Very friendly staff and our dog just loves it there. He comes home so tired it's a blessing.

Our pup loves it here. We chose Camp Bow Wow because there is absolutely no crating at any point of the day. As soon as our little guy gets there, he's nonstop playing with other pups and socializing with staff. We chose the Strongsville location (a bit of drive from Brecksville but SO worth it!!) because of the great reviews. Great, friendly staff that love and care for the dogs. We like the cameras and the ability to watch our the little guy throughout the day interact with dogs and staff. Plus, our little guy gets to run his little butt off. What's not to love?! The extra services such as training and grooming not to mention celebrations such as birthdays, Mother's and Father's Day and other holidays/special days are an added bonus. read more

I boarded my 8 month old puppy for 7 days. He has separation anxiety and I was so nervous that he would be upset. Also, he is on prescription food and meds - well I did not need to worry because they took great care of my boy and sent my pictures of him having a good time. We (including our dog Nerf) love Camp Bow Wow! The staff is so nice and helpful, and Nerf always has a great time. He plays hard with the big dogs and loves it. He loves dog parks too, but some owners don't monitor their dogs so it makes me leery to bring him there. I trust CBW and know Nerf will have a great time; it's also been helping him get through his separation anxiety. I really appreciate CBW's support of local dog shelters too. read more

We were scrambling to find a place to board our dog and set up an interview with Camp Bow Wow. Our dog was a little nervous so they recommended the social classes before boarding her. After the third class it turned out they already booked our dates and were full. The owner was wonderful and said they would change their policy if a family is trying hard to make it work that they will keep the dates needed. So our dog was allowed to stay there while we were gone. When I dropped her off, however, I was told they didn't see our booking but they still took her. They were excellent toward my dog, I was able to watch on the cameras. They seemed a little disorganized when trying to set all this up and I was told the two social classes would be refunded toward our boarding bill and that didn't happen, but they know how to treat dogs. People skills need a little work. read more

My two Malteses always have a great time here! They have the best teacup section for doggy day camp in the Cleveland-area (with an outdoor area even!) We drive over 25 minutes for this camp but it's worth it knowing they will be safe and well taken care of! The camera is also great to check on them throughout the day. read more

Total waste of time! We told them the date we were leaving. Sure we had to do the social dates fine. 3rd visit they gave our dates to someone else.and totally screwed us over! Not recommended at All! read more

Have been going there since late 2018. On are latest full day Zola our hound mix dog was being sprayed by one employee for no reason. Then she was locked by herself. We immediately went to pick her up. We won't be going back. read more

Staff is amazing and my dog has a great time!! Watching him on camera throughout the day ensures me that he is safe and the staff are great with him! He is currently in basic level training and the trainer is fantastic! My puppy is picking up commands quick with her positive reinforcement training. I can even get my dog groomed while he is in day care! I'm so glad I found this place and my dog looks forward to getting dropped off here!! read more

I absolutley love this place and have been taking my pets there for over 3 years. Clean, friendly and my two dogs love it there. We have one small breed and one large breed and both are very happy here. When we board them we cage them together at night. Their home buddies service is outstanding too! We also have a cat and some fish, so using this service all 4 animals are taken care of - they even brought in our mail and took the trash out! You get a wonderful report for each day too telling you what transpired while you were gone. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow Strongsville to anyone looking for great, reasonably priced care for their pets! read more

It must just be my bad luck but my Black Lab has gotten Kennel Cough the last three times we left her there overnight. What is the point of having all the required vaccinations if she gets sick all the time. And then it's another visit to the vet for another round of meds. She does enjoy herself there and is totally whipped for a couple of days after coming home. read more

