My previously happy four year old dog was fearful of any dog that she saw or heard, which was a huge issue since we walk three or four miles a day. We met privately with Val and talked about what was going on with Daisy and what we wanted for her. After that, Val gave us homework. And there was a fair amount of homework, to be sure. We stuck with it, though, and our girl is back to enjoying her walks 99.9 percent of the time. Val was there every step of the way when we had questions or needed assistance. The training involved no corrections or anything like that. Sits n Wiggles only uses positive reinforcement, which is incredibly important to us. Additionally, they offer a ton of classes! Group classes! Classes that let your dogs sniff to their hearts content! Service dog training classes! Classes to help reactive dogs work through their issues! Val and her trainers are fantastic and its reassuring to know that there's a team out there that will work with your dogs without resorting to controversial and potentially damaging methods.

They, the expert dog trainers that supposedly care so much about your dog, seriously suggested we medicate our dog so she would be more manageable for them!! To make matters worse they refused to refund our money. We offered $300 to put this horrible experience behind us. They took our $1200 in full and kept it for only two days work. They refused my calls and would not talk to me to resolve the problem. Do not trust these people with your pet or your money!

I researched a lot of dog training facilities before choosing Paramount Dog Training, and I'm so…read moreglad I did. One of the most important things to me was finding a program that could help me have a well-behaved, obedient dog while still allowing her to be my baby and beloved family pet. I found that many training facilities seemed to focus on a very strict, military-style or working-dog approach, which wasn't what I was looking for. The team at Paramount understood that both things can be true at the same time, you can have a dog that is well-trained, respectful, and reliable while still being a cherished companion. Their training methods, guidance, and support have made such a difference in our lives. Four years later, I still stop in for refresher classes and to visit the team and friends I've made along the way. The simple tips they taught me, combined with consistency at home, have continued to pay off year after year. I receive compliments almost daily on how well-behaved my dog is, and she even comes to work with me every day. I am incredibly grateful for everything Paramount has done for us. If you're considering dog training, don't think twice about choosing Paramount Dog Training. It was one of the best decisions I've made, and I know you'll be thankful you did too!

While walking my dog in our town square I saw a dog training in progress. There were several dogs…read morethere. We waited until they were finished and I approached the trainer Mel who was conducting the training. I told him I was having a challenge teaching my Labrador to not pull on her leash. He looked at me and my dog and said "No wonder, its a hunting dog." I didn't let this bother me and got the information for training with his company. We met with Alec for our initial evaluation and were happy with him. He was personable and liked our dog. We liked him. Before committing to training sessions we attended two "pack walks". This is where owners and dogs meet at a park to perform training drills in a group. During these pack walks Alec was there but Mel was clearly in charge. As I walked towards the group with my pup she barked. This clearly annoyed Mel. Alec helped us by placing a prong collar and walking my dog as she calmed. I heard Mel say to Alec "Are we OK" Ignoring me completely. Alec said yes. Mel seemed to act like a drill sergeant. No personality or kindness to him. I got a Kind of a Steven Seagal vibe from him. While performing a sit stay where the owner walks away from their dog then calling them. My pup of less than a year old couldn't do it. When I walked away she followed. Mel took it upon himself to go to my dog and lift sharply on her leash which had a prong collar attached. as I walked a short distance. I turned and could see the confusion and hurt in my pups eyes. As Mel held her collar up. we completed the session paid our $65 for the hour and never returned. I now see why it was Alec we first met to represent the company.

They used to be associated with Heights Canine, but recently split and rebranded. I cannot overstate how happy we have been with the training provided by David and the support of his staff. Our dog is very energetic, but she has also been very responsive to training and I feel like the best decision we made was to get her into training as soon as possible. The process of training the dog is as much a process of training us about how to train her and David was very patient and corrected us on our method as often as we corrected the dog. It's a mutual learning process and I am entirely satisfied with the results. An additional benefit of training with Miracle K9 is that they offer boarding and as of this writing Monday and Friday day care, but only to training clients. Our dog loves the day care and I'm so happy to know that she is around other dogs who have been through proper training. It's difficult to trust other people's dogs, but I am very comfortable dropping our dog off to socialize knowing that the staff know how to handle the dogs. Our dog is always excited to go to day care and comes home thoroughly exhausted. I'm looking forward to what the future holds for Miracle K9 Training.
