Tia added some great ideas to our vision. We also updated our irrigation system for our front and backyard. She asked us great question for us to consider a few things we had not thought about. ALD and Tina were willing to work with us using some stone we had purchased for our design. Tina was a great project manager keeping us informed and the project team direction as needed. The landscape core team did an outstanding job on bringing the actual design to life. The high quality and pride taken in the work the completed was outstanding. The competed project was done in the time frame in our work agreement. It looks fantastic!! We couldn't be more happy. I would highly recommend Tia and team at American Landscape & Design. Their quote was reasonable for the level of work needed in our project.

Steve and team came in and installed pavers, updated the firepit, rebuilt the retaining wall and steps giving the whole patio a new modern look. The team was timely, professional and a pleasure to work with. I would definitely call upon them again.

I have very mixed feelings about the work done. Some parts are great. Some parts I hate…read more Armando updated my 20 year old brick patio. It had unsightly, cracked wood timbers used both structurally and in the design. I loved the aesthetics of my existing bricks but there were areas that had sunk, were uneven and therefore potentially unsafe. Armando changed the structure of the patio. He used cinder blocks for the new footing and changed the perimeter sides from timbers to new bricks. He brought 3 samples of bricks for the new sides and we both agreed on one that had a purplish tone. He also suggested using a red brick interspersed as a complimentary color. I reluctantly agreed to that. He started the job using the purplish brick but for some reason changed course, and he and his worker (who worked long stretches solo sometimes) began using only the red bricks. I don't understand why the deviation occurred. 95 percent of the new sides are the red bricks and I hate that. To me the sides of the patio look ugly and cheap, and diminish the beauty of my older bricks. Very disappointing. Conversely, the surface area Armando redid using my existing bricks looks really great and I am very happy with that. It's lovely. He did that mostly without another worker involved so I know his solo work can be excellent. Other negatives: There was a mistake with construction of the step. Armando made it only one brick in depth so a human foot actually could not fully fit on it. Fortunately, I caught the mistake and acceptable changes were made. There was a young worker who had zero regard for my plants and flowers. He pushed a heavy wheelbarrow thru a garden bed and parked it there atop the now smashed plants. He stacked heavy bags of Quickcrete, tools and bags atop blooming plants. He stacked bricks too high and narrowly so the piles tipped over, chipping edges and damaging some of the older bricks. This was disrespectful and unnecessary carelessness. Armando is respectful and seems thoughtful. Of 3 contractors that gave me quotes, he was the only one that wrote out a detailed plan and his pricing was fair. It could have been a really great result, but unfortunately didn't quite work out that way.

I need a patio extended, sprinkler repair and retaining wall looked at. I received an email from Martine which read "Hello, I'm sorry but we dont di irrigation repair. We are a design build firm with a 5k minimum." Yes, that is how "don't and do" were spelled - hmmm in a hurry. The website says they do "A Perfect Landscape is committed to helping you maintain your Denver landscaping through friendly customer service and affordable sprinkler system installation." As it doesn't say repair - I am interested in updating the system and a new patio. So much for "friendly customer service" - guess they are not so "Perfect". 6-29-18 - Update - I did receive a voicemail from Martine asking to call her so she can make this right. Nice gesture and appreciate the reach out. However, you only get 1 chance for a first impression and this was not a good impression. Especially, after she mentioned she saw this Yelp review. So was it the email I sent or the review - either way - left a bad impression of the company for me. Maybe others will have better luck.

It looks great! His crew worked extremely hard and paid attention to detail while completing the project. Aspenwood had the right equipment to do an excellent job in soil prep, which included 15 tons of soil treatment.