We chose camp bow wow strongsville due to a previously bad experience at another kennel with our dog receiving a bite from an aggressive dog. We liked it because it had live cameras (they can replay footage if any incidents happen). We loved watching our dog play during the day thanks to the app on the phone. Our doggie always came back so tired and worn out, so we know he always had a great time here! Staff was SO friendly and helpful, always very professional. You can tell they all love what they do. I've been taking my pet here for a year now and it's awesome however the odor that he carries with him after leaving is awful. I've had my guy there anywhere from 5 hours up to 3 day's on and off throughout 12 months and although he loves it and is completely drained when I pick him up he needs a bath before I can even settle down with him. The lobby is beautiful but once passing thru the doors to play area or crates look out!! I'm choosing to stay anonymous to protect my pet as I don't see going anywhere else because he just loves it here. Camp Bow Wow would get an easy 5 stars if ordor was trimmed down. Best place around! I have been taking my Pekingese to Camp Bow Wow in Strongsville for around 7 years. We absolutely love it there. She gets great personal attention from the camp counselors. This is such a great place to leave your fur babies when you'll be away for a long day. I have used the day camp several times now and our dog, Maisy, just loves it. She's a high-energy girl and when she is done here she is fully stimulated and tired! That's no small feat with Maisy! Her favorite day there so far was on one of the warm days they brought out the dog pools! She had a blast and it was fun to see pics of the dogs frolicking in them. I especially love the "camper cams" to check in and see how she is doing throughout the day. Highly recommend this place and worth the spend versus leaving your dog alone for long periods. They also have boarding which seems equally as good, though I haven't yet used it, as well as grooming and training. read more

I have to say how wonderful Camp Bow Wow is. My dog has been there 3 times now and he's loved it every time. The staff is very nice and they are very well trained in how to handle dogs. I have been to other boarding kennels where it didn't seem like they staff knew how to control and handle the dogs but here at Camp Bow Wow, they really do seem to know what they are doing. They were very accommodating to my dogs needs on the last visit and gave him the medication he needed and made sure he got the exercise he was supposed to. Above all that, you can really tell how much they love being with the dogs. I have not met one staff member who treated it like just another job, which is really comforting. The facility is very clean and well organized. I like the fact that they have a separate indoor/outdoor playground for the small dogs and the big dogs as they do not always get along too well. I also love the fact that the dogs play for most of the day and are not just penned up in their cages. That makes for one tired dog when you get home, and that's a good thing! My first visit there I was given a tour of the place and they made sure all my questions were answered. Just be aware that before you can board your dog there overnight, you are required to bring them there for a free day of daycare to make sure there are no issues and that everyone gets along. While this can be inconvenient, I understand why they do it and agree that it's probably a good idea to do. It just means that you won't be able to board them overnight the first time last minute. read more

I recently took a tour of the Camp Bow Wow in Strongsville and had a couple of concerns. One, i didn't like that they had a small dog ( looked like a maltese) in a glass box that seems to be a 1 foot by 2 feet wide, when i asked why that dog was in there alone i was told that he had just had a bath. Also the lady told me there were 45 dogs there and while the big dogs were separated from the small there was no one in view watching the small dogs and one girl in the big yard just leaning up against the fence. I would hope that there was more people there and that they were interacting with the dogs. Overall i like the concept but the facility seemed cramped and understaffed. We absolutely love Strongsville Camp Bow Wow and so does our dog Zeke! We can't even say "Camp Bow Wow" in the house because he gets so excited and is ready to run for the door to leave. I have never left my dog for more than one night so I was a little worried to leave him when we planned a vacation out of the country - I didn't need to worry at all - Zeke was well taken care of and having the camera option available give me peace of mind. My husband caught me more than once a day checking on him and thougt it was funny. I would recommend Strongsville Camp Bow Wow to all of my friends with dogs! It makes me feel great when we walk in the door and the staff is excited to see him as he is to see them. Zeke seems to love all of the staff and they really do make sure that they give each dog attention. read more

I absolutely love this place!! The staff is wonderful and beyond kind. My dog loves coming here once a week. They always have fun things to go around and do. I love that she can go indoor or outdoor when she wants too. They are specific on dogs coming in. Which is nice they make sure all dogs are UTD on their shots. I love the pictures they take during special events. The best part of Camp though is the video to watch your dog play. I check it all the time to see her run around and play all day. I love it here and Callie does too! Won't ever go anywhere else again. read more
