done it without Maureen and Cleveland Dog Walk. Obviously I give her the highest recommendation ever- the only thing I worry about is what we will do if we ever move away from Cleveland !

Nina and Maureen always go above and beyond to ensure your pup is well taken care of, well exercised, and well loved. Our dog, who can be slow to warm up to people, is head over heels in love with all of their staff members. If you aren't using Cleveland Dog Walk yet, this is your sign to get on their schedule ASAP!!!

I am so blessed to have found this wonderful pet sitting service for my three large dogs . I found…read morethem through a neighbors recommendation and she could've been more on target! Marlene , Andy and their staff really make it a practice to know your dogs well and I am so comfortable leaving them in their care. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE IN THE WINTER! We had been using…read moreMarlene's pet sitting service for years, & were happy with the company .. Until we went on a highly anticipated 2 week cruise / land vacation to Hawaii to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary during the winter of February 2025.. We had a PROFESSIONAL SNOW PLOW SERVICE scheduled to clear our driveway.. Marlene, the business owner called us while we were in port at one of the islands preparing to leave for dinner.. and informed us that our driveway was not clear enough & if the snow wasn't appropriately cleared, she would not have her workers stop by, & our dogs wouldn't be fed!!! I was frantically trying to call our professional snow plowing service in Ohio before our ship left port & we would lose cell service. My niece was staying at our house at night during our trip, & she took pics of our driveway, & the snow was adequately cleared. When we arrived home from our trip, the FRONT DOOR was NOT LOCKED, & there was 40 pieces of UNCOLLECTED MAIL IN OUR MAILBOX. There was also dog vomit on the pillows on our living room couch.. When I let Marlene know of the situation we came home to..she was very rude & unprofessional & accused my 30 year old niece of leaving the door unlocked, & not cleaning up the dog mess in the living room! Then she told me I was exaggerating about the mail. One of Marlene's duties was to collect the mail daily.. Our mail was nearly falling out of the mailbox into the ditch! As far as my niece leaving the dog vomit & the front door unlocked, (which she would never do), our niece left our house at 7:00 am in the morning, & Marlene's "helpers" were the last people at our home before we arrived home later that afternoon after a 20 hour flight home from Hawaii. Marlene caused what should have been a wonderful cruise & vacation to Hawaii to be stressful for my husband & I, as we were concerned our dogs would not be attended to properly.. She was rude & cold & uncaring towards me when I tried to converse with her about the condition our home was in when we returned from our trip. I am writing this review now, a year later, because I want to spare anyone else Marlene's unprofessional & rude treatment. If you plan to use Marlene's service during Spring, Summer, Fall.. it will be fine. DO NOT USE HER SERVICE DURING THE WINTER MONTHS, as she is unreliable in the event of snow..

While I do trust the staff at Mutt-Hutt, I am a little disappointed with one thing in particular.... My Bailey (75lb German Short Haired Pointer) has stayed at the Mutt Hutt on several occasions. Both for day care and several overnight stays of both short and extended lengths. The advantage of this place is the cage free environment they offer. Bailey no longer sleeps in a crate at home so we thought it would be more comfortable for him to stay at a place that would allow him to socialize freely with the other dogs and at the end of the night, sleep on the hodge podge furniture throughout this house. The last time we picked him up, the staff said Bailey isn't allowed to stay overnight anymore. Ruh Roh! Apparently he "barks" too much. Huh? I could understand if he was aggressive, but he's not. At all. High energy, yes, but he's also the kindest, most gentle soul you'd ever meet. But he barks a tad too much according to the staff. That's like saying your child can't stay at day care anymore because your kid cries or talks too much. Nothing wrong with the kid. He plays well with others and is generally fun to be around, but he makes noise. What? Thanks anyways Mutt Hutt. We'll find somewhere else to take our pooch.
